I am currently running a rooted Stock Sense......
Beyond 2.2's ability to move apps to the sd card.... and other apps in the marketplace to speed up the process....
Is there a way to move the apps to the 8 gig of internal memory?

i saw one person claim that an older version of someones rom did this but i dont know who's. i sure would love that also.
I am running Download xtrSENSE 5.0: http:// zach.xtr.i6ix.com/xtrSENSE5.0.1.zip it will app2internal , app2sd when u use the Gscript , menu, load file (& load whichever ) & the u select what u loaded 2 make it run before backing out 2 home BTW I'm Droid Eris
I tried 2 give u a link but I guess it didn't work . xtrSENSE5.0.1. is just like stock & I enjoy using it . I'm new here but I hope I answered ur question. It has a lot more 2 offer than just what I described.
So recently i bought an SD card, normally 'moving' all my apps in SD was going into my files, touch and hold the game file i wanted to move and drop it into the EXT SD..
Once i did that, i was certain that all my apps were in the SD card but when i looked at storage they were all saved under the phones built in SD..
Apart from that.. all of a sudden it won't let me download any apps what so ever from the internet.. it comes up with an error telling me i have NO space and to delete some apps.. i have 8gb of EXT SD sace and 6gb Internal SD.. so why cant i download a 50mb app????????
I've reset the cache in clockword Mod and in the Play store... WTF is going on?
please help
bump

Try factory reset. I've never had that issue before. I've been reading the forums and the external memory on the gs3 and note 2 among others can be tricky. There are mods that can be applied that help issues with expandable memory. Tread lightly, and carefully is the only advice I have right now

Try asking in the Omega ROM thread then. Might be something specific to that ROM. Alternatively, go back to stock.
did that as soon as i posted, but to be honest im thinking about getting rid of omega rom, i quite liked it stock but obviously rooted.. what would be the best rom for that? to have it stock but rooted and be able to remove bloat ware?

Go back to stock and add latest firmware
Root it
Use titanium backup to freeze or remove bloatware or use ROM Cleaner v1.1 AROMA
Stock, root and bloatware free :fingers-crossed:

I agree.
Also, before posting in the Q&A section, go to the rom's thread and post the issues prior to asking here. Also, Galaxy Note 2 should have about 16GB of internal storage.
And you didn't mention what brand of SD card you bought. You may need to check that product issue prior to problem, also, when you use App2Data, I would suggest you restart your phone after using App2Data. Also, you may need to check your apps' data for any extra data. Some apps may download extra data and store it on your phone without lettting you know.
i was using a Sandisk 16gb and it worked perectly fine, all these things seem to happen out of nowhere. When i tried to use apps to SD it would never shower up with movable apps so i treid moving them using MY FILES.
When i downloaded a music software on my computer the phone wouldn't show up either when plugged in.
thanks for helping tho ive waited quite a few days for help
Apps2SD doesn't work on JB, so you probably messed something up whilst trying to get it to work.
what can i use to move the apps in to the SD then?

You could try prayer. You never know, might work.
I am looking for something similar to sdmaid but for not rooted phone. Can someone give me suggestions?
You can't access /system without root...
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
Ok, I understand that I can't access /system without root, but I was thinking of some app that will clean as much as possible of the leftovers of uninstalled apps. I hate when the phone gets full of leftovers from apps that are not on my phone anymore. I don't know why the system (android) is functioning like that. Why files and folders are left on the phone when the app is already uninstalled?

What you are looking for IS SD Maid .
SD Maid will try as hard as it possibly can without root, but as previous posters mentioned, some things are just not possible without root.
It's not like devs say "oh, lets give those things only to root users" .
Hey guys im just looking for some help on installing apps to my SD card on android 4.2.2
the 16 goes really fast once you install a couple of gamelot games like MC4 or Nova 3
is there a mod out yet for 4.2.2? I know there was one for touchwiz based 4.1.2 roms, but I honestly can't stand the whole touchwiz ui
any help would be appreciated!
Try FolderMount: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192122

Did you try the method given in the below link(that doesn't even require rooting or installing any apps!)?
http://karthikkn.wordpress.com/2013...card-on-your-android-phone-without-rooting-it
If you are rooted you try these 2 apps.
1. Link2SD from http://www.link2sd.info
It will let you move app apk to external sd card.
2. This http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35097315
It will let you move those 1gb data folders to external sd card.
Borh of these i expect uses some form of mount or ln command (google them if you want) under the hood. No special hack needed and you could DIY it if you fancy tying on the command prompt.

Hey guys, I have been a regular reader of your forums now for a few months. I am still learning so forgive me if I come off as lazy and unwilling to learn, or flat out dumb.
I sometimes get bored and search the web for ways to improve my tablet. I started by rooting and getting custom recovery, xposed, and various root apps just trying to improve performance or learn a bit more. Recently I had come across a list of which system apps are safe to remove. I backed up system apk and odex files and started deleting. My SD card was taken by my sister and she wiped it so she could put music on it. I don't have any real issues with how my tablet is running, but I can no longer open the Memo app without it crashing immediately. From what I have read, I believe my Touchwiz was deleted (if that is possible?) I did also delete my Prepaid installer.apk
Basically, I want to know if what I said makes sense to why Memo keeps crashing; is there perhaps a way to just download any system apps and put their respective APK's back to the system/app folder (or perhaps all I need is the Prepaid installer.apk?);and a little off topic, but how do I make the device status to Official rather than custom and should I even bother with anything OTA for updates.
Thanks for listening to a novice try to bs his way through new tech lingo and sorry if I spoke incorrectly, posted in the wrong section, or any other number of rookie mistakes I may have committed. Xda forums are an absolute goldmine though! Keep up all the great everyone, I hope to become a more active member in the future.

This is a theoretically long work around, since I was going to give it to you only to realise I no longer have it either xD.......I suppose if you can get a hold of a new sd card, look into Titanium Backup, its a pretty useful app but it requires root permissions. Then if you can find the stock rom for your tab, there should be one somewhere in the development forums for 7", you can flash the stock and root again and install titanium, then backup the memo app to the sd card. Then restore your previous ROM state and install titanium again, switch the folder options to the path where the backup is on the sd card and restore it to that ROM.
As for TouchWiz...I think that's the OS GUI so it's most likely still there if you're using the tab. Not too sure about the prepaid ap though, but if it came with the stock then the above process should work as well.
