Hi just a few question, Is MIUI Rom applicable for Samsung Galaxy Young?
Thank you..
NB:
Mods, Pls. delete my other thread regarding Miui..
you can try miui launcher. search on google
Thanks but what I'm asking is, Miui is compatible with our Samsung Galaxy Y?

yes its compatible as of now. why? it went to Open source as for today meaning it can be easiy ported if there's a dev. since ICS came to mini and went smooth with the combination of GIO's, maybe we can ask them to help us. motafoca is working on CM7 and pratyush on ICS but still halfway.
Where can I get the Miui rom then for SGY? Thanks
I'm about to buy me the Galaxy Y. Please do tell me, is it possible to flash Clockworkmod onto it? If so how? And Can I flash Cyanogenmod 7 on it? If so, how?
Do Reply fast, I'm going to be buying it in a few days and It's useless to me if I can't run CM7 on it!
Thanks
Y doesn't have CM ROM now, just waiting!!!!
If you like CM ROM so much, buy mini, this devide had CM7 & CM9 and MIUI

The latest android version which works on our gio is 4.2.2
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
Official firmware goes up to 2.3.6
Anything above are custom roms.

Yes mate they are good.
[DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 [10.03.2013] , based on 4.2.2 , made by OldDroid
[ROM][JB][ANDROID 4.2.2]Androidarmv6 CM-10.1 24-02-2013 , same here , made by Erickas
[DEV] AOSP IceCreamSandwich 4.0.4 | MoltenMotherBoard (08.MAR.2013 - RC4) , this is Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Ice Cream Sandwich (Android version 4.0.4) , made by MoltenMotherBoard Team , wich consists of Mackief , Paco and ItachiSama
[DEV] AOSP ICS 4.0.4 by MaclawStudio , same as above , made by Maclaw and Marcin
They are all great roms , you should try them all before deciding. Like it was said above , official firmware upgrade for anything above 2.3.6 from Samsung doesn`t exist , you have to resort to roms if you want that.
Sorry if i missed some developer , it wasn`t intentional.
Well, Im using aokp 4.2.2 right now and it is really great. Smooth and fast. Everything works, only small issues

Yes you can try both AOSP ICS roms , really they are very good without any need for overclocking or tweaking , in my opinion. They keep about 170Mb RAM free.

Hello!!! I found a SGY 3-4 months ago and
I found that this old device have too many roms
but most of them were stock based or cm7.2 based
I found some beautiful themes but I want to try if
Lollipop is possible for our mini device .
I think If we try we can do it as once ICS was dream for us totoro users but then we got CM9 and then KitKat Now as lollipop is a must for today's devices so please can someone help in compiling CM12 for SGY GT-S5360.
Thanks

Hey will you join me because I am creating a rom for gt-s5360 its oreo themed cm7.2 based
I found this, but i can´t flash it because give me Status 7 error with CWM & TWRP recovery!
dongsica.blogspot.com /2015/11/cyanogenmod-12-for-galaxy-y-gt-s5360.html
Here is the ROM
mediafire.com/file/pit3mqv7qqqw2mj/CM12_for_Galaxy_Y_Upload_by_Dong_Sica.zip/file#
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket is ARMv6 processor and have cm12, why our S5360 can't have cm12?
PD: Sorry for the bad english! I'm from Venezuela
This is not possible. Because our old device uses android 4.x with difficulty
