So I did the KingoApp, and it worked great, until I restarted...
Now the screen is blank. No signs of turning on.
Please help !
(No logo, nothing, nothing turns on)
I tried Power + Up + Home
Power + Up
Power + Down
Power + Down + Home
Power + Home
It's fully charged...
How do I remove the battery and put it back on? Sometimes that fixes my Galaxy S3 issue.
And also, is it bricked? I thought bricked devices you can still see something light up on the screen... Mine is pitch dark, nothing happens. Almost seemed like the restart instantly drained my battery from 80%...

can you go to the download mode?
use this method,
hold power button+menu button+volume down
if you could, download the stock rom for your device on Samsung firmware sites, then flash it through Odin

So, i tried to repartition my Xperia S and all went well i installed a rom and gapps, and after i rebooted the phone went off and it doesn't turn on anymore, i tried charging it but after 12 hours of charging the red led is on again, there are no vibrations i can't power it on, can't do a hard reset (holding power button and volume up key) also can't connect to PC, when I connect it via USB the red led goes on again, i tried to connect it in fastboot/flashboot but it's the same thing again the red led goes on like it's charging
PLS HELP. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO BRING BACK TO LIFE MY XPERIA S?
Seems like no. You may try to manually remove battery and let it a bit rest for 15-20 min but I'm not sure if it helps. Have you held your power+volume up\down buttons long enough?
Soft brick tips - and check this

UPDATE: when the phone is connected to the PC via USB, after holding power button + volume up + volume down button the sony logo comes on, and the led goes off .. but this last for about 20 sec and the screen goes off again. I tried to go into recovery when the sony logo comes on but no luck there

Hi, is there any way to force a shut down, I have the google Pixel XL went to restart it as it couldnt find any wifi and now it stuck on powering off, tried holding power button, power button and volume etc, then it pops up power off or restart but the screen is unresponsive, hit power button again and comes pack up as Power off , Shutting down, being like that for 1 hour so far, i expect i will have to wait till it runs out of Battery??? Removal batteries are so much easier.......

Cheers, i was only holding it down for say 10 seconds and nothing was happening, all good now held down for 20 and its restarted (mind u its bloody hot though) now its back to same issue as before trying to connect to WIFI, i have WIFI turned off and the blue line still going through and searching for network, this is what it was doing before i had the power off issue, now wont power off, (have to do what u said each time) its something to do with the WIFI making it get stuck......
Today I was taking some photos and the whole phone suddenly froze and shut down itself.
I tried to turn it on with the power button, power + volume down, power + volume down + volume up, power + volume up to no avail.
When I plug it into the wall charger the LED blinks orange, now already for 3 hours and continues to do so without any signs of life. I tried again all the combinations of buttons and nothing happens, the LED just blinks into infinity. No images are shown on the screen.
What could be wrong, and can I do anything to bring it back to life, or is the only option that's left to take it to the customer service?
The phone still has the original warranty and is NOT rooted or tampered with in any way, absolutely no changes made on the hardware or the software.
Thank you for your help!
Hi,
My Pixel 6 Pro screen went black, but I can still hear and feel that the phone is working. I used the volume up + power button to reboot it and now I touch the phone and I feel it vibrate as it's registering the touches. I also see at the bottom of the screen some white stripes flashing. It seems that the screen is damaged and I need a replacement screen.
Now my issue is that I can't seem to turn it off. As the screen is black, the only way to shut it down would be with hardware keys. But up until now, I haven't been able to figure out a way to turn the phone off.
Does anyone know how I can turn of the phone?
To replace the screen, obviously I need to turn it off first...
Usually long pressing the power button, but it may be different. As long as it gets fixed within a month or so it you can let it discharge until it auto shuts down. If more than a year old replacing the battery when repaired is a good idea anyway...
I tried long pressing the power button with no luck.
I tried volume down + power button for 20 seconds, didn't work either.
I tried volume up + power button for 20 seconds, this I think reboots the phone.

Power button only might take 20 or so seconds.
Otherwise just like it sit until repaired.
Power button + vol up + vol down. Keep holding down once you feel the phone vibrate. Takes you to the bootloader screen
The battery died.. so that's good!
Thanks anyways
