Overview:
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project.
We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

Ahh darn. Was going to make my own thread. Oh well I'll just keep compiling it for myself. Thanks for taking it over so other people can have some Carbon awesomeness.

Yeah you should be fine. I haven't changed anything and it worked well when I did it. I should have a new build ready later tonight.
I had to do a fresh flash over 10/20 non stop android.phone fc.

Not to step on anyones Toes, but here is a fresh build from late last night with proper APN for data fix. Have yet to have the phone FC and data is stable, been running since last night. I use same sources as Spleef used. I wouldn't flash the NH Kernels, even though i love them too, it makes the builds way too unstable (no offense NH).

You are not stepping on any toes. Sorry I missed the newer APNs, I am still getting up to speed and acclimated. I will make sure the new one is included in tonight's build. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Really strange, I've got better battery than usual, been running good. Here's my battery so far...
Installed the agimax version this evening. LTE speeds are just about normal. Customizations all work. GPS locks quickly and is very stable. WiFi connection is solid and stable. Will put it through the paces over the next couple of days but so far impressed.

These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The codefireX github is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

It's probably just because it is trying to load a lot of pictures at once.
Well for whatever reason it's working now. And the ROM is great! Only extra option I really use is the centered clock but it was just one of those tiny details that was bugging me. And great that it keeps the cm10 simplicity without over saturating the user with too many menus (I find aokp to be a bit messy).

The Euroskank builds have the center clock option if thats all you want. They are 100% CM with cherry picked commits from CMs gerrit.

Have a bug to report?
Now track the status of your issue on -
http://bugtracker.liquidsmooth.net
--
Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.
No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
Base : Jelly Bean 4.2.2 JDQ39E : FULL AOSP BASE FROM SOURCE.
It's Rockstable,Blazing fast.
and now Buttery Smooth too!

All CM10 ROMs for our device are going to have focus issues. Its a problem our devs are trying to figure out. Trust me when the fix becomes available we'll all know, The news will spread like wild fire. But don't let the focus issue depreciate the value of this amazing ROM.

Honest to god, this ROM is absolutely amazing. I'm gonna try to use it for at least a couple of days or so. With me being in a touring band I instagram a lot of stuff, and the broken cameras are quite the issue for me That's why I'm trying in anyway possible to contribute to finding a fix for the camera

How do you guys install these roms with no issues? I downloaded, opened twrp recovery, cleared cache, dalvik cache, and did a system reset and installed, wiped cache and dalvik cache the flashed gapps and again wiped cache and dalvik cache, rebooted then got stuck on the loading screen with the four colored balls opening and closing.
Please advise me on what to do. Thanks.

Its not handling handoff particularly well, at least when I first flashed it. Goes from being on WiFi to nothing, just basic cell signal. Have to airplane mode once or twice, maybe reboot.
EDIT: It can't handle handoffs AT ALL.

Its not handling handoff particularly well, at least when I first flashed it. Goes from being on WiFi to nothing, just basic cell signal. Have to airplane mode once or twice, maybe reboot.
EDIT: It can't handle handoffs AT ALL.

Having same issue, have no signal data or LTE, any suggestions?

So my situation is that I can get signal as long as its not connected to WiFi.
EDIT: After further tinkering it seems like if you wait about 20-30 seconds in airplane modr the LTE will connect once you turn off airplane mode.
Its a little annoying but beggars can't be choosers.

As always stellar ROM superb battery life. Quick and smooth operation. Just like carbon for the N7.

Simple, sweet, and to the point. I thought I would bring you guys some AOKP nightlies for our Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 since we are not an officially supported device.
Now that I've modified the trees to build for our device, I will work on getting official support and becoming our maintainer next.
ENJOY!!

@CNexus you rock. I never got around to getting the device tree and everything working for it to be built. Awesome sauce.

I recommend these : http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23156208500212107 for now. I'll be making a super debloated package soon that should be around 30 MB since you can grab everything else from the market
Seriously CNexus, you f'n rock so damn hard right now!
Let me know how it's running for you guys
I am going to give it a tray also. Miss me some AOKP from other phones in the past. Great roms usually

(dont mean to sound ungrateful) i would really like to see your work over in the d2att threads. and if you need me to test id be glad to help! [: √

You ninja quoted, I had edited my post already lol.
And if you guys want a pure AOKP rom with no changes, I can do that easily. Already have everything synced to my build server, just need to lunch for d2att and done
I'll get on that as soon as I finish building an updated 4.2.2 AOKP for the d2spr

i wouldnt mind starting a thread over at the d2att for you. all you have to do is give me the download link to the nightlies or whatever you plan on doing. again thanks btw.

@CNexus so far so good bud. Only issue I have found is lean kernel and dkp destroy the boot ani and the display like the blues are yellow and the background is a glitchy mess. I'm assuming they need to be updated since they're about a week or so old but giving you the heads up.
