I rooted my ls970 a couple months ago. I have recently unrooted my phone but ran into some issues. One, I did not unfreeze the Sprint bloatware that I had frozen when rooted. My second problem is that I have no recovery at all. I am trying to get my G back to stock but am finding it difficult since I have no recovery. Any thoughts or suggestions?
So my recovery randomly came back. I used LGNPST to get my phone back to stock. Works great!

Im trying to unroot my HTC Evo I got a few days ago. I was fully rooted with damagecontrol ROM and now I want to unroot it. I tried the RUU_Supersonic_1.32.651.1_Radio_1.39.00.04.26_release_171253. I tried running that and it failed plus my phone went into a boot loop. I flashed my phone with Supersonic_1.32.651.1_rooted and it booted completely. I guess thats a good thing.
The question is how do I restore this phone back to factory stock like it came directly out of the box from Sprint?

Find a SHIPPED ROM, and flash it.
You should be good to go from there.
First i ran the phone with stock 4.0.2, and one morning when i woke up(the phone was in the charger) the phone was in a boot loop(turned off when the google letters came up), so I ended up with a factory reset.
Some days later I rooted the phone and installed AOPK rom and installed google apps. 2 days later it got into a boot loop again, but now it booted all the way till where I tyoe in the SIM code, if I did it really fast I could also get past the sim code but just seconds after it booted again. I tried everything from CWM, restore an older backup, wipe cache/data but the phone couldn't find the boot or something like that. So ended up push adb stock rom.
Is this something thats normal? I got 2 friends with the same phone, never had any problem, they both run stock 4.0.2.
I too had a problem with my Gnex, it kept freezing up and switching off, if you are getting this problem on stock and custom roms its likely hardware, so send it off to Sammy, just a heads up but mine was sent off 10.02.12 first time then 2 more finally they said thay would replace it .... That was a month ago, rang them yesterday and they said it would be another week .. what I'm getting at if your insurance could offer a quicker fix I'd go with that
Have you tried flashing google's stock images and going from there?
Yeah, I did flash 4.0.2 stock again from that site, been running it for 2-3 days now.
Hi everybody,
I've had this phone since October and its been rooted and freegeed ever since. Everything was working fine and I was running Chadouming's CM10.1 ROM with no issues. Suddenly, two days ago I woke up to my phone not turning on. I figured the battery must have died (which it did) but even after charging I could never get passed the initial LG Logo and the screen would be black. After advice from IRC, I LGNPST'd back to stock F for Bell and the phone works fine. I've been able to root it successfully, however I just can't freegee it.
Using the old 0.5 freegee script results in a black screen and same with the Play Store application. I cannot enter the bootloader/recovery regardless and I have to LGNPST back to stock for it to work.
Anyway, I've honestly tried everything including a KDZ but I just can't seem yo be able to unlock the bootloader.
Any ideas are welcome, please help out!

OK...I got an under warranty, new replacement LS980 1.5 months before I left Sprint to go with a Nexus 6 on Cricket. After the phone had been sitting my drawer a few months, I got around to rooting it and decided I'd try to put Clouldy 3.3 on it. Upon the installation boot of the ROM I remembered something about using this Sprint phone on AT&T and thought I'd try to install the D800 option to see if it could be done. After all, I'm done with the phone.
Well...that didn't turn out so good. When I try to .tot it back to factory, it won't accept the .tot since the LG Flash tool thinks it's a D800. I found a .dll that was suppose to work with any .tot file, but that didn't work either.
So...now the phone has a pattern of booting into the Cloudy ROM for about 30 seconds then crash into bootlooping twice followed by it starting over again by going into the rom for 30 seconds. Anyone have an idea on how to completely wipe this phone in hopes of getting a factory image back on it?
Thanks!

Hello everyone first time using this forum.
About 6 months ago I purchased a rooted verizon lg g3 from someone off Craig's list. I am in canada. Never had an issue with it the Phone worked amazing up to a month ago. My girlfriend also has a lg g3 and her phone did an automatic update on night. A couple nights after mine did as well which I thought was kind of weird considering it was rooted. Ever since I haven't been able to use the phone out of safe mode. I only get about 2-3 minutes on the phone before it freezes(unless in safe mode, it does not freeze in safe mode). The only thing I'm able to do it restart it from that point on. Can't unlock or get to main screen unless I'm lucky. But even then I can't launch anything. I tried deleting all the apps through the google store while in safe mode but still freezes if I start it normally. I am worried if I factory reset I will lose the root and wont be able to use the phone since its American and I live in canada.
What are my options. Thanks in advance
You probably need to flash a completely stock ROM.
What model is your phone?
If you are rooted you probably have a custom recovery. Try flashing a custom Rom like fulmics.
