You have to buy it and I don't think it'll work since terminal fails.

Update: for a weird reason I don't understand I am able to rename the directory but any other operation returns EACCESS Permission Denied. Maybe there's a file inside marked as immutable? Rmdir returns an error that says there are files in the directory.

This WAS NOT MY WORK it is the work of SENIOR MEMBER @SaySayonara .I just came across it and thought why not share it with XM users, PLEASE HIT the THANKS button on this THREAD and the ORIGINAL THREAD.
Before you start:
Must be rooted.
Have a file explorer with root privileges.(I recommend Es File explorer)
Instructions(for newbies):
1)Download bootanimation.zip(DON NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FOLDER)
2)Open your file explorer and navigate to /system/media backup the original bootanimation(OPTIONAL)
OTHERWISE
Move the downloaded bootanimmation.zip file to /data/local with the permission rw-r-r and reboot to see your new bootanimation.

It's easy just download the runtimeskin.zip from the provided link and flash it using flash Gordon or move it manually using root explorer ( Root needed)

Hello XDA.
I'm here to inform you that I have managed to root my Sony Xperia S (lt26i) with towelroot v3, I used the "fix it yourself feature".
EDIT:
Android-version: 4.1.2
Firmware: 6.2.B.1.96
Everything stock!
Proof (check the modstring!):
