Did you try the update yourself? I tried the official update, but it fails because it checks if you have the official recovery image. I have EOS CWM recovery, so it fails.
I thought about editing this script, but am not sure if all works..

have you try my file ?
official update can be done only in stok xoom. if you have some mod (CWM ... ) it fail. (there is a lot of tread on this)

I know the official will not work because of the check on the recovery version installed.
I'm not going to try it just like that, did you use your own script? Did it work or not?

Worked for me using EOS (CWM based) Recovery 6 (Touch) running Codename Android 3.1.1.

C'mon... You're not downgrade, there would be no reason to increase just numbers from Motorola so don't worry about...I even had 05 and upgraded to 07... Still have to taste all of its better work Btw I lost my 3G Internet connection LOL that's not 07P issue... Still had this problem after flashing EOS Everest 104

Update did not work using Team EOS CWM R6 (not touch), got status error 6 and 7.
Upgraded Recovery CWM Rogue Touch Recovery v1.5.0 version and the update worked perfectly.

Installation of AOKP:
1. Flash CWM recovery with Odin as PDA.
2. After you boot into recovery backup your current rom in case you want to go back (later you can use the Restore option)
3. After you've made your backup go to 'mounts and storage' and format the following
system
data
cache
4. Install zip from sdcard -> latest build from here (use this method to install this rom)
5. Install zip from sdcard -> gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
6. Reboot!
Updating from previous nightlies:
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Install .zip from sdcard
3. Reboot
No wiping required.

Great, this forum was dead with no cyanogenmod and aokp! But now it is back to life! I have been monitoring this section for a while although I don't own this device and can't buy this device either! Anyways cheers to the developer of this rom!

set_perms are at the end after /system is flashed
Did you try booting?
Can someone post the error message?

which CWM version your' linking to? didn't see a working one till this moment.... besides to my personal experience on the I9505 (!) right now TWRP is working much more better...

I'm only basing this on reports. The version I'm linking to is one built by me.
Use whichever works for you. If you see a set_perm error, try to boot anyway and let me know if it works! Screenshots appreciated.

Flashed again - same error, but phone is booting!
I didn't install gapps. So tell me which logs you want.

no permission to get su in adb - in superuser settings i checked app+adb
/edit2
flashed again and after flashing cwm asked me to fix root. Now I have su in adb shell.

I just need the error message you got in CWM when flashing.
So the build is fine it works?
Can you make some shots? Try out basic features?

Don't works with my device.
But your CM10.1 is quite nice!

Basic features seems to be ok. Phone calls, wlan on/off, bluetooth is ok. Also the problem with no voice after connecting the bt-headset with this build. No NFC.
I'm sure I saw 4G ... now I can only connect to 3G or edge. And after a short time, the data connection drops totally away.

Seems to be a problem with the LTE driver. When I switch to GSM/WCDMA I have a data connection. After checking LTE/GSM/WCDMA the connection gets lost (when switching to 4G I think)

Hello Guys,
After Installing A Custom ROM Some Indian Fonts(Especially TAMIL) wont render Correctly..

The Letters would be misplaced and Unreadable...
..

After some research I've found it is because of libskia.so and libskiagl.so ....
..
..
So I've made a flashable zip which contains those lib Files from an Indian font supported ROM ...
..
..
------------------Instructions---------------------
1.)Download the File From below Link
2.)Enter into CWM
3.)Mount /System
4.)Install the zip
-OR-
1.)Extract the zip
2.)open system and then lib
3.)copy the two files and paste it in /system/lib (with system mounted RW)
4.)Reboot

I tried in CM 7.2 bieltv kernel in AOSP. It is not booting.

Hmm, I wish I had read the second page of the thread also. I would have known this fix does not work on CM and not got into trouble.
I have a Galaxy Nexus
Product name : tuna
variant : Maguro 16gb
hw version 5
bootloader version : primemd04
baseband version: I9250XXLJ1
Originally it had Jellybean and I had rooted and flashed with Cyanogen Mod.
Today, using ES File Explorer and gaining SU access, I copied the two files in the LIB directory and re-booted.
Now, my phone doesn't boot.
Tried Recovery Mode. Doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Status 7 error, when flashing any custom rom

I have stock rom android 4.4.2 on my galaxy mini s4. I have flashed a custom recovery CWM. and my phone is rooted. When i try to flash custom rom like CM13. or any other rom it gives a status 7 error and stops flashing the rom. Can someone provide me with a solution?

I have installed allready TWRP recovery. version = recovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-serranoltexx.tar.md5
But still no good, getting the same error 7. Any other Solutions?

I have flashed the recovery that you said it will work. But again it gives the same error. I am on stock android 4.4.2. Could that be the reason why it does not work?

Do you wipe in the correct way? Wipe data, system, cache? And not, this is not the problem

Are you sure tu be on twrp recovery? Do you see the logo "twrqp" when you boot into reocovery? Sorry for the questions but when you said me the file name you wrote ".md5" and if i m correct you can' t flash an md5 file, you can flash only files that ends with ".tar", did you follow the twrp installation? Did you flashed the recovery with odin?

Yes I am sure because it shows the logo TWRP when starting recovery. Yes you cant flash md5 but thats not what i mean. Sorry for bad english. I have installed md5 with odin after flashed twrp as recovery.
One another thing is i have read on xda other threads that it could be de 'Assers lines" in the Updater script. Many people have fixed it like that but I dont know when lines I should erase in the Updater Script of the ending symbol of the Assets lines. Maybe you can help me with editing the Updater Script?

maybe your zip file is corrupted, try downloading again. And its maybe annoying to repeat the same question. but have you done factory wipe?
