You changed 2 things, the ROM and the radio, so in principle it could be either. With these symptoms I'd think it more likely to be the ROM, or the kernel, than the radio. Could also depend on other settings, e.g. if you are overclocking. Different handsets have different tolerances for some tweaks.

Its caused by overheating. Do you use SetCPU to overclock?
Contact HTC Support, unroot your Phone and send it in.

Yeah but you changed your System a lot.
A new radio or the Kernel that ships with RCmixHD maybe uses more battery (=more heat).
Try this: install SetCPU, set governor to performance maybe overclock a bit, watch youtube videos and play games so your phone heats up. If it reboots switch ROM and Kernel back to a Stock ROM and do everthing again. If the Stock ROM doesnt reboot you should stick with it.

my autorotation stopped working :((

Is this hardware fault u think? Where is the sendor located?
Download this app, called Sensor View:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bytemystery.sensorview&hl=ro
and switch to accelerometer, orientation, and gyro, and see if it shows anything when you move the device. If it doesn't, it probably is a hardware problem.
Had this once
Hi,
I also had this once with Android Revolution HD (4 or earlier..) Programs like the suggested showed absolutely no reaction from the gyroscope so I really thought I ruined something.
Wiped everything and flashed a stock rom, that helped at last.
It might however actually be the gyroscop defect...

I tried the app. The values didnt change.
My gyroscope isnt working either btw tried few games and can steer to left and right.
Im gonna do a stock flash and if it still dont work, deliver it in for warranty fix.
I'll let u know if its a software issue.
I am running stock rom and I don't know if the Note 2 is supposed to work upside down (I use it like that all the time when I am charging it in portrait mode) but it doesn't so I installed Ultimate Rotation Control (a hold over from the stock nexus 7 rom days when it wouldn't autorotate). It should work in your situation, try it and let us know.
Same thing happened to me but i found out it was kernel related, im on omega rom and im now using neak, all ok now.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium HD app
I flashed omega 7 and it worked. but then i flashed redpill kernel and it didnt work again
good thing it aint the hardware fault!

that's good
Ok here's the dilema..
perseus and redpill give the autorotation/gyroscope problem. while Neak, Notecore and other kernels that dont have fatex support dont give that issue!
The sad part is that I MUST have fatex support so i can swap my ext sd with int sd.
any other kernels besid eredpil & persues that lets me do that??
also .. the main q is... why did this suddenly start happening? I used those kernels before without any gryo/rotation issues.
ok... flashed a few times and now its working as it did before.
running wanam rom + perseus and ext/int sd swap!

Had the same issue...i was swapping between cm 10.1 and jb leak and suddenly autorotation was all over the place(not coming back to portrait) even after reflashing clean instal(cm10.1 or jb leak)...for me the fix was kind off lucky...disabled(unselect) calibration in cm10.1 under system settings/system/calibration and it all came back to normal...
may come handy for others too

[Q] Viper DHD - phone rebboting when taking pictures with flash

I'm on ViperDHD 2.1.3, coming from Blackout 3.2.
After flashing the new ROM, I am experiencing this issue: everytime I need to take a picture with flash, my Desire HD reboots.
Anyone can help me? Is it a ROM issue? Kernel maybe?
Thank you.
Probably battery issue.
Try with another battery or try with another rom.

Thank you, but this is not what I really asked. I was wondering why I have this problem only with this new ROM.
Anyhow, it is fair enough to say that if I want to solve the problem I can flash another ROM.
Full wipe? It's probably got to do with the ROM's flash intensity and an older battery. Maybe the battery works with other ROMs with lower flash intensity. I would give a new battery a try if you like the ROM. Even if it doesn't work, batteries are less than $10 last time I checked.
it isn't a ROM bug, maybe you flashed sense 4+ camera in aroma which is unstable
I had the same problem with my DHD and it solved by replacing the battery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1720677
I am using Venom Rom and I have no issue like that..
Note: before replacing the battery do this:
1- backup your SD card.
2- Format your SD card.
3- do full wipe for your DHD and it mean everything (system,DATA,Battery state, boot,SD card)
4- flash any ROM you like - ViperDHD 2.1.3, and see if the issue is gone or not.
- If not so you have battery issue and it need to be replaced,

Tahnk you torxx... first of all for the amazing ROM!!! I'm using stock camera and I cannot understand this issue. I'll try and flash again the ROM, maybe something went wrong even if I performed a full wipe.
Anyhow, I tried a different camera from the market and it works , so this one can be a solution too.
Which app .?
I am facing this problem too tried other roms also, issue is in every Rom . battery timing is good . Flash light application is working . But flash with camera is causing reboot
---------- Post added at 12:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 AM ----------
It is ok with stock rom but other custom rom ( aokp , cm 10.1 , pacman, viperdhd ) cause reboot with flash on camera picture . any solution ?
Video recording with flash on is working. Only snap shots cause reboot .
I had same issue on my 2 years old DHD. New battery completely solve the problem with flash. Some other users reported the same.

I bought new battery and problem is solved.
try "Force GPU rendering"
Settings -> Developer options -> Force GPU rendering
it might help especially if you have stock S4 camera, the one that comes originally with ViperDHD
it happened to me and this just fixed it right away
hope it helps
battery
I think it's related to the battery. You try to change one other battery performance outcome. If not then you should update the Viper 2.2.0

I'm running it right now, but unfortunately can neither confirm nor deny if Android Pay is working since I live in a country where Android Pay is not (yet?) available.
So im running the rom right now and its all fine except that the battery seems to drain faster than its charging with a 1.5 amp charger.

That's weird indeed, I'm running mine on a 2A charger right now and everything is like with the stock Sony ROM. I had a few apps on my phone which drained the battery pretty heavily before I used Greenify in BOOST mode (btw, systemless Xposed works so far with this ROM).

It definitely works with the Single SIM version, I can neither confirm nor deny if the ROM works with the dual SIM version since I don't have the dual SIM version. From what I can tell the drivers I used don't seem to be compatible with the dual SIM version. If you want to give it a shot, though, feel free to do so and I would kindly ask you to report back with your results.
Waiting for the version for E6533(Dual Sim)
Thx
So i've been testing the rom (rooted) now for 3 days on my E6553 (single sim) and i would say that it's a good rom but right now i wouldnt use it as a daily driver, i (at least) get random freezes and generally a realy slow and jaggy experience when compared to Sony stock firmware .224/.253. And the fact that the Back camera doesnt work in this rom makes it impossible for me to use since i take a lot of pictures and use snapchat. I experienced many problems with charging like the device draining faster than its charging and at sometimes just would not charge at all, tested with 4 different chargers and with another rom. There is also a problem with i think the kernel because when i was watching netflix or youtube after 3-5 minutes the video would start lagging really bad because the cpu was basically sleeping with only one core at about 400 mhz until i tapped the screen so input boost was activated and the device could render the video properly. (the device was not in any kind of power saving mode) If someone continue to develop this rom ide be glad to test the builds for bugs and etc! :cyclops: i would give the rom 6/10 doughnuts, For now im switching back to Stock .253

I also noticed the rather slow experience, especially when installing apps and using the device (especially while switching apps). As for YouTube, I just tried to replicate your issue with the slowdown, but was unable to do so. The back camera not working is afaik an issue all custom ROMs built with the Sony drivers suffer right now (which I also used when compiling this ROM).
Speaking of compiling the ROM, I tried for the last like 4 or 5 days to get another compilation run. I don't know if I will be able to get it to working again (and I did it exactly the same way as I did on my two successful builds). It doesn't seem to matter if I do it on a fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10 or on one I already used for a build, but if I'm lucky enough to be able to select cm_ivy as the device to build for, mka clobber and mka bacon both fail after like a second with the error message that the mk file for the sepolicy cannot be found (which is true, the file is not present, but the same was the case with the other two successful builds).
So all in all, I know the camera isn't working properly (which was an issue I also had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM), but (at least for me) the audio is working without any problems with this ROM (which was an issue I had with the 32.2.A.0.224 stock ROM, where I was unable to listen to music via the 3.5mm jack), and I cannot seem to get the building process to run for whatever reason.
I think this rom, should be better taken into account ...
The Cyan and 'has always been one of permanti rom.
If there was a way to install it without problems on my E6533 dual sim, I would install immediately ...

New phone setup --- help

Hi Zuk fans,
I just bought Zuk z2, two days ago. I heard like, there are heading issues with this phone. So I would like to under clock the phone. Currently, I'm on 7.o stock..
My question....
1) can I under clock CPU to 1.9 on stock ROM? If yes, how to do that and plz let me know the process and what all required for this.
2) I would like to downgrade to 6.0 as this enables 24 bit dac on our device. So, how to downgrade on a locked and non rooted phone???
3) is there any custom kernel that supports stock OS???
This information might help other new users as well...
Thanks

Don't know anything about underclock, because I don't interested in such operations.

You can use kernel audiutor to underclock
@srihari210 seems that jaguar kernel is working on stock rom, although it wasn't supposed to, but with some limitations, as you can see in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74071330&postcount=296
i hadn't used the stock rom for much time, but you can try to root it (with magisk maybe, i don't know) and set cpu frequencies with kernel adiutor
good luck
But my device don't have any heating issue? It runs on stock frequency 2.15.

Shall i disable dm-verity ?
