[REQUEST] Genie Widget - google news & weather

Sorry, if it was already requested, but for 2.3.3 JVQ stock the app it isn\t working. The one from I5500 or another HTC phone. Has anybody managed to find an apk which doesn't fc?

Tested and works great on BENZ 4.0 DEODEXED.should work on all jb deodexed phone.
To install it, download the apk from the attachments and push it with root explorer to system/apps.set permissons
reboot.

It also works for any odexed ROM but you need to make one additional step: delete AccuweatherWidget.odex file
Tested on my rooted stock - look awesome.

Delete AccuweatherWidget.odex, as I posted above.
And then reboot your phone

Can we only install this apk, because I tried the 50% transparency one and the installation failed?

I got some problems with the installation of the fully transparent version...
Always get the same error:
Im running benz v3 on my device.
Hope u guys can tell me the problem.

You have to mount system in settings and set root access to root manager

btw, if you are on ODEX rom, just delete AccuweatherWidget.odex and AccuweatherWidget_Main.odex from system\app folder too

Thanks man, it works good but i want touchwiz30launcher from the stock 2.3.6 (with transparent drawer)...
because it has more space in home pages(the widgets and shortcuts are bigger than in s/s2 touchwiz)

[Q] Transparent App Drawer in CyanogenMod 10.1

Hello guys
All day I've been looking for a transparent app drawer (trebuchet) for CM10.1 for the Galaxy Gio. I found some guides but I can't edit apk's. I found this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059140&page=6
The app drawer of this topic works on my device (galaxy gio). But it turns black again as soon as I press BACK. In this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40777209&postcount=54
Rodman01 said that he has fixed the problem. But the OP is not updated and file is not in topic
could someone please send me the flashable ZIP to me, to make the app drawer of CM 10.1 transparent ?

Oh you ment, the other thread, where I posted that I have the solution is not updated...I told that OP the solution via pm and in my second post is the guide too. But my op is updated and the v3 is the fixed version. When the installation on your device is aborted, then I think it is the flashable zip/the updater script that don't work on your device. You could extract my file from the zip and move it to a working flashable zip of yours. You could also try to copy the extracted apk to system folder of your device. Don't forget do set the permissions. But this possibility I personally didn't got it to work, so I prefer and recommend to flash it. It could be and is most likely that my transparent trebuchet is not working on your device. Because also most likely that launcher is related and compiled with the ROM and/or the framework-res.

please give me the link to your rom again and I will see what I can do for you . Think tomorrow I will have some "spare time" and probably can release a version for your Galaxy Gio.

First of all, thanks for all your help.
I tried to install but it says 'error in 100% transparent trebuchet gio cm10.1.zip - (status 0) Installation aborted

Ah ok...think/hope its only the updaterscript in flashable zip. I created an alternative flashable zip, which is attached here Would you please test this, hope that with that you could install the apk. If not, could you provide me a flashable zip, that works on your device?

installed zip through cwm with no error but no change extracted the apk from zip and installed as normal install and installed successfully and transparency is working.

Cool and :highfive: thanks for reporting...so I assume the installable zip is not working with your device, but when you copy it to system app or use an other flashable zip, trebuchet is turning to transparent. Great and thanks for testing and reporting...yes no problem 100% is already ready...only the 50% I have to do new....but not really a problem, will only last a bit !

I do not know but I still sell square! my google app is v.7.10.35.21

I have a one more solution for Rounded Widget And works on also MM Stock Touchwiz Home and other's.
First Download Zooper Widget Apk
And Download Attachment Files
Install zooper widget apk
Now downloaded files extract and copy to
Internal storage/ZopperWidget/Templates
And Now Add Widget On Home Screen.
And select Widget and go To Templates and select Rounded Google Bar And Done.:good::fingers-crossed:

Hi there,
I installed both the apks provided by rahulsinh. The first one didn't even install, the second one installs but crashes. I cleared cache and data to both touchwiz homes (the one I have on my phone and the one I installed), but still it doesn't work. My phone is Galaxy On5 Pro with android 6.0.1, non rooted.
ANY HELP OR SUGGESTION WILL BE MOST APPRECIATED.

What? Samsung j5 2015 stock. No root.
