[Q] JellyTime 4.2 R11 - Video mode focus not working? - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear XDA members,
After a month of struggling with this problem (since I use the camera quite a lot) I'm looking for a way to solve it. I must say I did a search before opening this thread and asking this question.
Device: HD Desire HD
ROM: JellyTime 4.2 R11
So the problem in short:
When I switch the camera to video recording mode, the focus function simply disappears. No autofocus, no 'touch to focus'...So I always need to go back to photo mode, focus where I want then switch back to video mode...It's very annoying. How can I fix it?
(I wanted to post this question to the corresponding JellyTime thread, but it requires 10 posts so I had to do it here)
Thanks very much in advance!

[BUG] Widescreen Video Rec Bug

Hi,
Since I am a new member I don't have the rights to post into the DEV forum. Anyways.. I just installed RC1 and I found a bug. Can one of you please paste this into the CM7 thread?
Bug : While shooting a video in widescreen mode the flash does not turn on. Also, while shooting in normal mode the flash does turn on but if you hit back button the flashlight stays on.

[Q] HD record on with CM7

First of all, sorry about my bad english...
Well, I read in the CyanogenMod7 thread someone haven't any issues with his camera. I can't record in HD. What did I do wrong? (Besides write in english)
I can't ask there because I'm a low level user I read a lot, but don't write.
THX
I cant get camera works well. Try some nightly build and still "choppy"
HD record never works for me (RED LENS, i think)

[Q] ARHD v 7.0.0.0 Camera Problems

Hi all,
Just installed Android Revolution HD version 7.0.0.0 and now the camera isn't working properly:
When the photo is taken, there is no "confirmation" with the small animation that shows the picture zooming out in the corner.
When you try to watch videos the phone reboots or / video does not appear in the camera folder list.
I tried installing the stock version again, but the camera problems are still there. Could this be because of an edited Camera.apk file? Could it be one of the tweaks in the installation screen? (writeback , etc) ? I also installed again without the tweaks but the problems are still there.
I now installed Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_7.1.0 and the camera seems to work better but when I have low battery neither the camera or the video work, the buttons are disabled and it takes no pictures. Is this a tweak or a bug?
Any help very appreciated.
Probably best to ask the questioning the ARHD thread
Thanks, I would, but you are not allowed to post in the HTC development forum. Is there some specific thread on the ARHD in some other section of the forum?

CyanogenMod10 Alpha 9 - Series of images and taking images while filming

Hello together,
I installed the CM10.a9 a few weeks ago on my HTC One X and till now I was missing / unable to find two functions.
The first thing is, that you normally can take pictures while recording movies (both in HD), but I could not figure out, how to do this in this particular mod. The second problem is, that I didn't found a way taking multiple pictures with just one click. I know that I was able to do this under the original firmware with just holding the button.
Are these features not implemented yet or am I just too blind to find the functions?
Kind regards,
NyphoX.
PS: Sorry for my bad english.
Those features aren't present in the stock cm camera; you'll need to use an alternative camera app if you want those functions. LGcamera allows you to take photos while filming, and also has a burst mode (although you have to select that mode rather than just hold the shutter button to automatically activate). I'm sure other camera apps will give you similar functionality, I don't really use either function so I've not looked to much into it.
Thanks for the quick reply, I think I have to look for a good camera app now.
Is there a plan to implement those features in the future or will it be not integrated in the CM-Camera app?

[Q] Find 7a focus changing constantly while shooting video?

Hi all,
I finally have a stable build of OmniRom running on my 7A. It's been great but when I shoot video with the default gapps camera, the camera continuously seems to be "chasing focus". If I'm filming even a subject that is not moving relative to the camera, it goes in and out of focus. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I tried searching but can't find anything.
Thanks.
