[THEME] HTC_vs_GALAXY_S - SENSE THEME - Beta 0.2 - Updated Revert Back

This is my BRAND NEW creation!!
A nice SENSE THEME for our SAMSUNG GALAXY S!!
TESTED ON FRESH JM5​
HOW IT WORKS:
- My theme replace all of .png file in some .apk to looks like HTC Desire;
- It's tested on XWJM5, but it shoud work on any ECLAIR roms;
- Backup all of you sensible data (the update.zip doesn't delete nothing, only replace, but is better do a backup);
- Before flash it do a Nandroid backup with Rom Manager;
- It can be applied on root or unroot GALAXY S;
INSTALL:
- This is an update.zip not a metamorph, so put it in the ROOT of your INTERNAL SD and rename it in update.zip;
- Restart your GALAXY S in recovery;
- Select APPLY UPDATE.ZIP;
- Ready to play )
HOW TO REVERT BACK TO ORIGIN:
- Download the HTC_VS_GALAXYS_REVERT_BACK.zip;
- Rename it to update.zip
- Put it in the ROOT of your INTERNAL SD;
- Start in RECOVERY MODE;
- Flash the update.zip though the STOCK RECOVERY
- That's all!
VARIANTS:
- There are 2 variants of my theme; one is identical of HTC stock rom, the second one has the WHITE NOTIFICATION ICONS;
- Choose what you want;

No Sense widget, i can't replicate it couse are under copyright! Install beautifull widget.

Theme looks awesome but unfortunately i have some bugs.
1st screenshot shows stock task manager with abstract text below icons
2nd screenshot is notification list. there is no correct text on "remove" button. also strange text when turning on wifi/bluetooth
3rd screenshot. when i press volume up or down it shows me "debug"
i think it's becouse i am using another firmware than you.
I had exacly the same problem (with the same bugs) when i have installed wrong Super Circle Battery mod (not designed for my firmware).
I m running JM1. what firmware are you using?

I can't flash it at all with clock work mod recovery
It says its flashed but nothing is changed

Belive me, the only one bug that i've and i'm working on to solve is the second screenshot.
All the rest, nothing. I'm running JM5 but it can be flashed on all Eclair rom. I've installed it on a fresh flash rom, and it's everything ok, no bugs here.
Let me know.

Like i saind on the first post, flash though the stock recovery. DON'T USE THE ROM MANAGER it doesn't flash the rom. Use only the stock recovery!

This is the only one bug thet i've gounded for now:
- installed on fresh stock JM5
- rooted and lag fixed
Try to install a fresh JM5 and flash the theme. Post all bugs whit images that you find! Thanks guys

Hey everbody, here is the Touchwiz Home Launcher from the Sprint GS3 modded to allow wallpaper scrolling. Thansk go out to Toss3, I modded the apk according to his instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27433971&postcount=71
Download the attached(right click and "save as") and flash through recovery
The first one is for ICS, the second is for JellyBean

If it's just a launcher, couldn't this work with the other gs3 variants? Would would be different? I have T-Mobile and would like this feature.

It will probably work with all the US variants. I tried the I9300 one and it didnt work on my device. In order to avoid having to answer a bunch of questions, I posted it for Sprint only, but you can try it.

Is the enabling of scrolling wallpapers the only mod? Also, how would I go about installing/uninstalling this particular APK without root? (reading referenced Touchwiz modding thread now to see if I can figure out without handholding.
If this does what I hope, thanks!
(update: teaching myself to fish, it looks like if I back up the SecLauncher2.apk currently on my device and drop the new one in, I can switch back and forth. Giving it a try.)

If your stock, it might not work. This mod was done with the stock deodexed rom, and yours is probably odexed(since you dont have root). You might be able to install like a normal app, but Im not sure.

I can confirm this works for tmobiles galaxy s3. Im running stock deodexed rom!

Can we install this on AOSP JB roms or is it just for Touchwiz roms?

It requires touchwiz framework.

Why?
If you just install a custom launcher (nova, go, apex, etc) im pretty sure these all have the capability to enable wallpaper scrolling

[MOD][LSJ] TouchWiz with Rotation Support

First of all, I am very new to android development, so please forgive any mistakes I did.
This is just TouchWiz with rotation enabled, no other changes.
I tested it only on Disaster ROM v2, but I guess it should work on any ROM with LSJ base.
Use at your own risk! I could have broken something, no idea.
Requirements:
JB ROM with XXLSJ base
ClockWorkMod Recovery
Install:
Flash from CWM (install zip from sdcard)
Reboot
Done!

[MOD][JB][XWMS1/XWMS3] Universal Stock App - 200DPI

Hi,
I am addicted user of NeatROM and thanks to MyLifeRocks10 now i am addicted user of 200DPI
I tried to use old LS8 from MyLifeRocks10 thread but have too much problems and i decided to spend some time trying to understand how to adjust original
stocks apps to 200DPI and after reading tons of threads and rebooted my phone like 100 times i managed to mod some of them.
DOWNLOAD:
Attention before you use this MOD you need to edit build.prop and change "ro.sf.lcd_density=240" to "ro.sf.lcd_density=200"
- Launcher
grid home screen 5x5, app drawer 5x5
adjusted to 200DPI
- Contacts - adjusted to 200DPI
- Camera - adjusted to 200DPI
- AccuweatherWidget with Main - adjusted to 200DPI
- Calculator - adjusted to 200DPI
- Music Player - adjusted widget to 200DPI
- Video Player - adjusted to 200DPI
- Video Call - adjusted to 200DPI
- XWMS1 - All in One Package - contains all package for using one time flash
- XWMS1 - RESTORE All in One Package - contains all package for restoring if something goes wrong
All app are taked and tested on NeatROM 5.1

This is happen when you are on default 240DPI, you need to be on 200DPI updated first post how to.

Edit: I will write a guide on how to mod these apps when i'm free so that others can adjust these apps to their preferred DPI not just 182 or 200 DPI.

Stock browser don't work on 200DPI you need to use browser from Play Store i recommend you dolphin browser mini.

Try without Contacts the rest will not affect theme, if you use Contacts dialpad will be ok but with default green color.

Updated AccuweatherWidget pack with AccuweatherWidget_Main adjusted to 200DPI.
Working on 3g video call.

You can also use the xposed framework and the per-app dpi to put the stock browser on 240 dpi

[ROOT ONLY] Black Status Bar for E975!

Hello,
in attachment a mod to make status bar black (like nexus)
the png file is a screenshoot
to install it just substitute the lgsystemui.apk with the one in attachment. Then Reboot smartphone before do anything else (otherwise you will 0obtain a systemui error, in this case, reboot anyway and you will solve )

Hello, I tried to install the lg systemui.apk, but after restart it keeps crashing. I set the permissions to default ones and I am running rooted E975 with stock android 4.1.2. Can somebody upload stock lgsystemui.apk, because i forgot to backup mine! .

Somehow, it doesn't seem to work on Epsilon Project v03 ROM... Statusbar just disappears. No FC messages, nothing -- just no trace of the statusbar. Restored the backup, back to normal...

First of all, thank you very much!!! It worked with root browser. I overwrited and after that the system fced continuously! I kept the power button until the system reboot and after that everything was OK! Stock European Rom 10h. Thanks again!

Sorry but i'm in vacation without pc ? but you can be sure that there are no way to make transparent status bar with stock Optimus g launcher. If you want it forget this mod. Please install xposed framework with gravity box module. Than use nova launcher. In this way you can have a perfect transparent status bar. Then if you want white icons too, you must play with gravity box settings, but is not enought, you need a mod to have white data connection icon. Please try this way. For me work perfectly. Bye

O.K. if you can't do it you can't do it ,thanks for the black one it's great,although somoeone else actualy made one but it has some problems it changes the battery to a circle battery whitch is kind of cool,and it translates the notification bar and the running apps to engllish if you want to try it forget what the page says just download the LGSystemUI_2.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225317&page=3 replace it with the original give the right permissions rw-r-r delete the LGSystemUI.odex because it is for deodexed roms ofcourse take a backup first and restart.
