Hi guys!
I've been using a paid app for a while without having bought it, because unfortunately I couldn't afford spending on apps. But now I do, and I tried to purchase it in the play store, but it is marked as already purchased, and I get and error message whenever I try to download it. Is there a way I can make it forget that I already "purchased" this and buy it again?
EDIT: nevermind, found the solution, just gotta install a 2.x version of Market.
Funny that, google fixed even that

Sorry for creating a thread just for a question, but I couldn’t find an answer elsewhere.
My Galaxy S3 is rooted and the Market Enabler worked in removing the country restrictions and showing the paid apps. But when I proceed to buy an app, the store suddenly closes and I get this message: “Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped”
Any ideas how to fix this?

Can be done but you have to be patient!

First try to clear your Play Store cache. You need couple of more things to do in order to get the market working and buy apps.
Clear the cache of Google Transport Protocol (or something smilar - can't remember)
Clear the cache of Talk
Clear the cache for Market (just to be safe)
Turn on flight mode
Reboot
Now when your reboot is done make sure the phone is still in airplane mode. Next you have to fire the Market Enabler app, select your fake sim. After selecting the fake sim make sure you are still in airplane mode.
After completing these steps turn on your wifi (attn: WiFi). Log into Google Talk. Give it a couple f minutes to make sure it syncs with the server and lets it register the fake sim you have introduced. Open the Market and try to purchase something.
Google also does a check with credit cards billing address so you have to change the address of your credit card to a valid address from a country where market is open (ex: US, UK, DE)
Be nice and hit the thanks button
Thanks a lot for the replies, guys!
Will try now!

I tried the above before with a cpl diff enablers, it showed apps from verizon , but I couldn't even download free apps, much less paid, I'm overseas and have a US credit card. Hope you have better luck.

That's because Market Enabler is outdated and not really optimised. Use Market Access instead (Google "Market Access apk" it's a free app). Tiny, nicely done and 100% working. I browse and buy in the Verizon market, because the user base is way better than the one in my country.
Why should MarketEnabler (Jan 2012) be outdated?
According to the release date it's newer than MarketAccess (22 July, 2010).
Device: Note 8.0
I have a friend of mine that was asking me for some help. He is in the US Air Force and stationed in Okinawa and can't get the playstore to recognize his US address which is an APO address. We tried psiphon and clearing all the play store data but it still defaults to the Japan play store.
He just got the device and it isn't rooted, do we have to root to be able to make this work or did they just make it much harder to change regions? I think this is a justifiable reason to change region.
If it does have to be rooted anyone have a recommendation of a ROM that is easy to do for someone with little experience and can be done through a Mac as that is all he has over there.
I am really tempted to get this phone since the new pricing and the new unlocked version
but I am getting confuse can I root it without breaking it what is the best way to achieve it? (downgrade)
Do I get all the Google app working if I install Google Service Framework, Google Login Service, Google Play Service, Google Play Store
and how long is the battery life on one charge?

I would advise against it for now... their is a good chance you'll get a phone that can't be downgraded / rooted. I messed mine up and now it's not able to be activated on Amazon.

here in Cyprus where I live, 97% of shops supports NFC payments, but rather than carrying my visa card, I prefer using my phone
I tried setting up google pay from apk mirror and installed it, the app said that my card is not supported (there is not a single bank that supports google pay here)
I created a (.boon contactless payment) which its a virtual card that supports google pay and I was able to set it up but google pay started uninstalling itself from my phone for no reason (even after I was able to add a card on it)
then I realized that I changed device and now I have the s9 (it is not rooted or anything else just yet)
so I went ahead to download Samsung pay! ...... I wasn't able to download it neither from google store or from Samsung store
so I went to download it from apk mirror again and the results are almost the same it doesn't allow itself to connect to the internet expect to show me the promotions and notices
I wasn't able even to connect my PayPal account
is there any alternate app that gonna give me the ability to pay in stores with my phone?
and sorry for my bad English, Thanks!
Barclaycard have their own payment system which uses the NFC it's separate to Google and aamaung
