Adding input method to Google keyboard? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

OK I installed Google keyboard and it has been working wonderfully on my xperia tablet. I know it is bit out of topic but I'll so here anyways. On my note ii I also started using Google keyboard however from input method I can not find English (PC). Is there way to add that? There is English (us) and English (UK) but English (PC) will display both letters and numbers on one screen without need to switch between. Thanks a lot.

Help with Chinese input

Hey everyone. So I just noticed my phone has the option to switch to Chinese under the language settings. I've been flashing rooms and kernals for awhile on this phone. Currently I am on tdjs dark side beta 3.
So some of my relatives recently took advantage of the free gs2 offer from T-Mobile and got their phones. They've come to me to see if I can change their phone to Chinese. The weird thing is, that I can't even see that option on their phones.
Is this because I'm rooted with a different rom? Or is it because I'm on ICS that has the ability to have the option or Chinese?
What's the quickest and easiest way for me to add Chinese to their phones. I'm not talking about the Google Pinyin app, I'm looking to change the language of the entire phone to Chinese.
Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Even though the phone supports many languages only a few of them will show in the menu. Using this app will allow you to access the hidden languages and set it as the system language. Be advised the languages are in pseudo alphabetical order so you will have to scroll the whole list to find the language you're looking for.

Add system language packs

I'm giving this phone to my mom but she can't read English so is there anyway we can add other languages to our rom? I want to add Vietnamese. I've search the Web and everything but can't find a way how to so that.

It's English-only. There's nothing you can do.

do mean that the device language have to be English ?
Is there anyway to make only the google now English and the rest Hebrew?
Yup, that's what I meant. I've heard of a way by replacing the APK file with a modded one. Not remember where, but Google should get you there.

[Q] Missing languages?

I just bought the Galaxy Note 2 today and I go to the Settings menu > Language and input > Samsung keyboard > Input languages and Macedonian is missing (I'm from Macedonia). I know that I can install some other keyboards from the Play Store, but it should be there by default! (My friend uses a Galaxy Nexus and he has it) I'm on 4.1.1 if that helps.
Thanks in advance!

I rooted my device and installed the app, but these are languages for the menus and not for the keyboard.. I still can't get Macedonian language on my default Samsung keyboard. Any idea how to get it? Thanks!
Macedonian is the language of North top Greeks same with Greek language . If you speak Greek then you can select Greek language thats similar with all well known Macedonian. There are no differences at all. I think you need a Yugoslavic one to solve your problem..

Sorry but I didn't asked you to teach me history because I know mine. I need Macedonian for my Samsung keyboard. I can make the Galaxy Note 2 menus on Macedonian so there should be a Macedonian keyboard too.
There is not Macedonian stock language for your phone , Greek language is the only option to select and its the same with Macedonian one . Your history is a lie Vardarskan from Yugoslavia.Your propaganda does not fit here.

Dude this is not the time and certainly not the place to discuss politics. This is the last time that you'll get a reply from me.
First of all: I had Macedonian before language enabler, I thought by installing it, I would have Macedonian Samsung keyboard too.
Second: Greek and Macedonian languages are totally different! We speek nothing like you!
Third: That's one OLD map dude. Vardarska, Zetksa, those aren't even the names of the countries, whoever made that map was high or this is a 100 year old map.
So just chill and reply if you want, I'm not replying to you anymore. I will reply only about informatons for the Samsung keyboard.
There is not an official language called Macedonian.Ancient Macedonian coins had Greek names of the kings written on them so basically they spoke and wrote in Greek.Any Greek can recognize what names are written on these coins. The language that Yugoslavian used to speak was and its still a kind of Slavic having many symbols copied from our alphabet.Have a great night , i hope you will find a solution for your problem.

Please do not hijack a mobile phone thread for politics!
Where did you purchase your phone. Languages on ordinary Samsung phones are different from Nexus phone. Samsung limits languages to the area devices are sold (but always include korean and english. For example, Galaxy Note 2 in SE Asia only contains Bahasa Thai Vietnamese
No luck with the Language enabler... :/

Decent alternative keyboard

I usually like to stick with stock keyboards that come with my phone but the samsung keyboard auto correct is garbage. For me at least. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a decent keyboard? Thanks
A lot of people like Swiftkey.
I have used Google Keyboard for years. It doesn't have all the useless "features" some of other keyboards do, but it's quick and it works.
I have tried others such as Swiftkey, but they always end up annoying the crap out of me, so I go back to Google Keyboard.
I have preferred how Swype works for years. None are perfect, each has quirks and pro's and con's. Swype is the best overall for my tastes to date however.
I haven't tried swiftkey or Swype in about 2-3 years. I guess ill try them out again.

I want the number row plus Chinese language support, seem hard to find. Google keyboard possible but the number row only available with "PC" type keyboard which is not so good on a phone. So still using Samsung keyboard currently

I'm trying out SwiftKey at the moment and it's working really well. It has the number row on the top as well as Chinese support if you're interested in it.

Wow thanks. I remember these two were not present when I tried swiftkey long ago, glad they're added
I'm using Fleksy right now and its not bad. Better than stock but takes some time to get used to it. It's fairly customizable as well.
