Hi,
I've ordered a dbrand black leather skin for my white 5, can anyone point me in the direction of a bumper that's only around the edge, in other words doesn't cover the back.
It's just to protect the corners from a drop and the screen from sliding scratches.
I've got a cheap bumper that covers the back also, I could modify but it'll look rough for sure.
Cheers.

this thread was on the same page as the new thread you made, lots of talk about edge only bumpers
Thanks

Hi everyone
I've been looking online for ages now, with no avail!
Does anyone know of/have a good case that protects the front of the S3 when placed face down?
So it has a bezel that sticks out further than the phones screen so if it's dropped, it lands on the case rather than the glass.
Thank you!
Niall
Many of the TPU cases (Diztronic and Cimo are two I own) have the added lip so when you have your S3 face down, the case makes contact with the surface not the screen.

they have clear (i own this one), black, and pebble blue.

I bought that back before i got GIANT 4200MaH Hyperion battery, and it is great.. if you want a silicone (feels more like rubber.) case.
It gave me the grip i was lacking, and had a generous lip for screen protection. (and is nice and cheap.)
I 'm using this one.

I read that the black (and possibly white) version of the nexus 5 has a way of gathering dust and debris around the lip of the screen when it meets the edges. My question is does the official bumper case cover it so this doesn't happen? Does the lip of the bumper cover the lint magnet lip of screen?
Most cases that I have tried, do. I believe the official case would too. It's grossly overpriced, but I haven't heard too many bad things about it other than price, and availability.
Right now I have a huge amzer case on mine. I have a couple other tpu cases but, my hands get sweaty this time of month and they get disgusting and slippery. I was wondering if a bumper case+ carbon fiber skin on the back would be enough protection? I already have a tempered glass protector on the front

90% of the time when I drop my phone, it lands on a corner or side, ergo the bumpers usability. The glass screen protectors will protect against scratches from sand, but not much force. Honestly I like having the back so that the lens doesn't get scratched when I put the phone down on a table.

Hey guys!
Who will be getting some?!
As of this moment there is only Slickwraps that have the skins for OnePlus 2.
Link: https://slickwraps.com/devices/phones/android/oneplus-2.html
I will add the link to Dbrand as soon there will be OnePlus 2 skins available.
So what will you be getting?!
I've had only Dbrand skins on my phones, so far! They are very precise and high quality. But I am probably going with the Slickwraps for this phone, because Dbrand never includes the side wraps, and I want to protect the frame of the phone!
So what are your thoughts on this?
And please share the photos, if and when you'll have it!
Cheers
I'm getting a sample from them in the mail any day now, I can try to make some decent pictures if you'd like.
Yes, please do! I am always looking for the best option to protect my investments, I've had Diztronic TPU and Orzly tempered glass on my OnePlus One, but I've got so much dust on the edges that I've ended up scratching my screen..
So this time around I am planing to buy wraps for the back, camera and the sides and put my phone in a pouch, as I do not drop my phone, but I am highly sensitive about scratches..
If anyone is interested in a pouch I will buy it from here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Begoos This are very high quality made pouches!
Just ordered the gun metal slick wrap. I wonder how well it will stay on the sandstone back?

I think its similar to the OPO back, so it should stay on pretty good. I am not planing to cover the back thou. I am interested to wrap the sides.. As the back is easy to exchange, and I don't want to damage the metal.. I would probably go with the Dbrand, if I would cover the back only. And that's only because I've had absolutely no problems with any of my skins from them, also the shipping was very fast!
I hope to see some pics, when you get it!
Hi everybody,
Today I'm loocking for a dbrand skin for Pixel 2xl Panda.
I would like to protect him with panda skin from Dbrand and i'm loocking for some feedback about the durability of this skin and eventually some tips for a clear case to show it

It's good stuff, I had it on my moto z. As far as clear cases, the spigen liquid crystal is what I have on my panda right now. It's good but it discolored after a while.

Yeah I read that TPU turn yellow after week/months.
So I would like a bumper (maybe rhino) but I want a protection to cover the back of the Pixel 2xl. It's a very sensitive material.
I've been rockin a dbrand skin & grip since dbrand released them.... got sucked in from all the advertising on LTT. But I've gotta say they're both great & worth the price! Well, sorta...
So the original grip case you had to order off indiegogo, I don't think it's available any more. But after a little more than a year of use the harden plastic around the rubberized power button has broken. The case is still functional and held together but the rubberized button. The hard rubberized corners and grip have worn soft and rounded. Yes, I use my phone a lot especially the double press power for the camera. It was expensive for a bumper type case, but was worth it IMO. I've dropped this phone more times than I'd care to admit and not a mark on it, even landing screen first. I'm happy with the year and a bit I've gotten from this case and would order another.
The grip case came with a back skin, I had to RMA my original 2 XL because of a camera issue and ordered a replacement skin while it was in for RMA. When you order the back skin they actually send you two skins. One is just the back and ends at the "edge". The second will wrap around the sides. I had ordered a matching front skin as well. The skin can be challenging to line up and apply, but you can peel it off and reapply if its not 100%. I may just have sucked at applying the wrap around skin, but I couldn't get the seams to line up perfectly, no matter how hard I tried (had the same problem with the skin for my iPad mini 4) . Since I had the grip case, I just applied the back only skin and have been happy with that. As for the front skin, I think because of the slight curve to the screen it never adhered properly, even after a bit of heat with a hairdryer to get it to take the shape, and eventually peeled off. There also isn't much material, so not worth it IMO.
I'd definitely buy their cases again but would only get the back skins.
