As you requested, this is the latest available nightly on BasketBuild. Nightlies aren't stable (especially for PACman) so actually you shouldn't want them at all.
And you have hours of patience waiting for a spoon-fed answer but don't have the 10-minute patience searching for the links in the Dev subforum? Come on man, this is XDA - help yourself next time

1) You have a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP), right? Stock recovery doesn't flash custom ROMs.
2) What error does it give? Details needed.

And to add to that, make a back up in cwm/twrp, then wipe, then flash rom+gapps. The latest nightly of pacman was uploaded to the pacman site last night and appears to be running really well compared to the 10/7 release. It is also android 4.3.1

It tries to flash the rom then it just stops in the first half second of the flash and says error.

Gapps update

Hello,
I am using Cynogenmod 10 and I recently downloaded the newest Gapps to update my existing ones. My question is:
Can I just flash the newest Gapps? If not, what would the process be?
Thank you very much!

I believe you just have to delete cache and wipe dalvik and install the new gapps.
Make sure Gapps is for JB 4.1.2 and not 4.2.1. CM10 is still on 4.1.2. unless you are running the unofficial 10.1 rom.
Edit** 10.1 Nightlies are now rolling out. So flash 4.2 Gapps if you are planning on running it

[Q] Problem with kernel and booting up.

Hello. So I tried to install a Franco kernel and it didn´t go well. Now my GNex won´t boot-up. It have happaned before with franco kernel. Then I reinstalled ROM and had to wipe all data. So my question: is there any way to get my device to bootup without reseting. Fortunately I have made Titanium backup so everything isn´t lost.
What ROM and which Kernel version?

Its a AOKP rom and I don´t know the exact kernel because I downloaded it with the franco.kernel app. The app said it´s the latest and stable version. ( I have tried to install different kernels with Nexus Root Toolkit.)
Be aware that 4.2.2 kernels are not compatible with 4.2.1 or lower ROMs.
The latest franco APP 8.8.4 will install a 4.2.2 kernel.
If you did that, you have to re flash other compatible kernel .

there should be a boot.img inside the zip file for the rom you are on. pull that and flash it in fastboot.

Download a kernel .img appropriate for 4.1.2 or extract the kernel from the stock 4.1.2 factory image of google, starts in fastboot mode and flash the kernel image with the command fastboot flash boot nameofyourkernel.img
It did not work

Wich version of Franco's?
Latest

ah ok ... I had been to bootloop also with the Franco ....
franco uses its own ramdisk. trinity uses the rom's ramdisk. to go from franco to trinity you need to dirtyflash the rom again. then install trinity.
if its any franco kernel other than the very latest 4.2.2 kernel, you cant flash trinity kernel over it(or any other). it was a problem in some of francos code, he just fixed it. if so, just dirty flash your rom(dont wipe a thing) and trinity with it.
How would I do that

Also tried to flash straight from philz but nothing changed. Tried zoot script, nothing changed, stucked to samsung logo for ever. I have restored with dmc3 and flashed philz recovery again and the su apps. So i continue with another rom. I have downloaded paranoid android rom put it on sd, factory reseted then tried to install paranoid. It tried to install when it throwed a set_perm some files changed status 7 error. Sure you will stuck at screen logo since you has flashed cm10 kernel but still remain on Sammy based ROM. Flash Samsung kernel or any custom Sammy kernel such as persues or redphill to boot up the phone.

I see...then u hv no choice but stick with samsung stock rom. Isn't the bad choice if you stick with samsung stock rom since it give you more superior in terms of battery life...beutiful and useful widget...useful spen festures . My personal opinion, pure vanila rom or any other aokp just for the devices less of power or lower spec. Note2 having good hardware spec which is give you buttery smooth and good responsive performance on par with cm10 based rom even loaded with sammy stock rom. A lot of mods, themes and simplistic control and xposed also provide huge customization feature on stock sammy rom. Cm 10,aokp and aosp is very good base rom as well but just too boring for myself.

Yes but am a rom testing guy....and i want to know why this is happening...Thanks for your help anyway! ;p
Hmm....just some opinion....perform super wipe and flash stock rom thru pc odin. Then, root it again and try again.
Im not sure the above method able to solve your problem or not, but you camn try, since im not familiar in edit script, therefore this is the most basic and long step method I will recommend for.

Which version of GAPPS to flash to Nexus 7?

I was reading thru the posts for the IOKP ROM, and decided to flash it. I got it rooted, but now I need to flash gapps. There are two different gapps on the OP for the IOKP ROM. The first one is in the first post; the second gapps is in the second post. Which one do I flash? They both look like gapps 4.3. Will it hurt my device to flash 4.3 gapps to a 4.4.2 ROM?
Sent from my SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
There are plenty of 4.4 gapp packages around. I don't think the 4.3 will work.
