Roll back to any NEE 4.1.1 firmware. Change the csc with csc changer, triangle away if needed, flash 4.1.2, factory reset and you're back on warranty with your original csc.
It all worked out anyway.
Flashed 4.1.2
Flashed auto root
Triangle away
Changed csc to NEE
Full unroot in superSu
Factory reset
OTA and Kies success :good:
is it safe to flash csc file with newer versions of roms to have language that we need?

I wanted to try a few custom firmwares on my GT-N7100 Note 2. So I rooted it, installed CWM, backed up original firmware, tested a few roms, restored original.
Problem: Regardless of what I do, I can not restore flash counter to 0. Triangle Away will always leave it at 1. Kies refuses to deal with the firmware as it considers it to be a custom. I have tried several guides on the net, but no luck.
I read somewhere that you might have to download your original firmware in order to be able to reset the counter. When I call *#1234# at this point I get:
AP: N7100XXDMB2
CP: N7100DDDLK6
CSC: N7100OXXDMB1
This is Finland (belonging to Nordic countries). What firmware do you recommend me to restore? I have googled but not found any firmare with all of AP, CP and CSC the same.
What would be the best way for me to restore the phone into original unrooted state?
i m in the same boat (i have a n7105 international), need to 'unroot and back to stock recovery and original firmware' as im returning it back for warranty.
if someone can tell me if the following are correct or not:
My current status:
n7105 - hong kong origin
-CWM recovery & on a custom rom
1. so do i need to flash CWM recovery back to stock recover first?
2. do i need to use triangle away to reset counter to the lowest (lowest is 1 i think, i could never get it to 0)
3. use the 'unroot' option from SU or from Exyno?
4. then do i flash latest stock rom (for my phone origin) via odin?
thakns!

I am on the exact same rom and this is what I did (this is my version tho, thus follow the steps closely):
-1 Reflashed the N7100XXDMA6 Rom again so that the phone will be unrooted.
-2: Download and flash via odin CF_auto root by chainfire (your phone should be stock but rooted now).
-3: Boot up, download and install Triangle away and run it.
-4: Once it reboots after you wipe the counter try to co straight to recovery mode, if youre not fast enough follow step 5.
-5: Start it up in recovery mode (volume up+home+power key).
-6: -wipe cache
-factory reset
-wipe cache.
7 Reboot the phone.
Note afaik resseting the counter only works on stock rooted kernels.

My quote from another thread. Just ignore the rom version, just use yours and it should do the trick
Thanks Matzone!!!
i actually missed this post until just read it now.
I already did what you outline, and it is exactly that!
so somehow we should have this as sticky lol:

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, but still no official update yet. When i click on update it says no updates available. Why is that? I live in Lithuania.
Thanks.
There's no official JB update in Lithuania for the i8160 yet, maybe or the L version.
You can however odin-flash German (DBT) XXMF1, but you will have an European CSC.

But it is going to be right? Do i need to root before odin-flash? Current CSC is LL2 (SEB)
Flashing with Odin is harmless if done properly.
If your CSC is SEB then you have OXE multi-CSC... By installing MF1 you would get OXX multi-CSC which I don't think contains SEB CSC (neither Thailand).
You don't need root permissions to flash with Odin, you just have to boot the phone while pressing VolDown+Home+Power and enter Download Mode, load the files in Odin, connect the phone via USB (and let it install drivers from Kies, which should be already installed but not running) and press Start!
And always remember to Wipe data/factory reset from the recovery menu (VolUp+Home+Power).
Hello i had stock rom 4.1.2 tried to connect with kies but it told me that the CSC is unknown i didnt have EFS backup folder i tried to flas 4.3 INDIAN ROM but my OFFICIAL ROM is KSA and it still Unkown
im planing to flash my KSA stock ROM when it will be available i hope it will solve the problem i heard if i flash the full ROM in CSC in ODin it willl be resloved i have only 1 File called N7100XXUEMK4_N7100ODDEMK1_N7100DDEMJ9_HOME.tar.md5 this is the full ROM i have
if i flashed to the CSC in Odin will it cause problems cause i flashed it in PDA at the first
And if im planing to get back to my stock rom for my region when it will be available 4.3
will i have any problems ?
Thanks.
I rooted my phone for the second time and before I could instal custom ROMS and now I cannot.
Can anyone explain why? Or knows why?

You did not follow the instructions on that video very well at all.
In the video it shows the stock Samsung M919 MDL rom and you
flashed or are trying to flash the MK5 rom which is not the stock
official MDL rom for the Tmobile MDL M919 phone.
You need to go to http://SamMobile.com and download the official
stock MDL M919 firmware and Odin flash it in the PDA slot of odin.
Then you need to root the phone by odin flashing the cf-autoroot.
Once that's done you need to flash a custom recovery like TWRP
or CWM.

So your device is the M919N or V and not the standard US T-Mobile M919?

I dont have TMobile I have Metro PCS But they are pretty much the same thing.
I flashed BTU (UK) firmware to my XSA (AUS) NOTE10+ and now trying to flash to new XSA that was released yesterday but having issues.
After XSA flash, it boots into recovery mode saying your data might be corrupted, I tried to choose try again option but it gives error screen and boot back to recovery mode.
AP, BL, CP and CSC are all choosen in odin, no other setting was touched.
So I flashed back to BTU and my phone restore back fine. I'm using HOME_CSC as I don't want to reset my phone.
Same result for older firmware for both BTU and XSA, I just can't go back.
Anyone having simillar issue? Can this be fixed or only way is full reset?
XSA firmware is N975FXXU1BSLA/N975FOXM1BSLA/N975FXXU1BSL4
BTU is N975FXXS1BSLD/N975FOXM1BSL7/N975FXXU1BSL4
