Hi - Can someone please point me in the right direction and tell me where I can find this popup menu? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Edit: I found it in framework/res/drawable-xhdpi/tw_menu_dropdown_panel_holo_dark. Now I just need to find the text color
Edit: I found the edit which controls the text color within the dropdown menu : framework/res/color/tw_optionmenu_text_holo_dark

Ok. I have searched for this and cannot find it.
When I receive - for example - a text message and the icon pops up in the top bar and I click on it...
With the T2, it takes me to the Notification Panel which gives me the battery level and the remaining memory and a message that says I have a text. Duh!
On 6.1 (Fuze), you could disable that through settings>TouchFlo. I cannot find the way to disable that Notifications Panel in 6.5. Is it still possible? Perhaps w/a Reg Edit if not via menu.

There is a utility available to turn Notification Manager on or off - NRG includes it in his ROMs.
Alternatively, there is a Reg edit - find the key HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags. It should be 0 by default - change it to 4. This stops the HTC notification manager running and restores the default WM functionality.
Cheers,
Jim.
@Ramsfan_Jim - Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.... that stupid notification manager was really ticking me off, and not to mentioned.. it freed up quite a bit of memory.
Again, Thank You!!!
I tried searching the forums to see if my question was already answered on this, but I couldn't find any that directly answered me, so here goes:
How does one go about changing what shorctus are in the bottom bar; where there are the 4 seemingly permanent shorcuts (Phone, Contacts, Messaging and Applications)? (or is this at all possible?)
Specifically, I'd love to be able to change the "Messaging" shortcut to be Handcent, my texting app of choice.
Thanks in advance!
Open Applications.
Hit Menu Key (bottom left).
Select Edit.
Drag stuff on and off of the launcher bar at the bottom.
Or get alot more fun options by installing a different launcher, I love GoLauncher.
That did it. Thanks so much for the reply! +Thanks for you!
Searched Google, relevant XDA threads before posting, so if you found this, please share the link and accept my apologies.
I am using a 10.1 12-23 nighlty on VZW Gnex. Should there be a Users section in the Settings panel, or has this just not been done/merged yet? I see a lot of users running 10.1 that have there own image in the user Quick Panel tile; I'm sadly stuck with "Owner" and can't figure out how to change it because I don't seem to have a Users section on my settings panel.
Any ideas? I've tried a number of search terms but keep coming up empty....
Thanks for any help or insight you might provide!
I am not using CM 10.1 but an AOSP ROM so I think it will be the same.
The multi-user function is only for tablets, however, to just change the picture of that tile then you have to do the following:
1) Click on the user tile itself
2) Click again on the rectangle that shows
3) Click on the upper right 3 vertical dots
4) Click on "Edit"
5) Click on the square beside the owner name at the right (below the "contacts" icon)
6) Select the photo you want
7) After selecting the photo, click on the upper left tick sign (DONE) to save
Check the tile now... Well Done
It syncs with Google+ as well.

Solved!
My solution was different - and may turn out to be painfully obvious to you guys - but the suggestions helped me figure it out, so thanks.
In my case, when I pressed on the tile the toast came up that the contact didn't exist. So when I looked in the contacts I realized I didn't have an entry for "Me" (listed at the top of the contacts). That was all I was missing. Duh!
Thanks for your help and suggestions, cause it led me to the fix.
Hi,
May I ask if there is a way for us to remove the "Edit" button in the Quick Settings page?
See attached image for reference.
Thanks

Does anybody have an idea on how to get rid of the blue user icon at the top right of the lockscreen?
you can not get rid of it you can only change the picture.
To do so: press on icon->settings-> press your name and then press on icon to change it

You can also sync it with Google+ if you tick the right options in the app's settings and select within your account details.
