Need help from C++ Developer who has Artemis

I started a project that provide FM Radio API for HTC phones (see my signature). Now we have a few developers are writing powerful FM radio player that can show station name, radio text etc and a FM RDS based TMC driver has been developed that make your navigation system receives traffic information for free.
I got a few requests from Artemis owner that make my driver support Artemis.
mhemart provides extracted binaries to me so I did some reverse engineering work and found a list of FM radio functions.
But it is too difficult to do more work without a device.
So if you are a VC++ developer and have an HTC Artemis, would you like to help me on this project? I can give you source code and explain how to do reverse engineering against your phone.
Please send Private Message with your email address so that I can send you details.
Thanks
I can try
Forgot saying that you should have IDA pro installed in order to disassemble binaries.
don't worry if you dont know ARM assembly. I will tell you how to use it.

Hi.
I just wanted to bring this request from flywhc up again.
This is such a great project and he needs help from an VC++ developer to port it to our Artemis.
Is there really nobody out there who is able to help him???
Regards,
John
PS: I am not a VC++ developer, otherwise I would help you immediately, flywhc.
Hi flywhc,
How much a developper in C++ do you need to be to help you? I have very basic knowledge of C++ programming and some knowledge of other languages ( mostly C and some script languages ). But i'm great at reading documents, learning and i have an Artemis
I'm willing to help even though i don't think that i'm best person to do so. It's just a pitty that nobody else is proposing to help you because it's a great project and it could lead us to be able to use TMC on our phones.
I have basic knowledge about asm and c. If you want I can help you in free time.
msn (not email): [email protected]
Please send me your email address by using Private Message so I can send you source code etc.
Sorry I can't use MSN messenger.
I sent you a PM.

!!! Rosetta Stone for Windows Mobile !!!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to have “Rosetta Stone” the language learning software running on HTC Rhodium: Touch Pro2, Tilt 2. I am currently trying to learn Tagalog spoken in the Philippines. I would be very thankful if someone can help me out on this. I am never home since I am a part time student and working full time so this would help me out greatly. If someone can help me out I would be very thankful and as a promise I will buy you a drink
I have tried converting software to convert language files (but I don’t know where to ever start)
I have searched online but majority of the post were at least 2 year old and did not help at all.
I have Rosetta stone on my PC which downloaded form torrents and it is installed but I have to use Power ISO. To mount the language CD and then study.
Also I am a noob therefore detail guide would be greatly appreciated thank you very much.
Someone please help me out!!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unless the company has released a mobile version of the ap.... nope. You're stuck learning on your PC or laptop.

You cant just convert an .exe to a.cab fine and pop it in the phone and have it run. You would basically have to rewrite an entire new program.
Do a GOOGLE for Rosetta Stone WM there are lots of options out there on other forums that cannot be posted on this forum

you can convert the downloaded torrent files to mp4 using "videora htc touch pro2 converter"...i have some p90x videos on my tp2...videora converts everything...lol...best of all its free...you may want to convert it while you sleep cause it can be a little slow, depending on the quality you select...
i know this isn't really what you meant but couldn't you run it through remote desktop? i think there a way to have the sound come out through the device speakers.

There is a slight problem with your solution: rosetta stone isn't videos, it's interactive software so you can't just convert it and make it smaller. I think the best solution is just to use RDC. If you tried to put language cds on your phone it would slow to a crawl if not more trying to read the large files.
Thx Everyone!!
Thank you everyone but i guss i have no option than to sit on my PC and study which is like 20 to 30 min a day . I would have been very helpfull since i spend 2 to 3 traveling each day. If anyone figus out anyway please let me know and i would be very thankfull.

Can you please tell me where I can get this ...thank you
I don't think the dude knew what he was talking about. I have been longing for a mobile version of Rosetta Stone forever.
Can't one install Linux or something on the phone and then run the app from there?
Tried a session through remote desktop, only problem is that Rosetta Stone in full-screen wasn't really full-screen, wrong aspect ratio and hence a significant part of the right screen on my phone went unused. I couldn't get speech recognition to work either. Anyone have an idea on how to enable a bluetooth microphone to send audio to the pc from the phone remotely?
adjust remote desktop setting to have it adjust the screen size tot he size fo your phone screen. you can also adjust the color quality there.
Could be. I still need to know how to map my microphone to the remote session and then have Rosetta Stone use the microphone for its own purposes.
since when does Rosetta Stone use a microphone? do you mean speakers?
since it exist!

The problem is that the phone in android is unable to load the wifi driver, so wifi (and also bluetooth) cannot be used.
Here on xda there are the best developers in the world so i want to ask if someone knows how to make it.
Thx to all the people who will answer.
Greetings from italy

Erik is working on that. And he's from modaco ;-P
HI votickest.
First of all thx a lot to you for all the work you are doing for i8000 cause your works sure help erickas in working for b7610.
I know that he is from modaco, but i feel a bit "guilty" just taking his work without helping, so i've decided to open this thread here on xda with the hope that somebody could help me in helping him.
If i can i really want to help him in his work but unfortunatly i have no linux skills so i have to search for helpers in the web.
I'm still hoping to find something useful for him.
Anyway votickest, do you know something about erickas efforts to make wifi works on b7610?
Do you know if he is close to the solution?
Thx in advance and once again greetings from italy

Haven't spoken with him last time (we both are busy). Just ask him.
BTW. We haven't found developers help neither here or modaco or elsewhere, so this thread will be rather useless...
I wish i could help, i really like to make things like these but unfortunatly i don't have the skill needed
