Look no further if you want a slim fitting case with good grip and some style.
I just got the light grey off Amazon and the fit is perfect grip is great, bulk Is very min. The case has a different feel to it, it's weird in a good way, soft but grippy and there is a bit of a sandpaper type texture to it.
Only thing is you can't see the great looking back cover of the phones battery door.

I bought both black and grey but from a seller on ebay that is shipping from china. I only did this because at the time they did not have them on amazon. I got them for way cheaper though. I spent about 10 bucks a case.

I got my Rock case, and while it's nice. I don't like that it doesn't cover the top or bottom.
i just received my rock quicksand from a chinese vendor. how do i know if it is legit. it does have a nice packaging and a rock with a registered mark. but the markings on the case say "Designed by ROCK in Shenzhen"....can anyone confirm?

Yep got mine from a similar ebay vendor - shipped from Hong Kong to Australia in 10 days or so, and works great. I even managed to do a decent screen protector setup with no bubbles...
if only this case came in white I would be on it.
I'd love to see a drop test with these cases. They look fantastic and I'm sure will protect the phone from scratches, but how much protection will it offer if dropped?

The most closer you can get is choose the Rock Nakedshell. But is glossy instead of sandpaper texture.

Got the ROCK Quicksand today from UK seller on ebay. took 2 days delivery. and honestly im surprised by the build quality for £10. i think it's pretty good!
half tempted to cover the back in carbon fibre vinyl like another post ive seen here. but the Rock gets thumbs up from me!

the body glove case on t-mobile's site looks really good to me. but body glove has a bad history of damaging phones. i've seen posts on a few devices. hence... i'm wary of getting one. i will probably play it safe and wait for some posts about it on here. but it def looks good.

I bought the black body glove case & a couple of cutesy patterned hard cases off eBay. And fyi- the T-Mobile screen protectors seem to be pretty darn good.

Nice pictures! I'd also like to know more. Does it get stuck when you try to pocket it?
the case overall it seems very durable. 9/10 when there isn't a phone in there its kinda flimsy but it feels real sturdy in your hand. The phone does not get stuck when you try to pocket it, it has a hard coat so its not like a soft silicone case. Doesn't attract any lint that's a plus. I really jumped the gun and bought the case before I got my phone
Found a lot of cheap TPU cases on e-bay + screen protectors. Can't wait for them to get here so I can stop being so careful with my phone.

Got myself a tpu and arrived yesterday and doesnt really fit quite as well as the tpu for my vibrant
i didnt see this case in my local tmobile stores, i seen the other 2 cases. i ordered mine online.
For the past six months, I've been searching and waiting for the perfect bumper and I think I've finally found it. The other bumpers like Draco and Tedoori have button cutouts that kill the symmetry of the phone's lines. Bumpers like Spigen are plastic and just look terrible.
The one made by Luardi is slim and has nice curves that won't kill the S3's nice curves. I have yet to see someone review it here so :I will post one when I get it.
What do you guys think?

Wouldn't exactly say that's anywhere near "Way too expensive". Considering other aluminum bumpers like the Draco Design's one is nearly double the price....
Actually, it's on sale on eBay and you can pick it up for $40. Still pricey but not bad. Hope it's worth it.

Metal backs will distort NFC but phone signal is not really affected that much unless your normal signal is bad to begin with.
Looks nice, if it didn't have the grip parts I might consider it.
Overall doesn't seem expensive IMHO

i'm curious, too. Thinking about possibly getting one of these, or Luardi's leather wallet case... i'd prefer staying with something that doesn't increase the bulk of the phone, but also curious about how installing the phone in Luardi's aluminum bumpers goes.
Just ordered mine
Ordered mine from ebag through Amazon for $37. First time it came the case did not look anything like the picture. It was probably a knockoff. Called Ebag and they assured me it was probably mis-packaged my employee so I'm ordering another one.
The attached picture shows the one they sent me. Just a case with a cut out for the buttons.

After some crazy Fedex routing, I finally got my bumper. At first, I glance, I was disappointed, because I got the same case as previously mentioned from eBags via Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Luardi-Aluminum-Bumper-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00ANWLUO0/). But then when I opened it up more, I realized that this was in fact the aluminum bumper, it just doesn't match the picture that Luardi / Amazon / eBags posted on their order page.
The case is more subdued than in the advertised pictures and the bumps along the size are less pronounced (I prefer that). The one thing they did design-wise was to make the top portion a thin plastic inset to hold the phone in the bumper. It seems to work, but makes the case feel cheaper. It could be that this design allows the bumper to be less bulky without additional securing closures. It looks pretty good, but it isn't as solid as I had hoped, it will creak and flex slightly when squeezed, particularly along the bottom where the plastic inset can be released.

I am trying out the case to see whether I am going to keep it. I suspect that Amazon / eBags would still authorize the return since it clearly doesn't match what they are advertising.

Spigen also seems to have released a clear bordered version of their Ultra Hybrid. I'll want to see theses pictures for sure, and how it feels in hand / what material they use for it.

Nope youre incorrect the side is TPU it wont get scratched like the back.

I just got this case for my RED Nexus 5 and really really like this case. Buttons work much better with this case than my all TPU clear case. Still very slim and fitment is perfect.

buttons are pretty awesome on this case. I like it, but ordered knock off Google bumper that should get here soon. I'm not really into the clear hard plastic backs. Feels very light and thin though for a good amount of protection.

IMO dbrand has the best fit and quality. You can order customs from them as well if you can manage to fit in their busy schedule. I've ordered two customs from them so far and love it. I want a new one but they've been so busy lately.

Looks good and the HTC alignment looks spot on too. I bought some skins from Luckyskins.com and the HTC alignment was not good at all.
Side note, if you really wanted to pair the skin with the Spigen, you should've left the left and right sides bare. There's a good chance the Spigen case will peel the side skins back otherwise. Those crystal cases tend to be a very tight fit with a bare phone, I've never had good luck stuffing a skinned phone into them.

The plastic quality is pretty good, and look much better in good light. For the money, I'd say they're definitely worth it, no doubt.

I got the red one and like you I was quite impressed. Very nice looking out of the box.
However the feel of the case is very slippery and difficult to hold. Not sure if the original is the same but I just could not get used to it. Went back to a cheap e-bay TPU case again after a few days.

I completely agree. It's pretty slippery, but good looking. I'm just going to use it once in a while when I go out and want a different look. But for most days I'm going to stick to my Ringke Fusion Crystal View case. It has very tacky sides and I never feel likes it's going to slip out of my hands. But like I said, the replica bumper cases do look good. For what I paid, it's adequate.

I also got the grey one but was able to use it only for a few weeks before there was quite bad dis-colouration on the sides/edges and back. Makes it look very dingy.
That along with how slippery it was makes it something I would not recommend.
I'm no expert but these replica cases somehow feel like they are missing some kind of coating or finishing or something.
