I've seen some talk and a post with the correct apns for 4.3 ROMs. I was wondering where these files are located and how would I go about replacing them. I want to try it on my phone.

I'll change it to Q&A. Is it what i should do?
There are mods for this. You could just use Omega ROM 5.0 and it already comes with the tweak so that more than 5 contacts can be joined.

Code:
<CscFeature_Contact_SetLinkCountMaxAs>[B]99[/B]</CscFeature_Contact_SetLinkCountMaxAs>
Enjoy...

This did not work for me.
At first there was no such file. I copied over /etc/feature_default.xml and pasted as /system/csc/feature.xml and made changes to above line as well as sms to MMS convert limit. Neither worked. Its as if the app doesnt even read the files. Any ideas?

If you don't have the file, copy from ROM that have csc so you won't alter the syntaxes inside the the file that set features..
What rom that you use? I implement it in couple of rom without hassle. Maybe you should try with rom that contains csc. Open it with 7zp or winzip and edit the related file.
Sorry for my english...

Strange...
Are your ROM rooted? what ROM version ?
Anyway, attached is the requested file in zipped format. Just extract and then copy to /system/csc and set permission (644, or RW R R)
Hope this can help...
Guys he uploaded the file you needed, why no thanks button. You guys fail!!
If somebody wants No home button lag upload here the android.policy.jar file from framework folder and i will modify the file for you. The original thread is HERE.
This thread is for helping people who can`t decompile/compile files.
I would appreciate if you can modify my android.policy.jar file. I'm using stock lsd rom. Can I copy the modified file with root explorer straight over the old one? Thanks in advance
Something is wrong with your android.policy.jar file. upload it again pls.

Is this one working? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ftl1sxi13lw164l/android.policy.jar
I copied the file with root explorer from system/framework or is it wrong way to handle the file?
Still something wrong with it.
What rom do you have? odexed or deodexed?

I think it is odexed (stock nordic LSD downloaded from sammobile and flashed with odin)
edit. Maybe we should forget whole thing if that file doesn't work. I can live with that lag and don't wanna bother you if my file is incompatible and can't get it work
To modify your file i would have to deodex-it/modify/odex-it back and i dont have time for that. If you want you can install a stock doedex lsd rom

Allright lets forget whole thing. Maybe in some point I change my rom but not at this point full wipe again. Thanks for your help.
Does this work for AOKP roms? I see the original thread that it's for LS8 only. Just wanna try my luck
I didn`t try aokp so i can`t answer you on that.
i am in the process of cooking up a rom but wanted to know the file that its located in so that i could place a wallpaper pic so when the rom is flashed that image could appear on the phone
I think in either the framwork-res.apk or within the launcher.apk I might be wrong, good chance of it, but gonna try and help anyways.
where is the launcher.apk located?

Depends on the rom, but should be in /system/app what ever the launchers name is.

In touchwiz its SecLauncher2.apk, and if you're doing a CM ROM its trebuchet.apk. You will find them in /system/app/.

Hi all! Here I have posted the Sprint Spark bootanimation used on the new ZVA update . You can download it here. AOSP ROMs: You can use it on your LG G2 or other devices running an AOSP ROM by downloading Root Browser (or some equivalent) and going into system then media and then placing the bootanimation_sprint.zip in there. Then rename the bootanimation.zip file already in there to something like bootanimation_old.zip and rename the new bootanimation_sprint.zip to bootanimation.zip. Then reboot, and if done correctly you should see the sprint spark boot logo Good luck! Comment if you need any help or if I confused you in any way
Also, on CM 10.2 when you update it would change back the boot animation to the stock one. Not sure if it still does this, but let me know if it does .
Youdug's directions for ZVA/ZV8/ZV7: Name bootanimation_sprint.zip, push to system/media, rw-r-r permissions
I like switching those sometimes

Yeah. The Google Edition S4 bootlogo I used to use on my S4 before getting the G2. This bootlogo just looks really nice and all of the old Sprint bootlogos really sucked haha. If you're interested I can add some other bootlogos I have saved from some ROMs, they look pretty cool.
These are instructions for aosp based roms.

Are you running the ZVA update that you posted? If so, do you know the directions for how to do this on there? I can add you in the description for credit and thank you for it

You can also install it using romtoolbox by going to boot animations and selecting it from "local" this way it changes the permissions for you, took me like 2 seconds to install this way, worked perfectly!
I actually used rom toolbox pro... not sure if that makes a difference.
I'm not using an AOSP based ROM, but I'd really like to have a more stock boot animation. Can anyone provide the directions for using this with a stock based ROM?
It still should be in system/media and the directions will be the same(just rename to whatever the rom has the bootani named

ROM toolbox didn't work for me because it looks like it couldn't overwrite the file that was there.
The directions didn't work either until I figured out how to change the permissions using ES File Explorer. Got it working. Beautiful work people.
Now, my only question is... I've found a bunch of cool looking generic animations. They all have different sizes/resolutions. Which one does the LG G2 use?

Theoretically a 1080p+ boot logo should be fine, however, it varies. So the best thing to do is try the one you like and see if it looks right. At worst it'll just look out of res and you could replace it.
Can someone kindly provide bootsamsungloop.qmg file from stock ROM of SM-805 or SM-800
Thank you in advance.

I was trying to avoid download whole 1.4G. People use to be more helpful.
Anyways for anyone who wants to remove carrier branding. Copy attach files in same structure with any root permission file explorer. Change permissions to rw- r-- r--.
Attaching stock boot animation files and sound.

Ashyx is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable people on the forum. He gave you a simple answer that for most of us would be more than enough given how few seconds it takes to download 1.4gb files. You asked for the file and if no one posted it I think it is kind when someone posts a response on how to get it. You might not want to be so dismissive and rude to one of the people who provides countless answers to others on here. Just my two cents...one could say people used to not be so lazy you know.

It was not pointed at Ashyx. Rest is self explanatory. Not everyone has fast connections and unlimited bandwidth.
