[Q] HTC Sense Browser Tabs - HTC One X

I assume the answer to this is no, but I wanted to check.
I really like the stock HTC browser - i am currently running AR HD 31.3. However, I hate it that it virtually closes background tabs instantly. This means if you create a new tab, or open a link in a new tab, when you back it has to reload the previous tab from scratch.
Is there any way to override this default behaviour? I have loads of free RAM so it's just proving to be annoying rather than efficient...
Thanks.

hopefully easy Q. full page facebook app?

i have the default HTC one, but it doesn't fill the window like the mail app does.
anyway to expand it, or an app that makes full use of the page?
page = homescreen or whatever it's called (it's early, i can't remember)
I have tried the full set of apps and in teh end decide that a short-cut to the touch version of teh web page (which I added to my home screen) was the best approach for me. Not only did I like the layout best but, more importantly, it seems to have better functionality than the apps I tried.
hmm, will check that out.
here's hoping a better facebook app comes out soon

Quick question about sense

Hey there, im rooted etc... basically i had a quick question
I currently use LauncherPro as my default home app, and have absolutely no intention of going back to the stock rosie app.. im not looking to take all the sense stuff away, basically all im wondering, is what is the command to run in adb in order to remove the sense launcher specifically so that launcherpro is the only one that i have?? Everytime i open task killer i see senseui running in the background even when its not being used so ide like to take it completely off so its not hogging memory
sounds like you want this

[Q] switching to Sense/Manila/homescreen apps via Task Manager

One rather show-stopping issue I've come across with my HTC is that the widgets/home screen tab apps/manila apps/HTC sense apps that get launched from the homescreen do not run as their own tasks. So you can't just switch to, for example, HTC's music player via a task manager. You have to go to the homescreen, and then make sure you're on the right tab. It's slow and clunky and effectively makes the homescreen apps inaccessible, if you like to use your phone for a bunch of other stuff other than what's on the homescreen (ie. you're not staying on the homescreen for everything you do).
Is there something I'm missing? Is there a quick way to switch between homescreen apps from outside of the homescreen?
Thanks,
Simmy

[Q] Browser Problems

Just got my new S4 today and rooted it before doing much else. But after I've started using the stock browser I've noticed all my tabs open in the foreground and the option to have them open in the background seems to have been removed. I just came from an S2 where this option was easy to change under settings but 4.2.2s menus seem like such a mess that maybe I'm missing the option somewhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

Stock browser is not remembering Accesibility settings

The stock browser is not applying my Accessibility settings when it first loads a page. I have the font to be augmented to 145% but each time I open a web page it's like I didn't set the option at all. Once in the page I go to the accesibility settings again and disable/enable (or viceversa) anything in it (like the 'force zoom' option, or the 'text booster') and when I exit the settings (without ever reloading the page) the settings are finally applied. It's like the browser finally reads the settings and applies them.
Before you guys recommend a "better" browser I know there are many other browsers out there including chrome but I prefer this one and I want to know if anyone has had this happen and managed to fix it or anything.
Thanks!
I tried every browser and none was as good as "browser". Turns out that someone uploaded an AOSP version of browser to the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.android.browser it's even better than the stock browser on the mini since this one is closer to the one I used to use on my S3 with all the cool nifty features (full screen mode, night mode, etc). It's really cool and it doesn't have the bugs ailing the stock browser.
