Hello, i'm new here. Sorry for noob question, i use v6 supercharge to this rom for better management ram. But, when i play temple run its very lag. Before i use v6 the game is still smooth, but when i run of a lot app its bit laggy and free ram is very low. I know its risk if i use ics. But, is there any script to manage the ram and its compatible with paranoid rom?
Sorry*again* for my bad english. i hope @doomsday94 see this

I use NFS Most Wanted with XXJW4 Value Pack with Semaphore 2.7.4sc with 800-1300MHz CPU, and it works flawlessly.
I tried this game on CM10 too, but it often faces micro lags , like the fps frops drastically for 4-8 secs , then goes back to smooth. This is observed on Semaphore 2.5 , Devil 1.7.5 and Mackay Kernel 0.78 with CPU set to 800-1000MHz with 14% Live OC.
I suggest you wait for some reviews, or if you want to play it urgently, use a GB Value Pack.
I've had the micro lags but it was facebook causing the problem so I uninstalled it and all is well lol thanks for the comment

Running smooth for me. CM10 (last nightly) + semaphore 2.5.0s. OC +14%, smartass and si/o.

I tried the game again on CM10 and still faced the irritating micro lags issue.
But it seems smooth on X-Bean 2.0 / 3.0 and on C-ROM 2.4 too.
And for ICS ROMs , this game is smooth if you use a Custom Kernel ( like mnICS , Semaphore , devil etc , which have RAM amount in the proximity of 390MB )
The game lags on CM9 stock kernel ( I suspect its due to the low RAM of 368MB only )
Hello guys, I pick up this thread. I bought a regular game, but on my i9000 with CM 1.10 is not compatible, this also with CM 10 and 9.1. What solution do you recommend, without changing rom? Thank you.
uninstalled too:silly:

AOKP M6 is quite good, it's the most stable 4.x out for Gio.
-Fast, lightweight (120MB free on internal after install)
-Every major function working stable
-Camera working including autofocus and camcorder (with 3rd party camcorder app)
-ROM is crash free with minfree set at least 50MB
-Battery lasts 1 day on heavy usage, 2 day on normal usage
I'm using it almost for a month, after trying at least 20 different GB and 3 other ICS/JB roms since July which all had serious bugs except Enhanced236.
The only problem is GTalk FC, but there are a lot other working 3rd party clients.
I'm using Erickas' CM9 for a week and I didn't change it yet, so it's kinda good rom.
Just once, my status bar disappeared but it came back in a minute.
I deleted some system apps that I don't use, so I freed up some space.
Ram usage is quite high, but hey, it's CM9 on our Gio.

I am using the latest Jellaxy build available. Very great work, almost free of bugs on most phones. Depending on how many apps used at the same time, sometimes a bit laggy but ready for everyday use, I think. Using it since a few months
Aokp m6 is really good but i search ics rom with touch wiz 4

Touchwiz4 cannot run on gio, can use touchwis5 theme on my aokp
Really how?

I'm using aurora. No bugs but when you choose holo launcher as launcher it looks like ics. Good performance. Overclocking possible.

Hi,
My old phone was Sony Xperia Neo V and it had 512MB of RAM, in that I used to run MIUI and I, user was able to use ~320 MB of RAM out of 512MB rest was hidden by OS for it's own use. My current phone is Sony Xperia S which has 1GB of RAM and I can see 636MB for my use. This indicates that Android keep for itlself ~40% of total RAM. I feel reserving 40% of RAM is wastage as I was running the same ICS based MIUI on my previous Xperia Neo V in which Android reserved ~200MB of RAM and it used to work pretty smooth. So, my question is how can I change the % of default RAM reserved by Android so that I can save my 200MB of RAM in my current Xperia S, as I believe 200MB of RAM would be sufficient for smooth running of my Xperia S as it was running in Neo V.
Thanks
Are you running an official/unofficial version of CM?
Settings>Performance>Memory management>Check Allow purging of assets, Kernel same page merging and set zRam to the max percentage. That should free quite a bit of RAM.

If it's based on MIUIAndroid Xperia S ROM (which is stock Sony ICS patched) then chances are that the only way you will get more RAM is using a init.d tweak or RAM manager app to change the RAM management/allocation...
I would suggest supercharging the ROM, search for it

Sorry, that was stupid joke. It is normal that your wifes XS shows only 685 RAM, system takes the rest of 1GB.
GPU - 200mb
hardware - 139mb
user/system -685
There are ways to increase but its realy complicated (pro dev level)

RAM in the roms is not so important. It's multitasking what does the job. Currently im using letema's 4.3 and multitasking is incredible. No lags at all despite (more or less) 670mb of user-availible ram and, belive me, i have many apps installed on my phone. But still im waiting for another version of KitKat from Rayman. People say that (even though there is 620mb user availible ram) it's smooth as hell. So yeah, RAM is not so important. And it's not only me who says that. The devs think the same

there is nothing to hog ram with AOSP and CM
AOSP will allways be more ram - multitask freindly then CM10+
and finaly official GB will allways be the best for multitasking then anything else ever made for our XS
(with a non modded system and no root)
Gingerbread 80mb used/605 free. after heavy use for 3 days)

i agree 100%, what i ment is that ram usage may be more efficient even if there is actually less user-availible RAM
BTW: you were supposed to built your own 4.4 rom, isn't that right? how do the things look like right now?

I say so 'cause every rom i used (from pure cm11 from sir arco to bean kat of adi aisiteru and now mokee rom ported by theloneseeker) i noticed that free ram is never under 65-70 mb…and yes, i use greenify plus with system process hibernate feature enabled and don't use some other apps that runs in background…i use the same things i used in previous rom since cm9 to cm10.2… free ram is always not less than 70mb… Even if i set "low_device:true" in build.prop nothing change…can you have the solution?
I made this thread because it's been so long time that i'm searching for a good solutions, but nothing workes for me…
What's your tipically free ram?

KitKat: Mokee OS 04/11 + KhaN Kernel 1.9 362MB Ram:
140MB+ with no apps opened.
100MB+ opened: Whatsapp, Camera, Total Commander, Opera Mini
Most important is that you delete/uninstall really every app that is not necessary and avoid installing apps which use kinda ... background processes e.g. facebook. Android 4.4.2 runs at least as good as 4.3.1.
u can try Aoip v1.6 and madridii kernel . its run great on my W
