Hi peter,
I experienced the same thing for 4.2.2 CM10.1.5 nightly-20131005 by Mardon, but my assumption is because of the RAM limitation or the SD Card is at stuck when accessing many files at once. I try to reduce background apps and reduce apps that run on sd card by uninstall them, My frequent use apps is now on internal memory, and there are 2 apps in SD that do not have background process. Currently, I don't experience the issue again for about a week.

what recovery do you use ??? use maclaw rom ( very stable ), change the kernel ( to get more speed, and extras)
you can have latest maclaw rom, with new kernel ( MA6 Kernel ), that you can use smartassH3 with zen
use profiles with setcpu for on/off
result :victory:
blazing fast phone, good low battery drain, very stable ( no restarts )

You changed 2 things, the ROM and the radio, so in principle it could be either. With these symptoms I'd think it more likely to be the ROM, or the kernel, than the radio. Could also depend on other settings, e.g. if you are overclocking. Different handsets have different tolerances for some tweaks.

Yeah but you changed your System a lot.
A new radio or the Kernel that ships with RCmixHD maybe uses more battery (=more heat).
Try this: install SetCPU, set governor to performance maybe overclock a bit, watch youtube videos and play games so your phone heats up. If it reboots switch ROM and Kernel back to a Stock ROM and do everthing again. If the Stock ROM doesnt reboot you should stick with it.

[Q] [ROM Q] MIUI version.

Curently been using miui 2.11.16. I just love the miui interface style. The problem is that I'm experiencing a lot of force closes (maps/camera/calendar) or just random freezes. As far as I read this room is compatible with ARC S (+0.4 ghz no big difference curently im running at 1.2ghz) and as I saw in a lot of comments free ram is decreasing with each update (I have around ~100 free with maps uninstalled and no other programs added). Also I cannot apply any kind of theme to it and games (2d ones like fruit slice amazing alex etc.) also randomly freeze/force close.
1.Is this a case of incompatibility or just a version issue?
2.If you are running Miui with no problems, please tell me your current version.
P.s Running Arknight 4,bb77,and got the 0% battery issue if that even matters.

Yes It Is the latest version. And I actualy did wipe clean and flash it 2 times, even formated the sd card -_-. I think this is a version issue...
Very Important Thing I forgot. With this version XLOUD seems not to be working (no difference with it on/off with reboot and the sound is very low (speaker) on headphones is ok. Is this a baseband issue or rom or kernel?

I'm using MIUI v4 2.11.16 w/o any issues and it installed on my Arc on 1st attempt. I'm on KTG 1.52 anzu kernel.
I'm using the official version with my native lng. (translation) add-on (available on official MIUI funsite for my country) plus some additional mods (e.g. increasing internal memory with ext4 SD card partition).
Have no issues at all. All works stable and fluently.
As for X-Loud in latest build (2.11.16) - it definitely works for me.
As it may be important: with each upgrade to newest build I do full wipe (data, cache, dalvik + I always do format the system partition). With MIUI's built-in backup engine getting back to all personal data and settings makes no problem at all for me.
Hope this helps or at least leads to discover your real prob.

When you say Skype fix is included, what do we, the users, need to do to get it working automatically? Just run alsas command or we need to follow the guide with tasker? Also, YouTube is crashing, I suppose because of Tegra? Do you or anyone else knows which is the last working version?

Bubor, thank you once again for all your updates!
Everything is smooth as usual, but starting from 4.4.3 the battery in idle is draining way faster than before. The thing is simple: the phone never goes into deep sleep. Active time is 100% when charger is unplugged. Updating to 4.4.4 didn't fix the problem.
Further narrowed this issue: it comes with Google Play Services updated to 5.0.X. It just active all the time, even if not using CPU power at all. Restored it from backup to 4.4.52, now the phone sleeps again.

I've got 4.8.20 and it still eats the battery quite fast. And I must say that I'm always trying to do things that should make the battery last longer:
1. I usualy use 2G (switch to 3G only when using internet)
2. I turn off wifi when not needed
3. I switch the phone in airplane mode for the night.
4. I use Greenify app for freezing apps which are set to work in background and I don't need them to work that way.
5. Turn on bluetooth and GPS only when needed.
Like @Makshow I also noticed that the phone isn't going into deep sleep almost at all.

That google play services updated themselves to 5.0.82 before my manual update. And one shouldn't upgrade them manually from pa gapps, that update broke push messages for me.
Old gapps in this ROM has Services version 4.4.51-038, the -038 part means this version is for 480 DPI screen, while we have 240 DPI. Maybe, that was the reason why they updated themselves when I installed 4.4.3 ROM. Or maybe, they are just updating on some schedule...
I downloaded this file: Google Play Services 4.4.52 (1174655-034) from xda, and it's good so far - push is working, phone is sleeping. Will test some more.
Camera issue
Hi,
After a few days using 20140702 rom, I started to have problem with camera. It crashes all the time it's being run. Yeah, I know that @bubor wrote in OP that one of the issues is: "Video recording may crash with default (only?) app", but it's video recording, and I have crashes with camera. What's more strange is that the camera worked OK through a few days since installing the rom.
I've already cleared cache and data in the camera properties. I've even cleared cache and dalvik cache from TWRP level. And nothing. The camera still crashes. Any suggestions?
One more thing. During the last night my device rebooted. I wouldn't even know this, but I looked to uptime statistics of lately mentioned AeroControl app. Do you guys have such unexpected reboots?
---
Edit: the problem with camera has been resolved. It was just about full internal storage. After making some room, the camera started to work again.

[ROM] ColorOS 2.0.8 STABLE KITKAT FIND7/7A lite edition R3

I will keep this ROM updated, always help when I can, and open to suggestions that users may want implemented into the ROM. My goal is to keep the ROM Clean, Stable, with great performance without compromising battery life.
This ROM has had the following MODS

Improved GPS
Ad blocking hosts file.
Super SU - FULL ROOT! Remember to grant andriod system root access on first boot!
Build prop mods
420 DPI - (sorry QHD users)

It does NOT flash recovery. So if you have TWRP 2.8.6.0 then it won't get replaced with OPPO recovery.
Removed Apps
Engineering mode
Google search
Google Drive
Hangouts
Google TTS
Chrome
Google mags
Google books
Glass lock screen
Facebook
Google music
IFly speech
Play games
More to come soon...
First of all download the ROM here and save it to your SD card
If you have stock recovery you will need to go into fastboot mode (hold power + vol up until the phone vibrates)
With you phone in fastboot boot and connected to USB (make sure you have installed oppo drivers) flash the TWRP img file.
Reboot the phone into recovery (Pwr + vol down)
In recovery select advanced wipe select everything except internal and external storage.
Then go to install and select the rom you have downloaded.
Enjoy.
I have found this to be a very stable/fast ROM with very few problems.

Battery life has improved a bit, but there is more free RAM available and less processes running in the background.
Here are the tweaks I have included.
Does the error notification (3 dots) is being repaired?

Yes i saw that, so i hope there isn't a problem here just did advance wipe and flashing it now i will be over in a sec..
EDIT:
It flashed perfect so far everything is fine no problems what so ever, however if i should point out one thing, it uses around 1gig of ram now, on my old 1.2.6i were i had deleted some stock apps it used about 790 - 810
So i used a bit more ram, i guess that the normal 2.0.3 uses even more..

Yeah, oppo's apps are a bit bigger, I was going to take them out of the image, but then there is no point on having ColorOS if I do that.
I would recommend to all users to uninstall unused apps. (for example oppo music eats ram) You might need rom toolbox app to help you with this.

I'm running it right now, but unfortunately can neither confirm nor deny if Android Pay is working since I live in a country where Android Pay is not (yet?) available.
So im running the rom right now and its all fine except that the battery seems to drain faster than its charging with a 1.5 amp charger.

That's weird indeed, I'm running mine on a 2A charger right now and everything is like with the stock Sony ROM. I had a few apps on my phone which drained the battery pretty heavily before I used Greenify in BOOST mode (btw, systemless Xposed works so far with this ROM).

It definitely works with the Single SIM version, I can neither confirm nor deny if the ROM works with the dual SIM version since I don't have the dual SIM version. From what I can tell the drivers I used don't seem to be compatible with the dual SIM version. If you want to give it a shot, though, feel free to do so and I would kindly ask you to report back with your results.
Waiting for the version for E6533(Dual Sim)
Thx
So i've been testing the rom (rooted) now for 3 days on my E6553 (single sim) and i would say that it's a good rom but right now i wouldnt use it as a daily driver, i (at least) get random freezes and generally a realy slow and jaggy experience when compared to Sony stock firmware .224/.253. And the fact that the Back camera doesnt work in this rom makes it impossible for me to use since i take a lot of pictures and use snapchat. I experienced many problems with charging like the device draining faster than its charging and at sometimes just would not charge at all, tested with 4 different chargers and with another rom. There is also a problem with i think the kernel because when i was watching netflix or youtube after 3-5 minutes the video would start lagging really bad because the cpu was basically sleeping with only one core at about 400 mhz until i tapped the screen so input boost was activated and the device could render the video properly. (the device was not in any kind of power saving mode) If someone continue to develop this rom ide be glad to test the builds for bugs and etc! :cyclops: i would give the rom 6/10 doughnuts, For now im switching back to Stock .253

I also noticed the rather slow experience, especially when installing apps and using the device (especially while switching apps). As for YouTube, I just tried to replicate your issue with the slowdown, but was unable to do so. The back camera not working is afaik an issue all custom ROMs built with the Sony drivers suffer right now (which I also used when compiling this ROM).
Speaking of compiling the ROM, I tried for the last like 4 or 5 days to get another compilation run. I don't know if I will be able to get it to working again (and I did it exactly the same way as I did on my two successful builds). It doesn't seem to matter if I do it on a fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10 or on one I already used for a build, but if I'm lucky enough to be able to select cm_ivy as the device to build for, mka clobber and mka bacon both fail after like a second with the error message that the mk file for the sepolicy cannot be found (which is true, the file is not present, but the same was the case with the other two successful builds).
So all in all, I know the camera isn't working properly (which was an issue I also had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM), but (at least for me) the audio is working without any problems with this ROM (which was an issue I had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM, where I was unable to listen to music via the 3.5mm jack), and I cannot seem to get the building process to run for whatever reason.
I think this rom, should be better taken into account ...
The Cyan and 'has always been one of permanti rom.
If there was a way to install it without problems on my E6533 dual sim, I would install immediately ...
