Hit guys,
i have a problem
I have a ONE X from cid Vodap_102.
I have downloader both 1.29 and 2.17 ruu for going back to stock but when i try it says error on bootloader.
I think the problem is that i have 1.36
Vodafone didn't release a RUU for 3.14 so i don't know how to do.
Any advice? Have you got some clean backup to sent to me? (Vodap 102 cid)

hi there!
my phone is not rooted. i tried to upgrade firmware OTA. and its on bootloop.
here is the detail below
Hboot 1.33
radio 2.1204.135.20
version 3.14.0.0
cid: htc__023
which bootimage i need to flash or which RUU i need to flash to bring phone back to life. thank you in advance
If it is not booting at all you could try to run a RUU. Run this command:
fastboot getvar version-main
Post the output here. You need the correct version or it will fail.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
The ver is 3.14.0.0
And also pls check my phone dtails. In my question above.
Thank you
Upgrade your firmware to 3.17 Hboot 1.39 and then download a nandroid backup of HTC__023... and restore it...
I don't think RUU is available for you. I have the same CID HTC__023 and nand backup is of main-version 3.17
Firmware with Hboot 1.39: http://www.androidrevolution.nl/downloader/download.php?file=3.17.728.1.zip
nandroid backup : http://d-h.st/7oA
Thank you. Ill try this and reply you back.

My hboot is 1.33 and also i dont want to unlock bootloader. and i dont want to root my phone either. i just want my phone back to life. thank you
I flashed CyanogenMod version 10.1.2 endeavoru. After using for awhile I decided I wanted to go back to the stock rom with the idea of being able to OTA if an update is released.
Unfortunately I didn't have the backup to go back to, when I tried the correct RUU it gives an error message 140 stating, basically the bootloader version is newer on the phone, so I tried to use a stock Nandroid from the collection that was uploaded by BugsyLawson and this seems to restore but then when the phone loads up the hard buttons seem to work but the touch screen isn't responsive, any help would be appreciated or even a point in the right direction, as I can't find anything from searching.
Model number: HTC One X

Fastboot getvar version-main
That number will tell you the exact number of nandroid backup you need !
You probably restored an older ics nandroid backup while you have the updated touchpanel drivers. So that's probably why touch doesn't work.
So get the main version and check for that nandroid. Flash the boot.img from the backup, make a full wipe and restore the nandroid.

ı have already red this before.
no 4.18.401.2 htc M__27 bac up included.
Do this :
Download any 3.20.401 nandroid backup. Restore it and flash back the 3.20 stock recovery after that. Then reboot the phone and do all OTA updates via the settings-software update menu. After that you can relock the bootloader if you wish. The official ota will make the cid correct again.
Hi
In past I updated my one x from nandroid backup 3.14.111.27 to 4.2.2. Now I restore to nandroid but touch screen disabled.
note: I can install viperx rom in base of 4.1.1 .it works clean.
note: hboot changes from 1.39 to 1.72
unlocked bootloader
s-on
cid: t-mob101
mid: pj4610000
I can't find 4.1.1 or 4.2.2 RUU or nandroid for hboot 1.72 and no way to downgrade hboot to 1.39
Is any solution?

You can't downgrade your hboot if you are not S-OFF. You are not!
Tuch not working on older stock then like 3.14 and older on 3.18 and 3.20 I think is working.
Take newer nandroid

I've figured out the problem! (Y)
1. Installed Twrp Recovery
2.Mounted SD Card
3.Placed Cyanogen 9 ICS ROM in SDcard
4.Installed Cyanogen from recovey
Now how I can update my Hboot version from 1.12 to 1.29 or above? As I'm not able to find Jellybean RUU for my CID (Bstar301 SPAIN).
