Root de la Vega rooting, now "Your device has been modified..." - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I was trying to check if there's any new update, it pops up this message
from what i know about the root ( rarely anything, use it to download titanium), it's a stock rom, so shouldn't i be able to check it?
anyway to fix it?
btw, my device status is Custom, is it normal after install Root de la vega?

Yes. Search.

Install xposed framework and then download wanam app install the module on xposed framework then go to wanam app and go to security hacks, then look for fake system status, then reboot your phone after that you will be able to check for updates. Also your device status in settings is going back to official after this.

Out of curiosity does it state that system is official when you are on the bootloader screen/in download mode as well? No biggie if you don't know, I was just curious.

[MOD][4.3][JWR/JSS][STOCK/PA][DEODEX]Xposed Framework inside Settings.apk (8/27/13)

Hi!
I just want to share this MOD I made just for fun. Instead of pushing the Xposed Installer/Framework into system/app I made a flashable zip to have the Xposed app integrated in our Stock Settings.apk, nothing special but I like the app to appear in settings.
Anyways, just flash this through your recovery(CWM/TWRP) and your good to go.
One more thing, this will work on any Stock ROM JWR or JSS also in Paranoid Android 2.99. BUT don't flash this on any custom ROM like CyanogenMod, AOKP, Carbon, etc. You will lose all it's customization in the Settings App.
If you want to request for this on your current custom ROM. Just attach the Settings.apk and framework-res.apk. A simple Thanks would be enough to get me going. Lol!
Thanks!

For PA users, flash SuperSU 1.51, Superuser has issues with Xposed.

I'm do it on JWR66Y odex.
UPD: I'm uninstall all plugins with Xposed, and flash it. Don't boot my phone...

Yeah I know that but thought that the apk would replace the stock one. No biggie, using a similar app widget. Thanks for your time.

I forgot to backup the original Accuweather files. Does someone have a flashable version of the original one or the files needed to restore it?
Also OP is there any possibility that you can make a 50% transparency of this? Thanks in advance
Heres a zipped up file of the apk, DO NOT FLASH this, download it and extract the file for the stock accuweather apk.

Stupid question but will this work on Nova launcher?
Can you bring over the old-look Accuweather widget from the Note 2?
I would love to give it a try on the Note 3.
I tried many many a time to push the apps to system/apps also giving r/w rights to root explorer and then restarted. Widget is not in my widgets tab. Now I lost the Accuweather widget completely. I am rooted btw.

It could either be your font what is causing the problem or the fact that you're still odexed could be causing it. I would guess it is the former however.

It's probably the same as T-Mobile
If nobody else gives you a link you can try it https://www.dropbox.com/s/kiw8vwqq9obzpyx/LGMessage.apk

thanks alot!
Anyone having issues with this? I did the manual install. I renamed the old file to apk.bak and placed the new file in. Rebooted and. The app wouldn't open. I tried installing it and that got the app to open but I couldn't send any messages. After another reboot the app wouldn't open again. Wentback to the stock app for now.

Haven't had any issues here. Rebooted multiple times yesterday and today.

Did you fix permissions ?
I have it working after realizing you have to rename the message.odex file to .bak as well. Make sure permissions are rw-r-r

Aosp messaging, this will replace your LGMessage.apk
Make a backup of it if you feel the need to.
Instructions:
flash in recovery
reboot
Done
Manual method (Without recovery)
extract the LGMessage.apk from the zip
Go to system/priv-app
Delete your current LGMessage.apk
Move the new one to system/priv-app
Make sure permissions are set rw-r--r--
Reboot
Enjoy

This has to be it. I didn't even think about the odex file. My phones are normally on a deodexed Tom. Thanks will try now and update.
Update edit.
I renamed the odex file and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Been using it for a few days. It won't send mms over WiFi though
