If not, then do you have a link to the rom you tried to use in Odin?

You need to Odin back to stock. Factory Reset on CM10 is not going to take it back to the stock ROM.

[Q] Unable to downgrade.

I updated my note 2 to the 4.3 OTA and I hate it. The bluetooth on that version does not work with my car stereo. I tried to flash out of the box ROM LJC via ODIN and it appeared to work but it will not boot past the Samsung Galaxy Note II screen. It is unable to get into recovery, I can get into download mode however. After a few tries trying to reflash via ODIN I got error firmware corrupted please update via Kies. I went to Kies and was able to get my phone booting and working again but it is back on the 4.3 update.
Anyone know any way to get the phone downgraded to the previous version before the 4.3 OTA.
I am not rooted btw.

Root via kingo app and then install custom recovery via odin ands then flash that resore i linked
You don't need to root. Just flash recovery via Odin then run the mc2 counter reset that is linked above. Everything will be reverted back to mc2 (ROM, baseband, and boot loader).

I installed the copy of 4.3 t hat was posted on here from a user who found it in the "cache folder" big mistake. The phone drops calls constantly. Rumor has it that it was an incomplete update. I am now trying to get TWRP as my recovery by flashing it VIA odin. Odin comes back w/ a pass but when i reboot into recovery it's still Android System Recovery <3e> can anyone please guide me on how to get TWRP to successfully install so i can revert back to MC2
Here is a link to a thread that will help, if you can't get into recovery, it works. It is the 4.3 bootloader with firmware from MC2, it will get you so you can boot into recovery, then flash the MC2 back to stock

Downgrade from CM11 to samsung 4.3 stock (with knox)

Hi,
I have a Sprint CDMA galaxy s3 device (of course) that had samsung stock rom 4.3 with Knox.
i rooted the device and disable knox with SuperUser, and then installed CM11.
now i want to go back to stock rom (downloaded from Sammobile).
do i need to worry from brick because of the knox? because it is disabled now, or is it ok to flash the stock rom via odin?
thanks in advance

I did this from CM10.2 last month and it worked for me, now i'm running cm11.
thanks, but it says DO NOT FLASH THIS IF YOU HAVE UPDATED TO MK3 (4.3)!!!! IT WILL CAUSE A HARD BRICK!!!
i had 4.3 before CM11, so i guess this is not relevant for me

Still wont work. i did that and fully bricked my device. you cannot install cm10.3 or lower on the new baseband (MK3). CM10.3 and lower require MD4. Flashing the MD4 Baseband will Hard Brick your Device

I installed cm 10.2.1 coming from cm11 yesterday, it booted up the first time and worked great but after reboot it was stuck on Samsung screen, now i'm back to cm11, but i'm thinking of trying to go back to stock using odin. I get bored a lot I guess lol, and I can't have fear of bricking my devices if I'm flashing roms, have to learn somehow!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565972
if it is interesting for someone, i flashed official stock 4.3 via odin successfully
You can flash the stock tar through Odin or even use dsxdias android kitchen to customize it so you don't have to flash the whole tar file and lose custom recovery or root.

Unless I misunderstood your post, you are flashing a stock recovery in Odin? Have you tried flashing an entire stock rom tar?

Are you on 4.3 or an earlier version?

This is where I always find what I need
http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710)/
If you are already on 4.3 MK3, then that is the file you need to download. Anything before that will brick your phone. If you are on 4.1.2 MD4 or earlier you can choose any one you want.

Thanks i have no idea what AOP i beleive it is 4.12
I will try to flash the latest STOCK ROM 4.3 and see if i can get it working.
if i use MK3 and my phone is 4.12 you saying it will brick it ?
just want to make sure i pick the correct ROM can you kindly clarify which ROM i should flash first
thanks
If you flash 4.3, you cannot use Odin to go back to a previous version, that's what will brick it. You should flash 4.1.2. It does not have the Knox bootloader.

[q] t989 2.3.6 can anyone answer this??! What is it?

ok first of all I've been searching SO long for this, I WANT to flash a rom but don't know which one will work! I cant find Any straight forward answer like if my phone isn't even capable of flashing!
NOTHING! its ready to go ok, IVE ALREADY rooted it, cwm backed up, have SU, have Rom manager
Its a T989,GB 2.3.6,UVLDH,2.6.35.11-1209942
Please if anyone knows what i need to do HELP ME!
What rom do i need to jump on that'll work to eventually flash to kit kat or anything better than GINGERBREAD!?
Come on guys, desperately in need to flash
Thanks in advance and very much appreciate what ya'll do for us.
First... It would be best to start over. Flash stock 4.1.2 stock firmware with Odin.
Then flash the latest recovery and ROOT. Then you should be fine to flash custom roms.
?
I have no links for you, cause most threads here have dead links for 4.1.2. Best to google it. sammobile. Com should have it.
---------- Post added at 01:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:26 PM ----------
And Odin 3.04 or 3.07 are probably best. Make sure any kies processes are killed or Odin will fail.
Definitely agree with "Darth" here.
First update your device to 4.1.2
Then root and CWM/TWRP Recovery and then you'll be good.
If you want a smooth and fast rom for you t989 then go for Cyanogenmod 11 that's kitkat
