[Q] Restored apps wont run

Hi, yesterday I removed a whole load of junk apps thanks to this thread, but I now have a problem and need help with it.
I decided to move 'SemcGallery3D.apk' and 'SemcCamera3D.apk' to the SD card because I didn't want the 3D option, but then afterwards the panorama and 3D panorama don't work also the whole gallery application doesn't work (not just the 3D gallery). I moved the two files back to the system/app folder, but it still doesn't work, is there another step involved in restoring these?
thanks
hold on the app until the dialog box come out, click permissions, check all the read/write/execute box , see if this help

Actually I just checked and the two apps in question aren't rw-r-r, but rwxr-x. So I am guessing that's the problem? I'm still new to all this, so how to I change them back to rw-r-r? Is it to do with how the folder is mounted r/w R/O etc.? Can you explain what's the difference, thanks

use Root explorer (Needs Root) copy the file to the folder, there is a button on the top right side to mount it as RW (re-writable) from RO (Read Only), if you long press on the file, a popup menu will open, from there select permissions, and set it in this order:
R W -
R - -
R - -

System files/apps without the correct permissions will not work, and may even result in bootloops.
Okay thanks, I did this and when I restarted the phone it worked again

REQUEST: Please Create a Bootscreen with this Image

Hi all, I came across this interesting image. It's a GIF and I thought it would look great as a bootscreen animation. I would do it myself, but I'm not exactly savvy with this and I'd rather not cause trouble with my phone. So, if anyone would graciously accept my request, I'd be quite grateful.
This is the image:

}
PS. Please create one for the resolution of the Wildfire S, which is why I'm posting in this section.
I'll make it for you when I have time.
request done
Here you go dude. delete old one first before copying and set permissions to RW,R,R or 644.

Perfect ı tried my htc amaze it works just cause of resolution ı dont see forward buttons.İts possible to make size 960 x 540 ?or how can ı edit this apk for htc amaze?
Hi everyone. I hve Wildfire S, rooted, unlocked but still I get
"busybox cp /mnt/sdcard/Downloads/bluetooth/HtcMusic.apk /system/app
cp: can't create '/system/app/HtcMusic.apk': File exists". When I try to change chmod I get message that it's Read-only system. What I'm doing wrong? Can anyone help me?
ok, I found solution. Root Browser (is much better than Astro or ES file explorers) overwrote original file. Now everything works fine.
Used root browser to copy in system/app, changed permissions to rw r r and played music. Worked like a charm. It's pretty sweet seeing that there when playing music. Also have beats by rockodev flashed into the rom so they go well together.
Love it
