I bought a Targus Bluetooth keyboard to use with my s3. This is an amazing setup when it works. But after a while the space bar, back space, and some of the arrow keys stop working.
Has anyone else had success with bluetooth keyboards with the s3? Any ideas what the problem might be?
For those that care I assign having the same problem with my S2 so I think out is the keyboard

I have tried several keyboards with the same issue as follows.
I can't consistently pull the keyboard out of my bag, turn it on, and start typing. Is there a solution? I am currently using a ZaggFlex keyboard and have it switched to Android on the back. I do have it paired. I have tried the "bluetooth keyboard easyconnect" app. But I just can't seem to get any combo to work consistently.
Anybody having consistent success with bluetooth keyboards and your Galaxy Note?
I use the Logitech BT keyboard for android, it connects every time without fail.
Thanks for the reply. I may look at that one if JB doesn't help.
Yesterday I purchased a bluetooth mouse and a bluetooth keyboard to use on my new galaxy s4. When I connected both, I can move the mouse and use the keyboard but the keys get "stuck" and will keep sending the same letter. The mouse will intermittently stick and not update its location for a bit and then snap way out.
If I recall correctly it says that that the keyboard keeps reconnecting when it start repeating the key it is stuck on.
If I turn off one or the other device, neither the mouse or keyboard has any issues both function smoothly. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to fix this?
The phone's model number is SGH-M919. Its on android 4.2.2.
Kernel version 3.4.0-453951
Build number JDQ39.M919UVUAMDL
The keyboard is a Logitech Tablet Keyboard, I can't find any other way to describe it.
The mouse is an HP Bluetooth Mouse X4000b.
Thank you for any assistance!
So the Samsung keyboard keeps popping up taking up half the screen when I'm using an external BT keyboard. Any way to disable this? The Nexus 7 does this automatically when a BT keyboard was connected.
Yes, there is a way. B
Go to the default input method menu and if you have your bluetooth keyboard connected, there will be an option for disabling the Samsung keyboard pop up.

Greetings,
I just bought the Belkin Yourtype Bluetooth Keyboard and it pairs fine with my tablet but after about 5 seconds of typing it looks like I lose the connection as I no longer see any new text on the tablet while typing. If I keep typing I get a popup that says "Bluetooth keyboard connected" and I can resume typing for a few more characters.
The keyboard works fine on my Nexus 7, so is there a setting on the Sammy that I am missing, or is this an issue of bluetooth incompatibility?
Thanks,
Hackhound

It's a bluetooth bug. Pretty much any BT input device has this disconnect issue.
I was hoping this would be fixed with a software update, but I'm losing faith...

I have noticed this bug on my Note also. However, i feel it has something to do with the keyboard instead of my precious Note. I think it has something to do with the BT power management on the keyboard iteslf. I have tested with my wife's BT keyboard, which she has an Idea-pad with keyboard dock. I synced it with my Note 10.1 (2014 edition) just fine, and it says connected with NO issues, however on my brand new BT keyboard I purchased from Fry's, it has this stupid disconnecting issue.
My vote is with the BT keyboard, not out Notes.

My moga pro gamepad never disconnected so far. Even works over a distance of 5m. Just saying
