Samsung released Galaxy W source code - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

guys while ı was surfing in the net ı found this website
http://opensource.samsung.com/
and ı search gt-i8150(galaxy w) and ı found this
http://imgim.com/2924incii2859978.png
if this is true we will get more stabil(fully working) roms in the future :good:
that is for s4 source code:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/05/28/samsung-releases-kernel-source-code-for-verizon-galaxy-s4-galaxy-tab-3-7-0-galaxy-mega-5-8-duos-and-galaxy-mega-6-3-gsm/

It's Android 2.3 sources. They are useless for 4.X, as far as I know

This is not new stuff I think. Samsung released this long time ago and without this we wouldn't have any custom roms. We need(ed) the sources because of the drivers for our hardware, to build new kernels and roms. correct me if I am wrong

Your post is about 2 years to late This sourcecode is about as old as the SGW exists.

Kernels for OPPO Find 7 (QHD)

Is there any custom kernels for OPPO Find 7 (QHD)?
I hope a Custom Kernel will be released soon :good:
I flashed this kernel [KERNEL][SABERMOD 4.9.3][Find 7/7a]Sensei Kernel over CM12 nightly but broke my wifi and phone signal, I hope the developers have a look at this excellent phone and keep up more active development. I look for guides to porte roms but I only found based on CM11 the oppo find 7 has similarities with the OnePlus One and maybe I could make some Port for the Find 7.
Bad english sorry.
Thx!
I've been begging @Lord Boeffla to port the OnePlus One CM12 kernel over the one Oppo, but because he doesn't have a device to work on he can not do it, which I totally understand.
However, he has said the code from Find 7 CM12 kernel is 90% the same as the OnePlus One kernel, so if someone with some coding skills could look into it, it could be an easy job.
I used Boeffla Kernel on my Galaxy S3 and it was the best!!!

[Q&A] Custom kernel for 4.4.2 KITKAT?

Nobody has the guts to develop a new kernel for the latest firmware, 4.4.2 KitKat?!! This phone needs a stable kernel to achieve its potential. If you are working at something, please post here your work and are a few people happy to help with testing. Come on, guys, make a better kernel!

Please, tell me where did you saw the kernel source code for Android 4.4.2 because I want to download ...
I didn't... But I know a guy (Franco) that a few years ago made a kernel for LG Optimus One without the source. The best kernel I ever installed! And that little LG O1 run better then that a lot of smartphones today.

Hi, yes you're right, you can make a kernel without it's source, but its nearly impossible on a device with so many closed-source-drivers usw. . Also you need to know very much about the way our phone works, many details usw.
I would simply say, noone can Reverse Engineer the P6-Kernel, and those who can will not do this for a decive with such a little community
EDIT:
The only possibility to create a working kernel would to try porting a kernel from the P7-Sources
But anyone ask nicelly for that source code?

Forget about Custom ROMs! Being an Exynos device, the chipset is entirely closed-source. Hence it's quite difficult for the developers to create custom ROMs. The only exception being some high-end Samsung Galaxy flagships that have a ROM or two.
Always remember, if you're interested in Custom ROMs and related developments, buy devices in this order: Snapdragon > MediaTek > Exynos

That's not true. I had a Samsung J7 Prime and have a lot of working roms. And i suposed that are many exynos devices which have custom roms. So, is posible. But is work for developers, if they want.

mediafire.com/file/pit3mqv7qqqw2mj/CM12_for_Galaxy_Y_Upload_by_Dong_Sica.zip/file#
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket is ARMv6 processor and have cm12, why our S5360 can't have cm12?
PD: Sorry for the bad english! I'm from Venezuela
