[Q] [SOLVED] BBM for our device? (Got a working apk :D)

Hey, since the official BBM for android is out, and not compatible for our devices, is there any other way round to get it working? Installing an independent APK did not work for me.

I'm looking for the same thing but I can not find anything ...

Yes, Our device falls under Desire C category on the Play Store's Dev Console (Mostly). Even the Desire C doesn't support BBM. Anyways, I'm gonna get a new phone in a month but having BBM for the WFS would be great

Keep patient.. Wait developer modified bbm.apk for armv6

Am also looking for bbm!!!
I managed to update my WFS to android 4.2.2, but I am unable to download it from playstore, if any body knows how to install it on our devices can you please share with us??????????

Ofcourse, cause you just midified the Operating System 4.2.2 but not architecture of your CPU (armv6)
BBM min requarment is armv7 achitecture of CPU

Just bringing this thread back to life, I got a working BBM APK on CM10.1, not sure about other roms.

[DISCUSSION] What users want for Nokia X

Hello everyone.
I've been busy studying for my CIEs. And I'll soon be free from my exams. So I want to know what Nokia X users out there want for their devices?
I mean any type of MOD which you might want. Or a third party app. Or any stuff like that.
Comment with your ideas below and let's see what our brilliant devs can help you with.

- a way to dismiss the blue notification bar on top
- native file manager app
- option to uninstall mobile broadcast since not many countries are using it. hey,it's the first time I ever seen it in a phone.
- is autofocus possible?

Well, if you wanna know what i want (perhaps all of you are in the same opinion with me) at least some of these minuses can be resolve and we can be use them as default on our X device, such as:
Flash player
Live Wallpapers
WMV Codec
VP8 video coded
WebP image coded
I hope devs will do that by create stable, and smooth costom rom. :angel:
I love my Nokia X and it's very sad if my device couldn't be as great as other androids.

1. The blue notification bar is currently with stock rom. However, if you flash CM 11 or other custom ROMs, you'll have the original android bar.
2. Which file manager do you want? Name it and I'll provide.
3. You can do that by simply, going into system-->app and deleting the Mobile Broadcasting app. (Requires Root).
4. I'm sorry that won't be possible as it's a hardware setback.

CM 11 rom is a great rom but it has many issus
so we need another custome rom like omnirom untill all fix in CM11

I believe the developer is already working hard on it. So why don't you wait a few days and let's see if he can deliver?
He even says he's working on a new kernel for the Nokia X. Exciting. No?

1. I just want a way to dismiss it. I dont want my nokia X to look like vanilla android. it would be pointless to have nokia X if I uses vanilla android theme
2. does nokia X have its own file manager? :laugh: seeing brand name on an app drives my mind mad. ASTRO,ES, and all that
3. I dont want to root yet. not just to delete some apps.
4. cant do anything about that,then.

Our dev, David Cruz is working on that and he shall soon have it plus a custom kernel. So stay tuned.

[Q] can Nokia N1 run the intel x86 android 5.0.2?

The N1 run android x86 system. but dont have any google play service. and look like Nokia does not lock the recovery mode. so, I just think that can Nokia N1 run the intel x86 android 5.0.2? does anyone know how to do that?

Nokia N1 has Android 5.0.2 out of the box. Not sure what you're trying to ask.

I'm new for Android device. I found the Nokia didn't lock bootloader. I think it should brush other 5.0.2 rom/system for similar hardware. right now, I got the android x86 iso, Just dont know I can use it to brush my N1 or not.

Why don't you just install the Google Play Store, the Nokia is already running a vanilla version of Android 5.02. My Nokia is working just fine using the Play Store hack found in the other threads, did you even bother reading anything else before posting?

[5.x.x][CM12+] Status of Lollipop and CM12.1 on the Lenovo A3/S6

You may be wondering why these devices haven't received Lollipop yet. The issue is, yet again, the MT8389 processor, which is based off of the MT6589.

Development support for the MT6589 has been (mostly) lost, and consequently, so has support for the MT8389. This means that, until a compatible kernel for 5.x.x appears, the likelihood of both of the devices being upgraded to CM12 or 5.x.x is very low.
That doesn't mean it's not possible, however; simply unlikely.

According to the specs the A3000 has a MT8125. Is support for this also gone?

Yes, I'm afraid this is the Wi-Fi only version of the MT8389.

I was on it..but moved to another..not at all able to boot it up..now there is a hope because of 3.4.67 kernel..again working on it???

Possibility of Android Go in our device?

Android Go is a lighter version of Android to help with the phones having 512mb to 1gb ram. Is there still any developers willing to give it try for our beloved Nokia X?

i don't think our phone can support android 8.1 it not the RAM that you need to make the phone run we have a low CPU and GPU too
so i don't think that but i am going to try to use it i will tell what will be the result that i will get but i think some other dev's can get another result i am still a noob in android development
