Stuck on the htc One Screen - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I am running the NuSenseOne R5 rom. I was in in recovery to wipe the cache after flashing a. zip file and hit the wrong button and wiped the phone. After I rebooted it hung on the htc one screen, won't go any further. Can still get into bootloader and recovery etc. but not past the htc one screen. Tried to flash the rom thru sideload zip flash but can not get the pc to reconize the phone (must have wiped the system). I know it's not bricked but can't get to a system to use the phone. Any way to solve this mess??

What happens if you factory reset?

Have tried that several times, reboots when finished and boots down to htc one screen and stops.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 10.1

Have run restore in recovery and it says restored but when you reboot it stops when it gets to the htc one screen.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 10.1

Another thing I noticed after the factory reset was that the boot images were the ones from the rom, not the stock ones. Now it is stuck on the white htc screen with the red writing.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 10.1

It has to do with non stock kernels. With my kernel for aosp occasionally it'll sit at the splash screen for up to 5 min. Sometimes flashing something to system helps. When it does this to me I reflash my kernel and it boots right up even though there are zero changes
Sent from my One using Tapatalk

Do you have another Rom you can install? Or a backup you can restore from? Reason why it's stuck on white HTC screen is there is no operating system loaded in it. Go in to recovery do a full wipe and install a Rom.

Tried all day (about to pull my hair out) but could not get the rom in the bootloader using adb..Everytime I selected install zip from sideload it said files not found. Have seen Micro SD adapters in some other threads that are supposed to work on the One. Some of the dudes in the thread said they keep their roms on the sd card and flash them with the adaptor. Anyone think that would work. Sounds like the old days.
Any ideas on what I should do next?

USB to go works I know I've done it.

I ordered the Meenova SD adapter last night because it said it was compatible with the HTC One. Is that what you used?
How did the process work?

You could always flash the stock RUU and copy the rom that way.

Do you flash the ruu with adb? I am having trouble getting the data to the bootloader.

Download the RUU from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2437436
Reboot to the bootloader, go to fastboot
do fastboot oem rebootRUU
After it reboots to RUU, do fastboot flash zip nameofzip
Let the process finish and you should be back on stock.

Once you fix it never wipe the internal storage. I learned the hard way with the nexus 7 lol

Yeah,it was an accident, hit the wrong button while talking to a friend. I guess it was a problem with the kernal that caused it not to be able to reboot and started all this. Thanks for the help and will work on the phone this afternoon. Guess the Meenova OTG usb will be here Monday or Tuesday.

Okay so if you can get into recovery, then you should just flash any ROM from the development section of these forums.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
You flashed a different phones rom. Which means the scripts and the radios and everything is off. Don't flash anything that doesn't have a T989 flashable thing oon it. You got lucly. Most people have a full brick. Be careful next time. And go to the Developers section. Download a stock 2.3.6 or Juggernaut v.4.1 and flash in this order
1. Place file on root of sdcard
2. Reboot recovery and wipe data/cache/dalvik cahce (found under advanced)
3. Flash the rom you desire
4. Reboot.
5. Let it sit for a good 10 minutes

Answered you in the other thread you posted as well ...
IF you can get to download mode, find the Stock ODIN flash for t989, and follow the directions, ODIN does not care how full your SD card is ...
Then just odin. Find a stock one that has an Odin Rom next to he title and flasheed that.
1. Go into download mode, turn off unplugged. Then hold volume up and down and then plug in usb chord.
2. Open up odin 1.85
3. Click the pda part and browse foot your rom.
4.click start and be patient don't touch anything

Yes and NO ...
the term flash or flashing means writing new files to the phone ...
ODIN is pretty much a Samsung factory tool, it will overwrite anything that is on the phone with what you are trying to flash ..
Flashing from CWM recovery is a "Softer" way of doing it, it may or may not wipe, it may or may not replace corrupt files, depending on where and what they are ...
IF you are having major trouble with your phone, and can still get into download mode ODIN is the cleaner way to flash it back to stock, but, read read read read till you understand what you are doing, then read it again ....

[Q] Can't get Galaxy S3 (Tmobile) to boot

So after rooting my recent Tmobile GS3 and then attempting to flash the overclock my phone simply wont turn on. The root did fine, and I was able to install setcpu and everything but the second I installed the overclock my phone shut down. Now whenever I attempt to turn my phone it just flashes the Samsung insignia and then it shuts down. I can get to the Downloading screen (by pressing Volume down + power + home) but can I do anything about that? If someone can help me out that would be amazing. Thanks.
Also, I tried flashing a stock rom with Odin and it keeps failing. If anyone knows anything thank you.
Can you get into recovery? Volume up + home + power
If so then flash back to a nandroid backup or to a new rom or whatever.
If recovery wont boot, try again but look for blue text at the top right corner that says "booting recovery" when the sammy logo comes up. I've had it where my recovery wouldnt boot but I saw that for a split second when I tried. If this is the case, get back into download mode and flash the insecure boot + cwm again with Odin. Then you should be able to get into recovery.
If Odin fails to flash, reboot you're computer and try a different USB cable.

There are a few tricks that can be found in this thread:

Just make sure when you odin/flash something, you are flashing the correct image for your phone/carrier.
same boat here
well I thought I'd give it a try using instructions here. and now I'm hosed. I was able to root and install the ALLINONE (Insecure Boot, CWM & Busybox) rebooted, super user showed up in apps etc. I thought everything was fine. the next thing I tried was disable boot up animation and now the phone won't boot up at all.
I can get into the recovery and download screens but whenever I try to restore I get "can't mount /sdcard/"
The toolkit no longer sees my phone either. When it's plugged in and the toolkit is active, it just cycles over and over "samsung" then "Samsung Galaxy SIII" logo then black screen repeat.
The toolkit keeps giving message either "device not found" or "Waiting for USB debugging to be enabled".

but haven't been able to get Odin to load it ... I have to be in download mode for that to work right?

I tried that a few times to no avail and gave up. figured out that I needed to unzip the stock rom from t-mobile in order for Odin to recognize and load it. That's where I left it last night. So I'm now back to stock and reloading all my apps and settings.
I'm ok with that, this is my first go at flashing/rooting. My phone works ... and for that I'm breathing a little easier. thanks for your reply!

[Q] I tried to install a rom, stuck on boot animation, bootloader crashes

I decided to install Cyanogen Mod on my Nexus. I already rooted it and downloaded rom manager + titanium back-up. I watched a tutorial on how to download and install roms using rom manager and everything seemed to go as planned and Cyanogen 9 was installed. The phone automatically rebooted and the boot animation the Cyanogen started. But after a half hour I realized it was stuck. So I tried to go into recovery mode to restore my backup (of the stock) but when I went there, the phone automatically turn off. It's not when I click, it's just after a certain period. It even turned off while restoring. To make things worse, when I turn it on now, it's stuck on the Google logo with the unlocked slot at the bottom. I hope you guys can help me because I'm starting to freak out.

was it a nexus? maybe/probably not, but if it was, you should have used fastboot. it's officially supported by GOOGLE. if you want to flash a factory image, they tell you to use fastboot. why would we use anything else? a leak? that the community barely really knows anything about?
i'd rather use Heimdall!! (not sure i9250 is supported though.)

Another yellow triangle, can I fix this brick? Verizon Nexus

I have been reading the other threads about similar situation both on here and on galaxynexusforums but I think my situation may be slightly different, if not terribly worse.
I has been running my Verizon Galaxy with BAMF 1.25 and was going to upgrade to 2.4 or whatever is the newest. I was doing it all through CWM recovery, I deleted DATA, and Cache, THEN and where Im pretty sure I screwed the pooch was though CWM recovery I also formatted Data, Cache and SDcard
At that point when I rebooted I got the red triangle with the little android being worked on, I was still able to get in to recovery and fastboot and Download mode, but it would not boot past any of that. My assumption is that I deleted the whole OS and since I formatted everything there wasn't even a backup or any rom to install. Everything was gone. My computer also no longer recognized it as a phone/mobile device or even as storage. I re-installed the all the Samsung drivers and still nothing. My phone is not seen by the galaxy nexus tool kit, odin, or kies
At this point I attempted to go to stock via Odin, to mysid-icl53f-factory-65895fa8. This failed, I got the big red box in Odin and was going to pull the battery as the Odin faq says and do it again, but then the phone booted in to the dreaded yellow triangle exclamation point. This is all my phone does. I can not boot back into recovery, or download or any other possible alternate.
So this is where I am at, booting to the phone/pda..yellow triangle..computer screen and can go no further and my phone is not seen as a functional device on my PC even after installing driers again.
I do have one of those dongles that force the phone to boot to download mode coming from ebay. but without any OS at all (or so it seems) I dont know if it will do anything. I do have insurance on it so I'm not that worried on it, but I would rather not have to pay the deductible and be shamed for my success at bricking what is supposed to be unbrickable.
any ideas?
I am not very experienced, but can you get into boot menu? No, I can't get to any other menu. Power + Vol up or Power + Vol Down or Power + Vol up AND down. Don't do anything. I really think I may have completely formatted the phone to nothing or close too it. I was able to get a new one though warranty however so that should be here in a few days.

Can you enter Download Mode for Odin?
Phone off; Press Vol Down + Home Button at the same time then power on.
If so use the latest 4.2.1 One click exe flash. Brings it back to complete stock no root.
Remember, after the flash with the .exe one click you must
= Boot into recovery and clear both caches (not sure if dalvik is listed in stock recovery.)
= A factory reset.
Otherwise it will just get stuck at the Samsung Logo.

Copy this to an empty microSD card using dd or its WIndows equivalent (copying it as a file will not suffice, guides for using dd are everywhere):
http://www.mediafire.com/download/231uhy6l80jx74n/debrick_sph_l710.img.xz
I recovered my Sprint Galaxy S3 from an international ROM flash using this - the previous owner tried installing the Omega ROM, which I didn't know about until I peeked at the internal storage. Anyway, just turn it on with the card inserted, it should get you into download mode. Remember to take the card out after it boots! Then you should be able to flash a stock ROM with Odin or Heimdall.
Ok, I just had a friend do this today. What is dd? Trying to bring his phone back from the dead.
