Does the nexus 7 on kitkat not get the camera button on the lockscreen?

There is a rotation lock button in the notification area for the Nexus 7. Read: http://support.google.com/nexus/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2642397. Last entry under Notifications.
Is there a simple mod to bring this rotation lock button for use on Galaxy Nexus too?

Thanks but I was wondering if I can mod the original lockscreen. This app. Is not smooth like the original lockscreen.
Try galaxy S4 lockscreen app it has blood effect too and u can use 5 shortcuts:thumbup:

Hello, I'm new to the nexus 7. I've just sideloaded 4.4 kitkat to the n7.
The problem(?) I have is that I don't see the camera icon on the lockscreen.
Is that normal or is the a setting for that?
I don't have it either. I believe it's like that on the Nexus 5.

Can I change my sense 5 lockscreen with stock android one? If it is possible, can someone guide me? (I don't like using apps on the playstore as lockscreen because sometimes it flickers the home screen before loading the lockscreen app itself)

Flash a custom rom of your choice. If you only want the AOSP lock screen and still want the sense launcher than install ViperX but if you want a AOSP lock screen with a AOSP based launcher than you can either go for desense rom or if you want all pure AOSP than go for a AOSP rom
