[Q] MoDaCo.Switch ? - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I remember reading about the MoDaCo. Switch for GSM versions of the One awhile back. It's an app that allows you to switch between Google Play Edition and Sense roms while sharing a single set of data between them.
Has anyone heard of this working on a CDMA version of the phone?

I think there was a test build over in the Sprint forums.
Sent from my HTC's darkside.

Paul O'Brien (creator of MoDaCo.Switch / and overseas friend) said that he would make it open source and available to anyone who wanted to use it (S4 and HTC One only for now)...its up to the devs to incorporate it

Need more miui

I beleave the Miui rom can be the best rom out there but I hardly see anyone talk about it or talk about working on it for the g2. Is any one in modaco working on this rom yet?

Might want to ask over in Modaco though if you are looking for a version from them?
what so good about miui anyway?
i just don't see it as the best rom or anything
to be honest, i like the sense ui more
I personally think it makes a phone into an iphone wannabe. I specifically bought this phone *because* it wasn't an iphone.

Which ROMs support GSM?

It's great to see so many ROMs out there, but it's nearly impossible to sort through all the threads to see which ones support GSM (particularly since the search here barfs on a search of "GSM"). Could someone kindly mark which of these ROMs have been tested by GSM users, particularly users of the Verizon GSM card that comes w/ them?
Thanks!
I am using the china ota right now. It is fairly stable and it works for gsm as I am using a softbank sim card here in japan.

CM9 Alpha testing for the PrimoC/CDMA...?

I would be willing to run logcats, test installs, and check features for alpha testing, but I am curious to learn more about whether or not HTC has released the source code on the PrimoC yet. If anyone knows...I wud appreciate the help.

No, they haven't.

I am beginning to wonder if this is Virgin Mobile not letting them. If they won't release the source to the cdma but they will for the GSM then perhaps a reverse compile is possible. If the code is similar enough then using the source from the GSM as a base could yield some source.

CDMA CM9 needs custom kernel for audio. That's all I known

So the hardware should be close, but I see that this is true about the audio...will have to keep one eye on HTC for the source...till then I guess its NoN-sEnSe primo-c 1.1.
I don't think it would be Virgin Mobile calling the shots imo. They would lose potential sales whereas HTC will find a different carrier.
Yeah I just checked with a guy I know that works support for htc. He said its scheduled soon. So at least its soon lol. Just wish he cud say when.

really? cause im honestly saying close to the end of august or beginning of september. This is their track record....
I also talked to them about the kernel source for CDMA/Virgin Mobile USA HTC ONE V, they do have plans to release the source however it takes longer for CDMA vs GSM, something to do with the more proprietary nature of CDMA, we've seen this cause delays with AOSP build on CDMA Nexus Devices, so it doesn't surprise me that it's taking longer to release. However in the mean time the hardware differences between GSM and CDMA variants should be minuscule (cellular data being the obvious one) so could we continue making the build without data/sound and just add those when the drivers are available so time isn't wasted on waiting for sources to be released? I would be willing to test.

I already have a thread up for CM9. I am releasing a new one today that has sound working and is on par with the GSM version status.

Yup just found it, like I said over there, I'll risk my phone in testing (joking, I don't actually believe your build will destroy my phone, this isn't my first beta testing rodeo) for the benefit of the Greater android community.

Is anyone working on a Google edition port for our phone? Just curious. Sorry if someone else posted already but I can't find a thread for this subject.

I'd think the official would be a lot smoother cm can be a bit laggy and unrealiable
OK nm the phone is officially out!
I am currently running AOKP on my M919 but would definitely like to compare it to the 'Official' google experience rom.
id rather have the real google edition instead of CM and other community built roms because they always glitch and lag at some point, ive been running cm since cm7 ive tried all and they were never perfect i want to try a real google experience :good:
Everyone does, matter of getting someone to port it ^.^

its got to be possible, i did some research and actually our phone is the closest to the model phone that the GE s4 uses. my thoughts are that we might actually get a port first. i have a feeling the rom itself will boot on our phones. we just need to flash a radio. the kernal should work... the tmobile phone is actually the best of all the usa variants to have and usually tmobile variants hold the most value when selling because they are closest to international versions and have the most bands. i think we might be in luck here.
Yes.. Geeks

[Q] Where can i get cm10 sources for htc one v?

hello all
i look at the list of roms and its amazing how little support for this device there is. Most roms either discontinued or not been updated for a while.
but i have an idea how we can change this.
i have built cyanogenmod for many devices (xperia play, htc wildfire, htc desire) and even thou most of them wasn't released i wanna make something to share and help keep this device going. i am hoping that if this is successful then we would see or devices running android 5 (if that's what version it is)
so on to the question...
Where do i get the sources to build cyanogenmod for our device?
hope you guys can help me, i really want to start working on this device

Well currently there are two devices, the CDMA and GSM. Both have different device trees. Check the Guthubs of Deva like Rukin, Awidawad, Lloir, etc.
