Has anyone tried OTA Rootkeeper on the Note 3? Does it work at UN rooting and preserving?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Your better solution to this might be with SuperSU pro mode.
As for OTA Rootkeeper:
Due to changes in 4.3 security implementations, OTA RootKeeper cannot work to 4.3 updates.

Doesn't seem to work at hiding it from the Isis mobile wallet app.

Sorry, didn't know that was your goal. I don't use Isis and don't plan on it.
Waiting for Google wallet to come out with software secure element instead of hardware secure element which Samsung blocks. Stupid to have different wallet systems especially if you own and use multiple Android devices.
There are a few other apps which say they will do that, but not worth mucking things up playing with them for something I'm not going to use.
Yeah, I'm hoping for that too. Was just going to try Isis to see if it would work or not.

Assuming you have a Chase or AMEX card, you would have to un-root to use it. If you don't have those cards, you can't really use it anyway.
I already have Google Wallet on my other devices, don't need more than one system. And I really don't use that much either.

You can try to use Xpose framework, and the module Isis root bypass. That gives you access to use Isis without a problem, assuming you have a credit card issue by Chasse or Amex.

Gave this a try.... the above didn't work.
However, I did find something that has worked. I've done everything outside of actually paying for something.
1. Download XPrivacy.
2. Enable it in Xposed Installer.
3. Reboot
4. Open XPrivacy find ISIS in the programs.
5. uncheck all the boxes except Shell (commands, superuser).
6. close XPrivacy
7. Open ISIS and setup.
All these steps are assuming you are rooted and have given access to all the apps from above steps. Otherwise ISIS works if you are not rooted anyway. Hope I helped.

Okay so there was an update for google wallet so I downloaded it hoping it would work with our phone (it didn't of course) anyways when I opened it it asked for root access from super user. I thought it was very strange any thoughts?

What do you want clarified? You can download it from the market, but it doesn't work.

You can download it from the market but it currently doesn't work with our device. Anyway it asks for root permission when you open
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA
It won't ever work in this phone
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
The reason why Google wallet asks for SU permissions is because it wants to know if you are rooted or not. If you are, whether you allow or deny root access then all it gives you is the "unsupported device" notification.:

Yeah, didn't they require some 'secure element' chip that our phones didn't have or did they work around that and I just missed it?

Funny. I ran a log cat while attempting to activate Google Wallet and got:
D/NFCJNI ( 767): > Number of Secure Element(s) : 1
D/NFCJNI ( 767): phLibNfc_SE_GetSecureElementList(): SMX detected

I always get the set up screen for Google wallet every time I flashed a new ROM ...don't u guys!?

You installed xposed, restarted, installed the rootcloak module, restarted, added the app and restarted? You have to install the xposed app then install the framework from inside the app, then restart.

Did all that and got past the "your phone is rooted" error. But now I get this message instead.
Haven't seen that error. Maybe try clearing data for Isis? Try doing it on WiFi too. Sounds like it can't establish a connection with Isis servers.

Hello to all,, I have my tab pro 8.4 rooted. I don't remember installing anything called snoopwall and don't see it in app manager either.
What is this and where did snoopwall come from, and can I remove it ?

Dunno how to remove it (yet), but maybe it hitchhiked in on another app? I hate when app makers bundle other stuff in their apps but it happens on occasion.
EDIT: Ah, think I found out why you can't remove it. According to:
https://snoopwall.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201186946-Why-is-the-uninstall-button-greyed-out-
"SnoopWall needs to be an administrator of your device in order to block access to ports. This means that the administrator access needs to be removed before uninstalling. To do this you should go to security under settings and then click device administrators then uncheck SnoopWall. After this you should be able to uninstall SnoopWall just like any other app."
Mee too
I am having the same experience on a S4. Anyone figure out where this came from?
I don't have an entry under Application Manager for Snoopwall, nor does Titanium see it.
Pissing me off...

When I had first encountered it, I was unsure how it got installed.
After I flashed a custom ROM it went away, so I figured it was from Samsung

So I removed the notification then logged back into it and it popped up again
So its my backing app lol, basically telling me that I have root
