The Rock Case Rocks

Look no further if you want a slim fitting case with good grip and some style.
I just got the light grey off Amazon and the fit is perfect grip is great, bulk Is very min. The case has a different feel to it, it's weird in a good way, soft but grippy and there is a bit of a sandpaper type texture to it.
Only thing is you can't see the great looking back cover of the phones battery door.

Yeah, I've been using mine for a while too. Best case I have seen/felt in a long time.

How does this fit in your pocket? Does it stick in your pocket when you try to pull it out?

It feels great. Very grippy in the hands, easy to hold. Slides in and out of the pocket very nice.
If I can get hold of another camera, I'll take a picture of the front of it.

I have the same case as the OP, I love it. It's feels and looks great.

I bought both black and grey but from a seller on ebay that is shipping from china. I only did this because at the time they did not have them on amazon. I got them for way cheaper though. I spent about 10 bucks a case.

I got my Rock case, and while it's nice. I don't like that it doesn't cover the top or bottom.

i just received my rock quicksand from a chinese vendor. how do i know if it is legit. it does have a nice packaging and a rock with a registered mark. but the markings on the case say "Designed by ROCK in Shenzhen"....can anyone confirm?
edit: noticed it does have chinese website rockphone.cn so looks legit

Yep got mine from a similar ebay vendor - shipped from Hong Kong to Australia in 10 days or so, and works great. I even managed to do a decent screen protector setup with no bubbles...

if only this case came in white I would be on it.

I'd love to see a drop test with these cases. They look fantastic and I'm sure will protect the phone from scratches, but how much protection will it offer if dropped?

The most closer you can get is choose the Rock Nakedshell. But is glossy instead of sandpaper texture.

Got the ROCK Quicksand today from UK seller on ebay. took 2 days delivery. and honestly im surprised by the build quality for £10. i think it's pretty good!
half tempted to cover the back in carbon fibre vinyl like another post ive seen here. but the Rock gets thumbs up from me!

does anyone have one they recommend?
I did look at the official flip cover but the reviews seem to indicate it gets dirty and being in your pocket damages it. (I work in construction so ideally want something to cover it unless I take it out.

I went through a few looking for one I liked. Finally kept the SGP Crumena, only thing I would change is a hole for the notification led. I added my own with a leather punch. Great case though, nice tight fit that covers the phone completely and feels top quality.

Have a look for Easecase on ebay, they have various models, each can be customised with a choice of leather, lining colour, closure system etc. Had one for my HD2, S2 and now S3. Really well made and sturdy (I lump the lot in a handbag quite regularly)

I measured it carefully and used a leather hole punch to make it look like it was manufacturer made.

That looks perfect to me! However, for that price, I I'd have to see a review first. I'm looking for the functionality that case has. I want something very slim and very light. The poetic I have is pretty nice, especially for 12 dollars. But it's thicker than I'd really like, though not really that thick. Also, it doesn't have the lay flat with a slight tilt option.

Is it really premium materials/brand? Or they just don't wana be in business ANYMORE?

How premium can PU really be?

Here is another one that I'm interested in. They are expensive I believe because they are being imported and only a couple of people are offering them. I would guess that in time they should come down in price. I prefer a minimalist case and both of these two seem really good but ebay is the only place I've been able to find them from.

I'm actually using this case..is not really a premium material but overall the protection is nice..plus the surface iz textured..good for handling..plus there is no magnetic object..

Did you pay $82.00 for it?

I bought the AnyMode VIP case / blue color about a month ago. I would like it is amazing quality and I would consider it the best case I bought for a tablet, as I had before the Asus Prime and the Samsung Tab. It fits perfect nice color with my white Note 10.1 with excellent finishing.

I bought this case for my daughter's OnePlus One, it is great. It might even be better than the Diztronic case I bought for my One.

Never used a case like this but I always wanted to!!
It looks really cool but what do you think about the Screen protector part? Is it crystal or plastic? Maybe it's bad quality and leaves the fingerprints marked???
I would rather prefer the same case without that part

I'm not sure as I don't own one or even seen one but the pics remind me of the armor box I have for my N5. The screen protector can be removed, if you want.

Got a tudia now and I'm surely buying this one soon. Looks nice.

Oh and i have a casebase branded tempered glass screen on my oneplus one. These are on amazon for oneplus two so i have ordered this already. I like the fact that it comes with a spare and they are charging for two good glass screen protectors the same price many people are charging for one

I agree with samir_a, that Orzly case looks great and would get that one. At the moment i have a fusion bumper case for the 1+1 and i like that - they have those too

I hope that some companys will also drop real bumpers. I am going to buy the apricot version of the Two and don't want to cover it with plastic. And if the back gets damaged I can buy a new styleswap cover.

thanks lorded you are indeed right. I double checked and it is the Orzly oneplus 2 invisicase that is arriving tomorrow. I ordered this as well as the fusion
so it looks like i will be reviewing the invisicase first. I sure hope it fits properly as im really surprised orzly have cases so quickly.
