I'm not on that ROM so can't say for sure but the first place to look would probably be

[Q] [REQ] Default Android Notification Sounds

I prefer the default Android notification sound found in CyanogenMod and such like... Any idea where I can find the sound so I can have it, instead of the HTC Sense notification sounds? Can anyone just copy it from their ROM and post it, if so it would be much appreciated!
Could I perhaps download a ROM that I know has the notification sound in question and then extract it from there?

You literally just have to do what I told you to.
But here they are anyways
Also (at least with LeeDroid) you can just overwrite (or add them to) the folder in the ROM.zip and flash. I just did it
Thanks BTW. I did what you said. =)

[RINGTONES] 20 Classic Ringtones [CWM package]

This is a CWM package that contains 20 ringtones made using theme songs from classic cartoons, TV shows, movies, video games and the ringtones from the Classic Mobile Phone, the Nokia 3310,converted into .ogg format. Some files have been obtained through the internet as mp3 files others have been recorded by me from the source (example video game themes).
You may open the package to listen to the music files ( .ogg Opens in VLC Player )
You may also delete the music files that you don't want, before installing the package.
All the 20 files start with the letters 'aa' to keep the ringtones in a group.
It is the first time I am doing this.
So only for those who want to take risks.
Make a back-up.
If you have any problem after the first boot try rebooting.
If you want to delete the files from the phone, the system should be write-enabled. For this you may use an app like Damian Tweak from the market.
You would also need a system file explorer like Yaffs Explorer. If you are using Yaffs Explorer, go to its settings and enable root. The ringtones would be located in the folder /system/media/audio/ringtones/
Enjoy the ringtones .
NOTE: Make sure that you have enough space in the system before you install this.

Is this only applicable for SGS i9000 or other phones as well ?
Edit--
Can confirm this as working on Galaxy S II I9100 as well and yes, the ringtones are awesome!

I have not tried on any other phone.
You may try it if you want to .
Please reply if it works .
Make sure that your other ringtones are in the folder /system/media/audio/ringtones/ using a system file explorer.
Alternative method
- Find out where your ringtones are located.
- Download the zip package.
- extract the .ogg files
- copy the files to your sd card
- make sure that the system is write enabled
- copy the files from the sd card to the right folder
it works great on my SGS II. just flashed the file through CWM and voilà
Thanks for replying
Stays it the original SGS melody after installing these tunes?

searching for ROM

Hi
So I have rooted Desire and I'm searching for ROM, I like stock GB roms, especially lock screen and screen where you can see all apps, but otherwise I love Sense UI.
Is there combinated rom?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=89685112
I'm using this ROM it's really fast and I love it, but can I change sense lockscreen to stock android? Is this possible?
Navigate to system>app Search for htclockscreen.apk and select it Rename the above file extension to .apkp (its easy to rename back to .apk in-case it troubles you) Finally reboot your phone
A nice rom
You can try this one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8#post12995138
It's nice and fast!

I see where you at, but unfortunately you can't paste your search links somewhere else

Nexus 5 Sounds (Ringtones,Notifications,Alarms, UI)

Not really sure where to put this but found this earlier and thought some of you may enjoy this.
Simply extract files and move them to the appropriate directory located at "system/media/audio/" using Root Explorer or your favorite file manager and reboot.
Note: For UI Sounds you may need to rename if you want to use them as a Touchwiz Sound...haven't really messed with that yet.
Enjoy!

It would go in Themes and Apps
Moved it for you
Good sounds, I might use them to replace some of the Samsung sounds. For some reason I thought these were pulled from a samsung rom. Lack of sleep..... Lol.

Thanks buddy... I was going to post it there first, but since it was neither a theme nor an app I didn't want to get flamed!

But it certainly is a component of themeing to add sounds as much as adding wallpaper would be to backgrounds.
SORRY wrong post.
Read-only file system error
Thanks a lot! I've been looking for these directions for a while.
However, when I tried I get an error that reads: "/system/media/audio/soundfile.ogg(1): open failed: EROFS (Read-only file system)".
Is there anyway around this? Thanks for your help in advance.
do i need to root my phone for this???
Thank you, I just added these to my Google Pixel as the default system sounds are pretty dire.
Anyone know where I can get all the Nexus 5X or 6P system sounds? (Or maybe someone with root would be so kind as to upload them).
Thanks again.
Thanx dear...
Nice! Thanks for sharing
Nexus 5 had some good sounds, glad i can equip my new phone with some good ol tunes
!!!
GOD BLESS YOU MAN !!!
Thank you so much. I've been looking for this all over the internet

Default notification sound gone with custom rom[Carbon Rom] - How to get it back?

Hey community,
first of all I've got not very much knowledge about custom roms ans other stuff like this so please excuse me for this kind of noob question. But I've got my phone for more than 2 years and every time I got a whatsapp/sms/facebook message the default notification sound of the Xperia S was to hear. I know it's just a matter of habbit but I like this sound as well.
Well, I think with the installation of the new Carbon Rom got the sound deleted. Where I can download this orginal notification sound (.ogg file I guess) and in which directory have I to put it?
Thanks in advance,
hookie

The link you gave is not "Official JB Notifications". It is infact an anime episode.
I did a tutorial of how to put custom .ogg files for notifications
