Hello,
I just install CM Android 4.2.2 and then SuperSU and for some reason I lost root afterwards! Uninstalled, reinstalled, etc and now I cant get root back.
What happened and how do I get root back?
Thank you

Have you got the correct/latest su binary?

So i am a little confused.
Back on Gingerbread i had my phone rooted and was just using adblock and Titanium backup on the stock rom. SU worked fine and everytime i booted up TB or Adblock it always showed up with the "application has been granted SU access" or whatever.
When i updated my phone to stock ICS through Kies, i couldnt use TiTbackup anymore so i re-rooted my phone using some program i saw on here (it was not ODIN).
After that my Titanium Backup worked fine again as well as Adblock.
Now i am trying to jump into CM10/AOKP but i cannot seem to flash TWRP and superuser wont update (its telling me i dont have root access).
What should i do? Just try to re-root via Odin and flash the newest version of Superuser? Or will that screw things up considering i have SU already installed.
Thanks for any help.
Did you restore using CWM?

Why? Its the factory Rom on right now, i havent changed anything on it.
Just got Root Checker and now its saying i dont have root access.... le sigh.
I can still get into CWM, is there a way to flash something to give me root access?

The reason I asked, was because CWM has issues with setting the correct access, and if you restore, you lose root.

Should i just try reflashing SU? Or would that brick or ruin my phone?
I think the reason Titanium backup and Adblock are still working are because that is what i was using before i went to ICS and it maintained SU permissions.
Think SU might have just gotten corrupted?
Hi All!
I'm stuck in the state where I cannot complete root after update. I have no idea why this happened. I used autoroot first time on a stock. Everything worked like a charm. However In order to install update I have installed xposed and few modules to hide reset flag. After that I was able to update stock. Problem is that after this running autoroot and installing stock recover does not help. I not getting root despite the fact that I see instalation successfully completed and other people report success.
So question is - were to get SU binaries for P600 and where to put them? I'm able to reboot in TWRP using ADB if this matter.
I would also glad to reflush latest stock, but I do not know how to do it, because KIES says i'm up to date.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! Now I'm rooted again!
I have an LG G3 on T-Mobile, running android 4.4.2 and my software version is D85110r. I downloaded and installed Stump Root and when I load the app it says "Device is already Rooted". Then I remember I had previously rooted the phone last summer when I got it. But I'm having issues with several apps not working because of root permission. So then I download and install SuperSU and when I run it, it gives me the message, "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it." It then says something about if you have android 4.3 you need to re-root your phone. How do I proceed? Do I need to un-root my phone and then re-root? Thanks for any help you can provide!
Anyone?
same here. I am not on 4.3 but still getting the same message. Fix?

Hello! I had no problems rooting my F400k with this root tool.. I also tried rooting with Stump but it failed many times.. I suggest format your phone then try this root tool. Look at number 5 of this post.
Attached is the root tool. Good luck

This thing does not work as of JANUARY 17. The phone does not go into recovery mod, but just restarts once you click run.bat file

You've flashed other root tools like Stump, etc.. right? It probably left some files behind after unrooting.. Factory reset and try that root tool again.. I've always used it and rooting was a breeze!:fingers-crossed::good: If you have updated to the latest firmware then maybe rooting isn't possible at the moment. Try downgrading to the previous version you had after you've factory resetted and used that root tool.. Good luck mate!
Hi there,
I'm actually in trouble : I rooted my g3 and installed cm 12.1, no problem about this. But when I try to launch an app which require root access, for instance lucky patcher, it says "no root access". Now here is the problem, I did activate root access in the developer's options so why isn't it working?
More over I tried to root again with one click rooters like kingroot, kingoroot or towel root, but they all failed. I installed superSU but it always says "update su binary" that make my phone reboot each time I try...
Does someone have a solution to my problem ?
Finally I'd like to specify that I'm French so I apologize if I did mistakes in my text ?

Are you sure of having put "apps and adb" in the root settings? If yes have you tried re-flashing the rom?

Yes I did
Do I risk to lose something if I try to re-flash the rom?

Try going on twrp, wipe dalvik cache and cache. Go to reboot and press system if twrp doesn't display a message saying your phone isn't rooted, do you want to root it? It means there is a problem with the ROM it self not finding root access
Tanks a lot guys it worked ! Just after entering the pin's password each application was asking to get root access !

Running N910PVPU4DPC1 [http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/development/rom-t3352832]
It's been running fine for the past month or so, then yesterday, I went to run Titanium Backup, and it said my phone no longer had root access.
---------------------------------------------
SuperSU
There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. There is a problem!
If you just upgraded to Android 5.0, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!
---------------------------------------------
I've tried to re-root via CF-Auto-Root, it'll complete without error, but still no root access.
Anyway I can get root back without blowing out and starting from scratch?
If you have recovery just flash SuperSU itself.

Thanks for your reply SaintZ93.
Just tried that via https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip
Uninstalled my previous version of SuperSU, booted to TWRP 3.0.2-0, no errors on install, fire up SuperSU, I get the same error message as before.
I was really hoping to get SU back with out having to go and reinstall everything. Doesn't look like it's going to work out that way.
Actually I just noticed the same thing, its quite weird, I lost root also. I had root working fine with PD1 now its gone.
I believe a security update was pushed, well at I know one was on my Sprint Note 4, and I think it auto installed that's what made me lost root.
I simply flashed supersu from TWRP and I had root again.
Don't know if this would help, but I turned off firmware updates on my phone and haven't had an issue for the last 3 days.
I think the update was pushed out on Tuesday or Wednesday because I noticed I didn't have root on Thursday.

I believe that the SuperSu that comes with that ROM is systemless, which you would need to flash SuperSu 2.68
I am in the same boat.

can I stall SUPERSU 2.68 with stock recovery? how?
I extracted the 2.68 zip but can I install without a custom recovery?
