mhl resolution problem - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello everyone, i'm here because i have an issue connecting my note 2 to the tv using an mhl adapter... it recognised my cell instantanely but it set automatically up the [email protected] resolution... but these settings cause me problems when i play games that required the native 60 frames of the cell... how can i scale down the resolution to [email protected] fps? thanks!
ps: my cell is stock & rooted =D

up!! please!!!!

can you help me please?

This is an interesting question. The truth is I don't have the answer, but I'd love if someone could share it.

[Q] Resolution HDMI SmartDock

I am using a Samsung SmartDock with my note II running Phoenix ROM 4.3 and I need my HDMI output to be 720p.
Tried tinkering around through the sys/class/graphics but to no avail.
So ... can someone help me set the phone to change its native HDMI output to 720p 60Hz?
Be it by changing files in the system or by using an app.
(btw I am a noob at coding)

[Q] Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 hdmi/mhl questions

Hello all! sorry my first post is a question.
I have a GT3 8.0, and love it. It is the first tablet and Android device I have owned and it's taking a little while to get used to. I have rooted it and installed arshull's great galatab kernel and rom, which made a huge difference and made it much more like a pc in terms of flexibility and modability.
One element has me totally stumped, and that is the whole mhl/hdmi thing.
Essentially I have full screen pauses when watching movies and the Eurosport Player and other streaming services. I had a similar problem on my PC which I also have connected to my TV and solved it by changing the 'refresh rate' of the GPU. Homever I'm having problems figuring out the same thing on my tab. I've tried overclocking and underclocking to see if that changes how it stutters but nothing. I'm hoping you guys and gals cab answer a couple questions for me?
1. What does the tab 3 8.0 output through mhl? is is 1080p or 720p and what is the refresh rate?
2. Can either of these be changed either app or kernel level?
3. Does the tab draw two separate screens or just its display which is then sent out tot the tv ( ive tried benchmarkimg with the mhl in and out and there is only a slight difference)?
4. my telly is not the newest and is limited to 50hz. Does this make a difference?
Any and all help is greatfully received. I've been programming and messing about with computers for years so a more technical solution is achievable, but I was hoping that someone had already done it!
Regards,
John

[Q] Is there any way to get the Screen Mirror feature for Grand Duos?

Hello , I have my GGD a year ago and a SmartTV too. I can stream contents to the TV through Wifi Direct, but only media (vids, pics and audio), but I want to see the screen phone in the TV (looking the maps, games and other apps) just like the Xperia L of my father does. is there any chance of doing that? Or maybe is not possible at all... Thanks in advance.

Changing resolution on Toshiba FireTV

This is a simple question, but very irritating to me because I could not find much for answers since every update to the FireTV software gives me less and less options. Anyways, I want ot change the resolution of my TV down to 480 to play my old PS2 games on the TV, but the only trick that I know of (holding rewind and up to go to some resolution settings) only gave me the options of 2160p, 1080p, or auto.
Unfortunately, there is no way of rooting my TV that I know of as I have been looking for one since I got it, so I am hoping that someone here has had a similar issue and could help me out without root permissions. I appreciate any help that you guys can give.
PS: I would like to see if I can get the resolution changed without messing with up scaling adapters since they can be a pain
great sir

What kind of TV does Cube2 need to cowork and display normally?

Hi
3 years ago, when I tried to use a Cube 1st to co-work with my Samsung TV(UA55HU5903J). The TV cannot display normally. I think it's because the refresh rate.
How do I know What kind of TV Cube2 need?
thanks
It's hard to tell what you mean by the Cube would not display 'normally'. Was the picture discolored? Glitching blocks? The wrong resolution? Can you take a screenshot or photo to help describe the problem?
The Cube shouldn't require any sort of special television to work properly.
