I'm looking to get information about getting the 4g to work on Jelly Bean 4.3.X roms. Would it be able to port the functionality from a Jelly Bean 4.2.2 rom? Any thoughts?
It's been removed from the source code by Google, I highly doubt you'll get it to work.

That's what I have heard, although I think I was a little premature of them to pull it from source so soon after the abandonment of WiMax. But that aside you don't think it would be possible to push it back in to the code at a locale level. How much of a change really took place from 4.2.2 to 4.3?
Is the structure or 4.3 so much different that it is not even a possibility?

I mean you could try, but I wouldn't spend too much time on it. They saw it as no official 4.3 device will have Wimax so we can remove it.

I was playing around with this theme for personal use, never really planned on releasing it. Most the icons were thrown together quickly and I've already started making more polished ones. I've been running the Magic4.9 since it came out and keeping up with that has taken most my time lately lol. If there are others interested in it I will continue working on it for release.
Let me know.
Also, if anyone has and better suggestions for letter combinations please let me know. I'm thinking of changing Messaging from Me to Tx.

I think its kinda cool, though I don't know how much i would use it. College chemists would probably love it but then again maybe not. At least there is starting to be more interest in designing new themes after the comp.

Like I said it was just something I was playing around with. I was trying to make a set of icons that you could tell what it was at a quick glance...
Captivate has it working Stock battery with precentage, looks NICE
Would like to see it on our phones.
Anybody want to take a shot at this?
Or,
Give me hints, where do I start?
I've already tried to flash their update on my epic. gave an error. Nothing ventured nothing gained

I'll see if I can give a crack at it.. don't know where to start so i'll be searching the forums any help is appreciated.

Nice to see more development for this phone! I take it you're making a custom kernel for this rom as well?
Hehe yup hopefully tonight we'll see another "hint" signature hint
Yeah, its been a bit challenging. Its really unfortunate, this phone has alot of potiental just not enough people to put it too work
Agreed. Only had this phone for three days and I'm madly in love with it. Had an original cappy and upgraded to the glide. The only thing that I miss is supercurios voodoo sound. It's rumored the glide has the same DAC as the Cappy. I've been attempting to verify that claim, still awaiting the word from SAMSUNG on the matter.
On a stand still I'm in chicago till the 19th family emergency
I'm talking about this app created by TheUnkn0wn: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611

I really love AOSP smoothness and features but I miss stock camera by Samsung. I think that modded camera could be the better replacement for it.
And I don't want to use Chameleon ROM because I don't like the time on statusbar bug on AOKP version and I miss some features on him AOSP version.
Maybe someone dev can port it to ours SII
Thanks!
I think that this is'n going to happen soon, almost 90% of the Samsung Galaxy S II camera software is made of touchwiz libraries and frameworks, the only camera made from AOSP sources that i know is the CyanogenMod one

Hope that someone can port it to SII
Hey*XDA, first time posting, long time follower here. I followed the*tutorial*from @hsbadr*to get CyanogenMod 13 on my Verizon Note 4(here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3253973), and it is working flawlessly! But having been on CM13 for a little over a couple months, I am beginning to miss my S-Pen*functionality. I've been doing some research, and can't seem to find a solid working example of getting the S-Pen to function (not expecting 100% functionality, of course). From what I could gather, the S-Pen's functionality is tied in with Touchwiz, but I didn't know if there any ports from the stock ROM that runs independently of Touchwiz.*
Similarly, I've been missing the amazing functionality of the stock camera app back when I was running 5.1.1, but again I understand (or at least I believe so) that the camera app actually depends on Touchwiz. I've been using Open Camera for a while, but seriously miss the built in functionality that the stock app provided. Have there been any developments or workarounds for this? I realize there's more than likely little to nothing that can be done while running CM13, but I figured I'd ask! Also, for those curious, I've provided a screen shot of my system information. Thank you!
