MIUI Rom for the T-Mobile Version?? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Are there any developers for this phone currently working on a MIUI rom? if not, I will look forward to it.
It kinda sucks that MIUI being one of the most popular roms ever, isnt out yet on the galaxy s4 for t-mobile...

Here is a link to the MIUI 9505 custom rom.
It will work excellent on Tmobile M919 Galaxy S4.
The only thing which will be missing is the wifi-calling option which only tmobile touchwiz stock based custom roms have.
Here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2306650
Good luck with it!

Thanks! How do I find these files?
"Note: if you have another snapdragon based galaxy S4 variant, you must copy libril.so and libril-qc-qmi-1.so from a working rom to /system/lib/"
What rom do i find it from? any? In that case, couldnt i just use my stock files for those?

If your phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 M919 then you do not need to copy those files at all unless
your phone is some other variant of the Galaxy S4 phone.
If your phone is NOT a M919 S4 then copy those 2 files from any cwm/twrp flashable custom rom zip files.
The stock files are not deodexed and most likely will not work.
If your phone is a Tmobile M919 S4 you should have nothing to worry about, just follow the instructions in
the MIUI thread.
Good luck!

If it's working properly with the kernel it came with perhaps its best to leave it alone.
But if you have a special MIUI kernel you would like to flash that's ok too just be sure
to make a nandroid backup of your rom first.
Good luck!

[Q] What Roms can we flash?

Are we able to flash att s4 roms, verizon, and sprint roms? Or just tmobile roms and i9505?
Pretty much anything based off i9505 hardware. Just make sure to grab a T-Mobile kernel in the t-mob original dev forum. Make sure you're getting just the rom and not the modem with (unlikely, just avoid odin files).

Yes u can flash any S4 or should i say most of S4 roms in to T-mobile s4. [ I flashed international S4 ROM in to my s4 its working fine smooth ]
All u have to do is flash T-Mobile M919 comparable kernel after ROM flash and u are good.
Leave Odin files alone unless they are specifically meant for the M919... leave ALL ROMs alone if they are for i9500. All other S4 variants (including i9505) are perfectly fine as long as a T-Mobile kernel is used.

Yes you can flash N7105 ROMs on your T889. They're pretty much the same phone just the N7105 is the international version. Pretty much any ROM you see for t0lte is safe to flash on N7105/ T-Mo/AT&T Note 2's. There is a list of ROMs in the dev section also. Just make sure you always have a backup of your current ROM in case you run into any trouble.

If the rom does not have a option to retain your current radio.. after you flash the rom . you will have to flash the correct t- mobile radio ..
So read the OP Post carefully in that rom thread. or ask the op about this..There have been people say they have lost imei number due to incorrect radio.. So understand what you are doing first..
If your not experienced with android and so on. Its SAFER TO STAY With roms in the development area of this forum... Thou some in the other forums do state to work with what your asking..
Its not always the same for every rom. so there is really not a true yes or no answer to the question..
as said above they will all work.. but might need modem change

Yeah any ROM for t0lte is going to be AOSP, which is pure Google I.e. nexus devices. AOSP ROMs dontn have spen features or multi window features. So if you want those features and want an international based ROM I suggest JediX 16. It can be found in the Dev thread here. It's Samsung TW so it has all the functionality you need and had the latest N7105 4.1.2 base. So check it out. Hope I didn't confuse you.

[ REQ] Please port this tool

This is a tool from international gn2 section. It is intended tobe compatible with any 4.3 tw custom rom, installing all gn3 apps. If one of the very talented devs here could port this to our device, I'm sure it would be appreciated by many here.

I'm not a dev but I'm willing to do anything I can do to assist in making this happen.

Why don't you just use one of the roms that has the Note 3 features inside it already? All you have to do is flash t-mobiles modem on top of the rom install and it'll be just like stock + the n3 features.

Sorry if this is a stupid question: when flashing a modem after custom rom install, does the modem have to be in a .zip format? If so, where can I find a Tmo note 2 modem in .zip format?

Yes it does, but it has to be a signed .zip file. You can just download the latest one that's already been signed here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760975430

SM-N9005 ROM on SM-N900T

I have a Tmobile Note 3 SM-N900T and I would like to know if I can flash note 3 international SM-N9005 Stock rom on my device.
Will this brick my device?
I believe it depends on the rom. Some devs list the models it can work with. Also only the devil of rom knows what tinkering they have done. You will loose Wi-Fi calling
TWEAKED 1.0 NOTE 3
Thanks for the reply! I am aware that both phones have the same hardware. So can I just flash the LTE international note 3 stock rom firmware on to my tmobile version? I don't want custom roms, so I was wondering if flashing stock rom would work.

Thought so, hey man since you flashed almost all international roms the ones that don't have aroma or manually install the international kernel, my question is even tho it flashes an international kernel while the rom installs it won't brick my note unless I boot up? After flashing rom right away uncheck reboot at the end of aroma(if any) then flash kernel/wifi>gps>bluetooth fix? All should be gravy?

Does knox gets tripped by flashing a N9005 rom on the N900T? Or the N900T modem/kernel afterwards?

Flashable 4.1 or 4.2 rom for Metropcs?

So, since the T-Mobile and metro merge I've noticed many t mobile threads and almost none for metro. Figured its safe to post here about my metro gsm s3
Im looking for STOCK 4.1 or 4.2 based roms, preferring pure stock or stock de-odex roms. Maybe even like official Sammy update files.
Anyone know where I can grab them?
Thanks in advance.
