[Q] Buying Galaxy Nexus in San Francisco.

Hi all!
I am looking for a physical store in San Francisco where they sell the Galaxy Nexus or where you believe i can find one from a reliable store. Please i need some quick input as i am just gonna be here for another 3-4 days.
I'm aware of Expansys and internet retailers, but must be a physical store. I've been a Nexus One early adopter.

Someone who bought it from Expansys and sells some stock in SFO?

i'm in sf and ordered from handtec on tuesday and fedex tracking says it will be delivered thursday morning, not offering to sell it of course just letting u know u could order it and have it delivered quickly

My brother is in SF but he will leave saturday... as he is staying in a hotel.. it is a pita and not desirable to ship to a hotel. He said the only way he would think of buying me one was just physical only.

it came out to 439.98 GBP including shipping which on tuesday morning worked out to 684.48 USD. Now it would be about 690.94 USD due to conversion rate. I used paypal with my amex. they only have 1 shipping option to USA

Buy it from Expansys, I got mine in three days in the USA.

expansys-usa doesn't have stock though. they were expecting to get stock today but their website shows they are still waiting.
warning -- the handtec fedex shipping label says 'weekday delivery' so i wouldn't count on getting it on saturday

You could try Mobilecity too, they are in NYC. I think they are charging more than US$749 though.

There's a store north of Chicago that has them for > $800. It is unlikely they are the only ones in the country that imported and are reselling at a b&m location.

A better deal than dailysteals and that deal expired I believe. If you ordered a Galaxy Nexus from Newegg less than a week ago, you can try talking to customer service and see if they will drop the price to match with the coupon. In the past, they've done price matches if they changed the price within a week or so of your purchase.

From the i9100 I ordered from them, they put the business card of their warranty company in there. When I bought the Nexus this past week, I ordered from Amazon and got square trade instead. I did not have a good experience with NewEgg on the i9100 purchase.

Newegg is very reputable when it comes to good packaging in a well manner. The promo code is LIMITED and will not always be there. I would say just buy it, if you have a problem with it.. you can contact their customer support which is excellent.

Oh I know about new egg. I use them exclusively for my computer business. I just read the reviews where they were opened and had been turned on before. That's all.

Well considering 98%+ of the feedback are generally positive. I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as there are no physical damage on the phone and the seal is on the screen, it doesn't matter.. just do a factory reset. That's just my own opinion but for some people this can be the deal breaker because a welcome screen wasn't displayed

Do not buy from newegg. I bought mine from them in dec. with extended warranty. Phone broke in feb. The phone was covered by neweggs 90 day warranty so i had to send it to brainstorm co. for repair.Brainstorm is where newegg gets their phones from. Called brianstorm 2 weeks after i sent the phone they told me it would be about 2 more weeks. Called newegg to see what they could do for me, they told me there was nothhing they could do because they dont have control of another company. So today i called brainstorm 25 days since i sent the phone to them, they had no clue when phone would be ready I asked to speak with manager was told there was none. Called newegg again they told me i should tell brainstorm to send me my phone back without repair so i could send it to extended warranty co for repair. What the heck is that! Anyway sorry for the rant but i will never buy from newegg again. Buy from Amazon.

Really? lol. You're kidding about NOT buying from Newegg because of this? Newegg is a excellent company when it comes to buying from their website and they're recognized for their fast shipping and great customer service.
Buying a phone from Amazon will bring you in the same situation. The best way to get a Galaxy Nexus (GSM) is to get it through Negri or Expansys.

Release of SW2 in US?

According to Sony, it's not officially released in US yet. So where do you guys buying it from? I see it's being sold on Amazon (US) but is that an official Sony US retailer? Others mention eBay and someone mentioned a store in the mall (DC I think?), etc. I understand Amazon merchants could be from UK or in general outside of US, the same with ebay. So, are there any official US stores that sell it? And for those who bought it in US, where you able to contact Sony support (in US) to answer your questions?

Yes mine came from a company in NY called TECH1 and it came in official Sony packaging and everything.....definitely an official watch. The US customer service has been able to help me with a few questions on the watch.....I love it

Amazon listed as 2-4 weeks and the other companies listed on Amazon are not Authorized Dealers. I checked. So I found it on Newegg. They were in stocked and shipped next day. Love the watch but I wish there were more apps. Where's the weather app and no watch faces.

Hi guys, if I buy the watch from Amazon.co.uk with metal strap, can I get support from Sony USA under warranty terms? Does Sony have international warranty for their products? Thanks!

newegg all the way. originally ordered from mobile fun, but after they backordered it for two weeks despite them having it listed as in stock and ready to ship, i cancelled and called newegg. the girl said they had about 76 in stock so i ordered it from them. 199 +25 for overnight shipping. ordered it friday and got it on monday.. ive had the watch for about week and i love it, even though the amount of apps is pretty depressing. give me a music widget and a battery percentage icon, and ill be good for a while. :good:

Sony.com has both models in stock now for $199.99/$219.99. I just placed my order. There appears to be a glitch right now that allows you to get the 3 year replacement/accidental damage plan for free! Add the watch to the cart, but do not select a warranty plan. Edit the warranty plan within the card and for some reason the 3-year plan is $0. I used Chrome, if that matters....

MobileFun is bad news. I ordered from them and wasn't even given a confirmation email. Very poor communication and their US phone number just rings. I had to get my credit card company involved to cancel my order. They said it was in stock when I ordered (Oct 15th) and wouldn't give me any further information on shipment or backorder status.

I already won a $129 earbuds for free so I think I will wait for the Watch Active 2 pre-order. I thought they said you get the wireless charging pad with pre-order. The 44mm for $299 looks Bad A$$.

Took a while but I opted for the active. I doubt they'll add the active 2 on the available kits or individual options.

You can use this credit for anything on samsung.com, so if you want to get the active 2 I would cancel your order and wait until it comes out. However it will be much more expensive, about $300.
I was going to wait and use my credit for the active2, mainly for the stress/ s-health monitoring functions since the sensor was removed on the new note, but I got a galaxy fit for almost nothing with my samsung rewards points from samsung pay instead. (I already have an Apple watch S4 and Gear S3 frontier lol)

Yea ivthought about waiting for it but dont wanna pay extra money for it. I have a gear s3 that's all beat up but works but like the screen res on the active. Basically got for under $20 bucks with gift cards and the sammy promo.
Now I'll have an extra one when the other dies.

What I did soon as I got my phone(8/21) went into shop app and registered for credit. Email said allow 6-8 weeks. Turn around was actually less than a week since I got credit email yesterday afternoon.

Dont know why you thought 6-8weeks lol...
Samsung always says that but normally delivers within a week or two.
Same happen with all my promos.
Watch, vr, charger etc...
And got mines yesterday used it for the ear buds and battery.
Was going to use it for the active 2 watch. But with its shipping date being sept 27. I might as well get the free buds then pay full price for the watch later

Sucks u can't get 256 sd card with this.

I pre-ordered through Best Buy [Verizon] (that experience was terrible, btw). I registered and submitted on Sunday and got approved yesterday. Delivery should not take more than a day to process since they should only need to review your proof of purchase. It's just digital credit from Samsung.

Shipping date March 4th. Haven’t got the confirmation email yet tho.

My website isn't working and keeps erroring. I also am not getting the additional $35 dollars, maybe I need to wait for an email tomorrow to get that.

Shop Samsung app kept hanging. Tried for about 15 minutes on app and website. Finally got through on the website.

Got through on website and ordered. However, I didn't see my additional $35 for pre-preordering. Guess I'll have to ask about that later.

I like my S-Pen but I also like high touch refresh. Plus the S20 is an unlocked version, my note 10+ is Verizon. Hopefully some full reviews come out soon.

I would get the note10+ 5g for tmo if I got one because it is shockingly wider than the s20 ultra. I have how they are making the phones longer to inflate the screen size specs.

Just preordered S20 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 2, and traded in my Note 10+, paid $845 for all. Used the $200 credit for the watch.

I always stay away from chrome when placing a pre order. I don’t know why chrome always sucks during pre order. Maybe too many connections from same browsers.

Screens are same width, along with more usable width with slightly less curve on s20ultra. Pretty much a wash. I do agree that a wider phone, back to 18:9 would be nice.

I placed my order for othe ATT 128GB Ultra - got the 200 credit to buy ear buds - and after I completed the order received an email confirming my order and another email with the $35 credit which I can use on Samsung Shopping....that email said somehting like they noticed it didn't offer it to me when I placed my order so they wanted to make sure I received it.

I was confused by the discount as well, but I got $200 + $35 from the accessories page.

You don't get the $35 on the ultra, which is dumb.

Not for the ultra. It's excluded. I'm contacting them now to find out for sure

You had to use the reservation link to get the $35. They gave me the credit after the fact because I didn't order from the reservation link.
