does anyone notice that the physical hardware button makes a click noise? I dont know if this is an issue of having to break the phone in or what.
I hear a click sound, but its normal

Anyway to make the home button double click to run a different program?
Or can we change the swipe up to run another program?

I think the only way is to use a different launcher. I've been trying find a way myself. On the home button click mine has a nice solid click sound. I actually like it. Feels sturdy, not like a squishy feel which I've had in the past with hard buttons.

I was wondering if we could somehow enable soft keys to pop up when the S pen was removed from the phone? I know there is an app that you can use gestures for the S Pen, however using soft keys on the bottom when the S pen was pulled out would be an awesome feature.

last time someone brought this up the quick gesture option built in was given as a good replacement of soft menu....but i could see tying a soft key app to the pen extraction being do_able..like the memo pop up option

Here we go.
navigate to system/build.prop
go to the bottom of the page ( document )
add this line
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

comment out lines on /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl, like so...
Code:
# key 158 BACK
# key 172 HOME
# key 139 MENU
physical home button, however, will still wake up the device (which i prefer) and long pressing on it will bring up s-/google- voice. if you wish otherwise, you can disable it altogether by editing the line on gpio-keys.kl (same directory as above)...
Code:
# key 172 HOME WAKE
then turn off lights via settings/display/touchkey light duration. works on both ics and jb sammy roms. HTH

I understand how to change build.prop to take advantage of enabling and disabling the soft keys. However I was wondering if maybe one of our smart devs would be able to incorporate it into a rom, so the soft keys are disabled when the Spen is in the phone, but then enabled when the Spen is taken out. This would be a a sick feature!!!

usually you tap on the window you want to close, and "X" icon to close app will pop up somewhere on the tapped app (along with max & min icon).

I have never seen that "X" icon... I usually just keep pressing back button until it closes =/ or could just maximize one screen you want to hide other.

I generally like the multiwindow, but if I can't get rid of a window.. It's pretty dumb.. Lol. Somehow, I swiped down and got it to disappear but can't do it again..
For me whenever I press on a Window that that I want to maximize, right next to the swap windows should be a maximize Window (below the adjustable bar)

I know how to maximize and swap. I just don't know how to exit out of a Window. I know that you can maximize the Windows you don't want, then back up to the previous app but sometimes, it doesn't work. Anyone know how to close a Window in MultiWindow?

That's what I was guessing. See if this post helps ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41822132&postcount=4558 ... and here is link to update the installer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081
Ok here is the solution. There is a small arrow shape in the middle bar. When u tap on the top window the arrow will point on that and vice versa. So which means ur function buttons like (back & menu) will work on that tap. So if u press back button it will close that tap. Thats all. Very simple.
If u didnt find that little arrow then just keep tapping on top and buttom and u will notice the arrow

I tried, but it only closes the app if it's the first page. Like..say you were on the Internet and you went forward to like 3 Web pages, if you press the back, the browser just goes back , ,not cancel the app ):

Check the box for reverse halo, then you can double tap and hold on the halo icon to drag it around the screen and remove it by dropping it on the X at the top of the screen.
Thank worked, thanks borkan.

any help would be appreciated.

Running a stock ROM u can push volume + and - at the same time for a screenshot. Then click the button in top right of screen. It looks like a little floppy disk. That will save the pic. And I've done this using snapchat.
