[Q] cyanogenmod installer problems - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm not sure if this has been posted already but I just used the cyanogenmod installer on my sprint note 2, and now I've noticed that every time I try to use my nav (scout or google maps) it states that there is little to no network. I am using it in the same places I've used it before where I had no issues before. Is there anyone having the same problem or can help me?

[Q] GPS making my cell phone restart???

Can someone please help me? My gps works but after 5 - 10 minutes my cell phone just restarts. I tried many different roms even CM7 but i dont get it why it restarts only when I use gps. No apps or anything big is running in the background. Any help will be helpful thanks in advance.
I've had the same issue, mostly when using MIUI, I've installed the new GPS driver (found in the CM7 thread) and haven't had problems since.

Searching for GPS

Hello everyone,
I just bought my Note 2 last week and I love everything about it except that I've been having this problem with the GPS. I try to use the navigation app and keep having a Searching for GPS message. I know how the app is supposed to work because I came from a Galaxy S3.
I've been looking around on the Internet and searching forums but it doesn't seem like anyone else is experiencing my problem? The last thing post I've seen regarding this problem around the net is on a Galaxy S2.
My Note 2 is a unlocked and rooted Telus phone with a Fido sim card. Like I said everything runs great! Even the battery life is amazing. It's like night and day compared to the S3.
I am hoping to find a solution to the problem, otherwise I will try to flash to the N7105 firmware and hope for the best.

If anyone is wondering or going through the same problem, I managed to solve this problem myself by downloading an app called GPS Status. It seems that it basically automatically starts and locks on to a GPS location for me every time I use an app that requires GPS. I didn't work for me yesterday when I downloaded this app but there was an update to this app today and GPS started working.
I won't be flashing to the N7105 firmware anymore because my issue have been resolved...and I don't know how to flash a modem. I will definitely do it if the FM radio is somehow able to be enabled though.
I'm glad you seemed to have solved your problem. I was very hesitant about upgrading to the Note II, as my Note I had terrible issues with GPS fixes. I use navigation on my phone all the time, and I can't afford to get "No GPS" errors the vast majority of the time, despite the fact I live in a very heavily covered 4G LTE area. But, my Note IIs GPS has been flawless. So happy to have functioning GPS.

[Q] Google servers cannot be reached on 3g - Cyanogenmod 10.2

I apologize if this issue has been addressed before, but I've searched and searched and found nothing.
I'm running CyanogenMod version 10.2, installed with the new installer. When I'm on wifi or 4G, everything works as expected. When I am on 3G, however, I lose the ability to connect to google. This includes:
Google Now
Google voice search
google.com in a browser
Play Store
As I mentioned before, I can use all of these services as well as connect to google.com if I am connected to wifi or on 4G. I have had this problem with every version of CM I've used over the past year or so, and I've never found anyone else who has run into it. I'm at my wit's end and I have no idea what to do. Every time I've tried to run CM on this phone, I've run into this issue and I've always reverted back to touchwiz.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If you have any suggestions at all, please let me know!
Thank you!

[Q] CM 12.1 Dialer Will Not Hang Up Calls

I installed CM12.1 on my d851 and I cannot disconnect calls. I tap the red button to hang up and the phone app hangs on "hanging up" but does not actually disconnect. Has anyone successfully gotten the CM12.1 dialer to work on the T-Mobile G3?
I have the same issue when I install other custom roms based on CM.
Any help would be appreciated.
Re: dialer will not hang up
Hi,
Did you ever work this out as I'm also having issues with CM
12.1 not hanging up on galaxy s3 Verizon.
Thanks
David
Having the same issue as well 2 i605 on cm 12.1 just switched from rip off VZW to T-Mobile and this bug started. Phones worked fine on Verizon... Can someone please get this fixed?
i don't have a solution for cm12.1 but maybe if i share the (quick) solution that was used in cm11, some smart person here can figure it out--hopefully, once and for all.
in cm11, all you had to do was add a single character to a field in build.prop, which was something like:
ro.telephony.ril.v3=newDriverCall
to get:
ro.telephony.ril.v3=newDriverCallU
in cm12.1, the rom is presumably already shipped with the correct settings:
ro.telephony.ril.config=newDriverCallU,newDialCode
but does not work (for those of us using sph-720, especially). someone who understands android can maybe port the old (and simple) fix to the new one(?)
also, i appreciate the work guys do to get us these builds, but it'd be nice not to reintroduce big issues like these as it basically forces a potential user not use the rom, which then wastes the hard work of porting it to a particular device in the first place. i can live without data since i use wifi heavily, but not being able to receive calls is a no-no.

Unstable display

Apologies if I'm not asking this in the correct way or correct place.
I'm running the lineage 18.0 build dated 22/10 on a Samsung Galaxy S5 mobile phone.
Last month I installed Here WeGo maps app so I could use it as a Sat Nav and it initially worked OK when I trialled it. However when I tried to use it in earnest, I found that parts of the display are unstable and garbled. I have tried reinstalling it twice, but the problem remains. All the other apps on my phone work perfectly.
Has anyone any idea whether this is a fault in my phone, the Lineage OS or the Here WeGo App and if it is fixable?
