What's everyone's favorite rom so far? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Trying to decide which Rom I should go with. What's everyone's favorite? Has anyone tried all of the roms and can give a comparison? Thanks

I would like to know this as well. At first I was thinking I would flash to jedi elite v2 but now I'm thinking wicked rom. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Stainless.
sent from my sm-9005.

I'm on a stock deodexed, debloated rom with a custom theme right now, but Darthstalker is really good. The only reason I'm not running it is because the default font gives me a headache(I changed it, but it's still there in the browser). I had problems & glitches on Wicked, but I haven't tried the latest version. Have yet to try Jedi, but I'm getting the urge to flash again soon so I may try that one next.

Thanks for your input! Was considering the stock deodexed one also with the aosp theme.

I liked wicked a lot, haven't tried darthstalker, and I'm currently loving Jedi v2. I've been on Jedi since my note 2.

There's a stock ROM with an AOSP theme built in? If so, can you post a link to it?

If you want a no-nonsense, "it just works" rom, it's the best option IMO. Not that the custom roms aren't good! But with stock you can really tweak it & make it exactly your own.

Nope, but there is a flashable AOSP theme available here. I've only tested this on stock deodexed, but theoretically it should work with any M17-based rom.

Stock, rooted, with Xposed + Wanam + Music2SD hacks...
until... the nano-second a CyanogenMod 10.3 (or 11?) KitKat alpha with a working Camera is released.

im currently enjoying darthstalkers rom right now. v4 is believe is the latest version. i tried jedi and also enjoyed it, but i like darthstalker's rom a little more. have yet to tried wicked or anything else.

what's the reason you like darthstalker's rom a bit more than jedi?

Have not tried Darthstalker but I have been extremely happy with Jovy23's roms in the past on my S3. I will say however if you want a rom that you can tweak the theme in Aroma, with Xposed and Wicked Rom control or flash a stock theme and is blazing fast, super stable and with ridiculous battery life...WICKED v2.1! Trust me you will not be disappointed.:good:

Darthstalker is my current ROM of choice as well. I mainly really like the dark themed apps like Gmail and PlayStore. I also really like the fact that I can flash it to automatically have the APN's set for AT&T. I've personally tried Jedi and Wicked, and Darthstalker is my fave.

I like darthstalker and Jedi elite. I switch back and forth a lot. Have yet to really try other roms

It only depends on which side of the Force you choose. Both are good roms but if you're full of anger (as I am, about TW crap) then Darth might be the one.

Best JB ROM for TORO PLS?

I need to fix my friends Toro that he tried to load a junk version of JB. I'm looking for TWO answers here, most stable and working versions of stock JB AND AOSP JB...
THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANY HELP!

There is no best ROM. Just try them all or just go stock. If you don't need customization and only want smooth and stable ROM, just stay stock. Nothing wrong with that.

There isn't stock JB for Toro or ToroPlus.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827986
this is the best rom i have tried. after flashing it i have no reason to flash anything else. completely stock aside from a reboot menu, sms split (which some people report it bugged but it works fine for me), and some optimizations. the thing is snappy, buttery smooth and absolutely rock-stable. not one reboot yet and everything just plain works. just be sure to format data/cache/system before flashing.
take it from a former crack-flasher: i haven't found a better rom for any device i've owned.
The best is the one everyone is using. And each person is using a different ROM
What does that tell you? They are all best!

[KERNEL][TW] Stock JB leak & official kernels v3 [11/16/2012]

These are CWM flashable zips of the stock TW JB kernels...
I made these so users don't have to reflash their whole rom.
These will possibly work with any of the other JB leaks. (I know UVLI6 can use UVLI7 kernel & vise-versa)
Enjoy!

On ICS they would generally mess up the auto rotation, but work otherwise.
Rushing, thanks a lot for this, will be flashing soon.
Any indication the new infamous wipes are needed for flashing the telus 4.1.2? (versus TMo?)

Thanks Rushing. Been waiting to try this, but didn't want to have to go through Kies or ODIN and reroot. Knew someone would come through.
Thanks, a lot. Maybe people can use the telus one for the base of their ROMs now. It's clean of bloat, tethering is native so you don't have to mess around, etc. I mean it's pure TW. I know most custom ROMs are debloated. But where TMO is concerned it can never be clean enough.

Look around, we don't really want to do your searching for you if you're going to be picky, I used to use HyperDrive when I wanted a stock ROM and it worked fine for me, don't remember any bugs. If the thread hasn't been replied to in a while, chances are it's not being developed anymore.
Just check the android dev and original android dev section I'm sure you'll find something to your liking.

First your going to have reception issues with majority of custom roms. But it is easy to fix most issues that can occur.
My faves in order for 5.* sm-n900t are
Pac-rom - very easy to customize and tweak. Also light and fast. It's built from the best parts from many different roms.
Dompop - cool to use lots of different mods and such. Haven't used the latest nightly but one from a month ago had issues with lte signal but was simple to fix.
Cm 12.1 - although not as good as cm10 or cm12 was, 12.1 is a great Rom that shows off the experience the developers have gain over the countless roms for countless devices they've done.
Reply back and I can do you a quick tut and direct links to files needed. Currently using twrp and pac-rom 5.1.2

If you want to do official 5.0 the just use Odin and open up lollipop in it and flash. If any force closes the clear cache and stuff followed by reboot. If you going to kitkat I usually install tw lp clean then do the down grade since I find that note 3 will usually have issues any other way. Make sure you do backups of you modem and efs always in case of corruption.
Personally I just use full backups so I have all my apps logins and such on booting.

To be honest with you it was FC a lot and I couldn't get it to work right. Which Kernel are you using?
Which camera did you choose in Aroma - N4 or S6? I was thinking to pick the N4 because it might have better S-pen support, on the other hand maybe the S6 has more advanced features being of the newer software.
I was wondering if in general Samsung might be trending to lighter apps, less menu options, etc in the S6/N5.

I had stock official 5.0 on N900T. First I installed Norma S6 but a lot of bugs. I only do full wipe format from stock 5.0 to Norma s6 and then I have done same from Norma S6 to DarkLord N5. Kernel is DarkLord, thats I got when I installed DarkLord N5 RC.
