Hey guys,
this is my first post. So chill...
As the new Android 4.4 Kitkat has been out just recently, we all have had our hands on the new extracted Kitkat launcher that came with it.
But one thing you all wud have noticed who are using "Xposed framework" and "tinted Statusbar" is that the launcher does not support transparent Statusbar. Well i ve found a simple trick to do just that.
Here are the steps:
1.All you have to do is open the "tinted Statusbar", search for kikkat launcher named "Launcher" with a blue icon and adjust its opacity.
Nohing will happen. Be patient.
2. Now search for google search app in the tinted statusbar app. You have to change its opacity too. And Tadaa.....done...if nothing happens, reboot.
Enjoy,
P.S.: you will still get the shadow under the statusbar so adjust it accordingly. Havnt found a way to remove it yet.

In the video seen here http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/08/android-open-kang-project-navigation-bar/ guy adds launcher shortcut for app drawer. I do no have the option for launcher setting. I can do apps, phone setting, and from control but the option he had for launcher setting is simply not there for me. I've wiped and re installed, updated nova to newest as well as beta and yes I tried the nova aokp came with. Nothing gives me this option. Any ideas?
[Also, anyone know how he did that light scrolling thing immediately above the nav bar?
The 'light scrolling thing' was a 'MIUI-style battery bar' found here:
Settings > ROM Control - statusbar > Battery
Enable it in the 'battery bar location', change the style to 'center-mirrored' and enable the 'charging animation' to get the animation he was getting in the video (or so I believe).
I can't answer the navigation bar launcher option issue because I'm still on AOKP M4.
the ability to add the app drawer to the nav bar isn't available as yet...
i spoke with the nova dev n he said he had spoken to aokp devs already and the next beta of nova should have a shortcut that can be added to the nav bar... the basis fdor this i believe is because opening the app drawer is launcher dependant..
I have made a full-black wallpper myself and it looks better than any other wallpapers!
but the default gray notification bar looks very ugly above full-black wallpaper.
does anyone knows how to set the color of the notification bar? I have a rooted device and I searched the forum but found nothing related.
Search the forum for xposed installer and tweakbox. Install the xposed installer and through there install tweakbox. Through tweakbox u can change statusbar settings.
From the middle of nowhere to the center of everywhere!!
Can you post your full black wallpapaer please? I like it too, and I'm using an app called no wallpaper which is very battery fitrendly, but I would like to try only a wallpaper and not an apk.
Thanks
Hi there! Is there a way that I can make my Notification bar and Navigation bar Transparent in apps. I want to have them like on the homescreen with GEL where notification + navigation bar is trasparent. For example like the modded Instagram from Holofication Nation where everything is HOLO + transparent/ Thnx:fingers-crossed:
YES! I've been looking around for this too, thought maybe some xposed mod...
Not super familiar with the subject, but I think its up the the app Dev to implement?
Also, check out "[kk] translucent recents" xposed mod, makes your recent do just that!
I believe it is up to the developers to take the default page attributes and not specify color for those are or to become immersive. This is described on the Google development site and might be accessible via a search of this or the General areas of this forum.
The new lollipop update has just been officially updated on my new lg g3. But I've noticed a few different things that I'm now unable to change. One being a very annoying one! The top status bar and the bottom nav bar....
I use Nova launcher and there's a setting on there that if your device allows it that the top status bar will be set to full transparent (not just translucent)... this now no longer works?! Instead I have a dark overlay as the status bar and the same applies to the Nav bar. If I use the I.original home launcher then it does at least become translucent again with a gradient effect.
Is there any way to have a FULL translucent status bar again on lollipop without rooting it? As I didn't really want to have to root this phone. But these small UI changes make all the difference to me! I just can't understand why something like that would be taken away :-\
Try the Google Now Launcher After you install it, you can switch it from Settings > Home.
And if you'd be interestedin Nokia ZLauncher, it's a cool new thing, it's simple and minimal. it uses Try to download from Google Store if it says you can't or not compatible with your devide, you can grab the apk file from THIS THREAD
I hope this works for you. let me know.
where are you from ?
As the title says, is there a way to change drawer app icons with stock launcher on lg g3 32gb? I know there are tons of ways to change icons on home, but didn't find anthing usefull abut drawer icons. Thanks in advance.
You need to apply a theme from the Lg world application.
If you are rooted you can install xposed and apply the icon pack you want.
Sent from my phone
I have root and i already installed a theme from Lg world app. But is there a way to change drawer icons "manually"? I'd like to misc some icons from some differents packs or make some ones myself but i don't know how apply them, can i do this with xposed? I tryed with Better cut but i had no results.
