help on flashing custom roms

Hi guys,im new to the optimus g pro..i managed to convert my f240s to lg e988..i was just wondering if i can flash any rom for lg e988?if so,is there any problems and extra steps to consider after flashing a e988 rom?

i have lg g pro e988 running on 4.1.2 stock rom and i'm trying to flash xitrom v1.7 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2749017
and i flash Macks Kernel after flashing my phone suck on the first lg boot logo i think i should flash a 4.4.2 boot.img
any help plz ? and sorry for my bad english

A quick search would tell you there is no root possible at the moment on lollipop

You don't. You revert to kk, root, then install a lollipop rom

me too. i tried many times & searched for it but couldn't find anything. i appreciate if developer are working on our device (LG G3 32gb "D855") running lollipop 5.0
i need to root ASAP

Someone tested to do this ->
4.4.2 Kitkat (rooted and with TWRP recovery)
Flash Lollipop rom via TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
Flash root (supersu.zip) via TWRP
Install flashify - flash Lollipop stock recovery - flash stock Lollipop bootloader.

1. Download kitkat KDZ (10l)
2. CSE flash with LG Flash Tool
3. Root it (purple drake)
4. Download TWRP
5. Download and flash v20h bumped
6. Flash Super SU
7. Done

How to install twrp on 20E ?
