ereader htc

Sensation Xe has an amazing app called Reader which gets integrated to My Shelf, this is the best reader for epub I came across, I bought HTC One X and found this app is missing, Please can some one post the .apk for us to install in the One X phone

I had the same problem. Install Kobo from Play Shop, sign in with the account to originally purchased from and you should see your books there.

we need to find a way to get it installed,as App is there but unable to install

I upgraded Sensation XE from 2.3 to 4.0.3 and it work just fine on Sensation XE

Do you stil have your XE? If yes: maybe you can use Titanium Backup to back-up the app and then install it on your HOX.

Yes I am still using XE and One X is in my drawer because of missing app

now it say that it needs roots access

Normally you have to copy it directly in the app directory. I will check it and add a little tutorial later.
Tutorial:
- Doesn't work in the normal way... app isn't add to the application list. Sorry.

[Q] Why can't i download apps off google play?

Hi all
I have just tried to install an app from the market and im getting an error
"[Name of app] could not be downloaded due to an error (492)"
It was fine last night downloading stuff but now out of the blue this happens!

Did you try removing your Google account and re-adding it?

You get that when your connection is not strong enough... I get it sometimes... It should work later.

I get a message saying that if i want to remove my google account from my phone i have to do a factory reset..I would rather not :/

Still getting the error and no fix for it?

Try clearing PlayStore's cache.. Settings/Apps and try downloading again. If that alone did not solve it, you might have to reboot into Recovery to Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache too.

You can try this,
Go to manage applications>google play>clear data.
again go to,
Manage applications>google services framework>clear data.
now reboot your device and wait for at least 10 minuets,then try downloading your app.

Downloads on google play
I'm having trouble downloading apps from google play. When i try to download something, it says something like "(the name of the app) will download onto your divise soon) but the problem is it never downloads. And a little while later i go back to try to download it again, and it says its downloaded. But it isnt downloaded, the app isnt on my screen where its suposed to be. Please help me.

I think its the website. I went onto safari, then i went to the website google play.

Download it from the phone, Nd make sure that your signed in with the correct Google account and have your phone selected if downloading from the website.

Are you trying to download android apps to an iPad or with an iPad? If your downloading them to a HTC wildfire then use the play store app on the HTC wildfire. If your trying to get apps for your iPad you need to use the apple app store as android-apple apps are not cross compatible.

I'm trying to download apps from google play onto my ipad. I'm not much of a tech person, and i know this sounds really stupid but do you think you could just give me steps. I'm just super confused right now.

im afraid that is not possible. the only apps that will ever work on your apple ipad will be apple apps from their "app market".
The apps from google play will only run on an android device, which your ipad is not. sorry pal, but thats like trying to use an inflatable rubber ring for a spare car Tyre, it just wont work... (no offense )

Advice please.

I bought a one v through cricket wireless its cdma primoc my problem is I want to Rom my phone BUT none of the roms I have tried won't let me use muvemusic or utilize beats audio that this phone came with. Any ideas or suggestions?

yup.. just download beat audio installer from google play or you can any sound enhancement from market or others sources....
but, i really like Awesome Beats from Pimp My Rom...

The only last thing I need to figure out is the muve music issue find a way to keep it or turn it off an save 5 bucks a month...thanks for the advice

You may have to copy the app out of the stock ROM then push it to your system files on your new one. Make sure the permissions are set correctly.

You can use titanium backup (free in the play store) to make a backup of the app, then when you flash a rom, you just download titanium backup from the play store and it will find the backup of all your apps, and you can restore them

HTC Music w/ Gracenotes and HTC Notes for GE

So I wanted to add HTC music with gracenotes and stuff as well as HTC notes to GE and after like 20 minutes I got them both fully working including gracenotes. Had to edit and add some apps and add a lot of libs. If anyone wants it I made a flashable zip.

Installed on Insertcoin 3.05 GE (Android 4.3). Curently on 3.09 firmware with tbalden's 2.1.5c performance kernel.
Cache & dalvik were cleaned after installation. Permissions were fixed after first reboot (from recovery)
That's the error:
Unfortunately android.process.media service stopped...
................... com.google.process.gapps stopped...
Unfortunately Music stopped
Same for notes...
It would be great If we can have working Music with gracenotes
Ready to test anything what you want...

EDIT: Just tested... Every file was moved to relevant directory and perms were changed to default for relevant folder...
There is no FC's from gapps, and other processes... Only Music, Music provider & Notes apps FC....
Probably you are on the right way... It still need something

Calendar would be infinitely awesome....maybe email too but the Sense Calendar is soooo nice for syncing with Outlook at work.

Corporate sync on custom ROM (Nexus me)

Hi,
I've just installed the Nexus Me ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2440958 and I'm pretty impressed by the device of my wildfire!
The only problem I have currently is that that ROM doesn't come with corporate sync what usually other ROM provide(I need to connect to an Exchange server). Is there a way to add that type of account ?

The stock ROM? I'm not using that one for quite some time now.... The ROM only allows to add a gmail account.
Before Nexus Me I used a ROM from Erwin but it was too sluggish and made a few app crash. Nexus Me seems to be a better fit for me, except for the absent corporate account access ( for e-mail, contacts and agenda sync), hence my question is it possible to install that feature?

No you have misunderstood me I ment the stock cyanogenmod 7 email app called email. It should have support for corporate sync "out of the box". I will download the Rom now and have a look at it. If it doesn't then adding should be simple enough brb.

apk attached. install from sdcard or use a root explorer to move it to system/app and set the permissions to the same as other system apps.

that version of clockworkmod is outdated and has the charging bug. download and install 5.0.2.0 then wipe everything in your new recovery Except your sd card, inless you intend to make a new ext4 partition. then install the rom
