Hello guys,
For my current project I will research the relay attacks on NFC payments.
So I decided to post the thread to anyone is interested on this topic.
Any knowledge or guideline on this subject will be appreciated.
You might want to keep that quiet. If you do come up with something, you should talk to Visa/MasterCard PCI/DSS department.

After reading a few posts on the Trinity Forum I started to wonder if we have a common mission here at this meeting place.
I cant remember how I first got to this site but I know I must have been searching for something that I needed and google landed me here. Regardless of how we got here we visit here for some reason - to share our ideas, to offer or find solutions, or just to learn a little - whatever the reason, we all benefit in some way or another. It is in our best interest to preserve the integrity and to enhance the development of of this meeting place. Personally I have not contributed much but I have benefitted and I want those who are yet to come to as well.
I hope we will bear in mind how invaluable the work that others have done is and that we all need something or atleast many of us do. Each day as I log on, I am reminded of this by the large number of posters veiwing these threads and exchanging ideas. This is a spirit worth keeping in in doing so we should try an be respectful to the guy or gal whom 'made the post earlier in the thread'.
Keep our opinions as our own. Express them if we wish. If we see them as laws, then, they should only be your own and not be imposed on anyone else.
Long live the Community.
As the title states...
My business partner and I are looking for an app developer. The idea we have for an app is a real winner. Short term project, high potential for long term results. PM me for more details about the app. Full disclosure will require you sign an NDA.
Its not paid upfront. We have the business acumen and the marketing experience, you have the design and development skills. If you show a real interest, we're more than happy to discuss terms.
Please do contact me immediately, as we are looking to have this started within the next week.
Thanks.
Hello everyone,
I'm doing a little research about the state of the art of HCE attacks, a field I have little experience in. So far I have gathered many Internet links that I have to skim through but none of them look promising to me since they all talk about NFC vulnerabilities and I'm not sure both subjects are really the same. Can a good Samaritan around here give me some clues about the most common HCE attacks or point me to the right direction (be it a forum, paper, webpage...whatever) for finding information about this subject?
Thanks in advance
Hi guys, sorry for the offtopic, but this survey might be interesting for developers. My post isn't a spam (most of you know me very well), and "Developer economics" are not a spammers at all! These guys will provide you (as they doing it for me) a semi-annual statistics reports about current trends in the mobile (and not mobile only) development, mobile OS'es statistics etc. and so on. Unfortunately, I can't publish any of these reports because of NDA (and you will receive these reports with "do not publish" label). But trust me - these reports are interesting.
Also, these guys are providing some rewards or raffles for taking their surveys. I personally received (during a last three years) about $300 in Amazon cards.
As for this survey: it's kinda long but you may save your progress and continue any time later. But even a questions in this survey shows current industry state perfectly
P.S. Yes, this link contains reference to me (it's another "Dev. econimics" raffle, you'll get the same offer when you complete), I have nothing to hide. But please do not remove me from the link
Guys, a few more referrals are badly needed I'll promise to send you a free codes to any of my paid apps or games if you take dev survey by this link - just drop me a PM when you done.
I'm going to apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere and I do not intend to stir the pot. Some time ago, when surfing XDA for info, I found references to sponsorship or funding by Huawei. (Admittedly, I don't seem to see that anymore.) Given that there are at least some concerns about Huawei's relationship with the Chinese government, could someone clarify for me if there is such a sponsorship or involvement by Huawei?

I don't know why you are surprised by legal sponsorship. After all, you can find links through google, such as this one:
Dive into Digital at HUAWEI CONNECT
www.xda-developers.com
where it directly says:
We thank HUAWEI for sponsoring this post. Our sponsors help us pay for the many costs associated with running XDA, including server costs, full time developers, news writers, and much more. While you might see sponsored content (which will always be labeled as such) alongside Portal content, the Portal team is in no way responsible for these posts. Sponsored content, advertising and XDA Depot are managed by a separate team entirely. XDA will never compromise its journalistic integrity by accepting money to write favorably about a company, or alter our opinions or views in any way. Our opinion cannot be bought.*
*) I have bolded the most important part, in my opinion.
Thank you for that information. The impression that I received, some time ago, was that Huawei was sponsoring the entire site, not just a particular post. If that's incorrect, then any concerns are alieviated.
