This is a tool from international gn2 section. It is intended tobe compatible with any 4.3 tw custom rom, installing all gn3 apps. If one of the very talented devs here could port this to our device, I'm sure it would be appreciated by many here.

Why don't you just use one of the roms that has the Note 3 features inside it already? All you have to do is flash t-mobiles modem on top of the rom install and it'll be just like stock + the n3 features.

Sorry if this is a stupid question: when flashing a modem after custom rom install, does the modem have to be in a .zip format? If so, where can I find a Tmo note 2 modem in .zip format?

Yes it does, but it has to be a signed .zip file. You can just download the latest one that's already been signed here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760975430

The US variants wont have the multitasking bar. Can we root then flash the cooked international ROMs which provide this instead?
I've been meaning to ask this as well.
just picked up my Note 2 for T-Mobile and would like to know as well. i'm assuming yes since internally the US variants and international are the same except for the modem. i'm itchin to flash a rom on this...
i read post one thread they try flash G7100 rom over G7105 and got stuck in boot loop. You can search in general thread and find out
i specifically want to know about using a TMOB variant on AT&T
Ditto on the OP question...waiting in front of TMO US tore now and hoping to get ARHD 3.0 on this bad boy ASAP!
I sure do hope it would work...

just don't flash the radio (modem). probably needs some RIL fixin' and what not. then i think these roms will work across most variants.
I believe it has something to do with isis. The rep told me that all SIMs are isis now.
To maintain security, I am guessing it has to be the TMO baseband.
I could be wrong.

that's easy. just flash the correct modem from the carrier. this is going to be fun.
Yeah, this should work just fine. Does anyone have the modem files?
I have a request into Samsung for a complete dump for recovery, but no word yet.
I flashed Omega 4.1 which had a modem in it. :/

you might be able to extract the radio out of one of those OTA updates. not sure if there is one or not.
Considering the similarities between the domestic variants of the Note 2 and their international counterparts, would anyone be willing to test some of the success that the folks over in the AT&T forum have had with porting the international N7100/N7105 firmware/ROM's over to the T-Mobile Note 2
Check out these two threads over in the AT&T forum and see what you all think:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2016575
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018411
The basic gist of the procedure is to use a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP to flash a stock N7100/N7105 firmware, and then flash your carrier specific modem/kernel.
Why would anyone want to do this? Well, for starters, you would benefit from built-in stock-supported tethering, and a few other features that carriers disable (YMMV). But mainly this means that the domestic versions of the Note 2 can benefit from the development of the international versions! So, when the latest version of Android comes out for the rest of the world, we aren't stuck here waiting for our carrier to catch up to everyone else...
So what do you all think? Anyone willing to try?

Actually, there is a port of cm10 for the ATT Note 2 device, it was ported from the official cm10 for the N7100 device by madmack. I'm running it on the T-Mobile Note 2 and to tell you the truth, it is very stable so far even if it's coming from a nightly build. Check out this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024495.
Once you go to that link, go to page 24 or 25 because you need to download 3 zip files in order for the rom to function correctly, also make sure to download the modem or radio because you need to flash that as well. Before you flash anything make sure to go to the OP for that rom and follow instructions thoroughly. If you're concerned for the S Pen functionality, don't worry, it works, I just had to download an app from the play store called Memo (which doest the same stuff as S Note.
Well if you wanna try, I don't have the time but .....
Here is some stuff to help you..
Do a Nandroid backup. or Titanium backup.
Do a full wipe,
Flash the rom you want, if given the option don't flash the modem
then flash Jedi-X Kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106549
Then if you had to flash another Modem for that Rom then flash http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote2/tmoroms/JediX/T889V_Modem.zip if that fist your PHONE (tmO)
I may do a video on it in Youtube if i get time but the omega rom was just taking too long to download so i am not trying it tonight.
I am going to flash Jedi X
Nite...
See you on yTube. http://bit.ly/YT-DL-SG

I just tried this, and while the Omega ROM flashed just fine, I had no radio signal, no data, no calls, and the phone would not recognize my SIM Card. That is after flashing the Jedi Kitchen and the radio provided in the link.
The Omega ROM looks pretty awesome, it would be nice to have it working on TMO Note II's.
Disclaimer:
I have to admit, I've flashed 4 different ROM's so far, and only two of them have completed the install. The rest have failed during the update, or caused a boot cycle. This includes the Jedi Master ROM. So it's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong.

It is actually posted in the n7100 that all roms need to be ported to us carriers and gives procedures on how to do so

Hey did you ever try a complete wipe using TWRP as your recovery factory wiping then system wiping as well, I Also found depending on your SD card if you can back up your Sd cards Sometimes it is helpful to start with just the files you need to flash on the sd. Make sure that you only flash the correct radio. For me that was the latest radio I think its the second down in the list for the jedi kitchen part.
Feel free to contact me but I am very busy so I apologize ahead of time for being slow.

The CWM flashable are ok to use, just flash a T-Mobile kernel from T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4-> Android Original Development and you'll be fine. Just don't mess with the i9505's Odin stock .tar.md5's (or ANYTHING from the i9500 section); those are the ones that will contain all the good stuff to screw up our precious little phones.
Also, you must not have done much research as this subject has been covered many numerous times; not trying to be rude, just pointing it out.

None of the CWM flashable stock ROMs there have modems. There are modified/stock, debloated stock, and I think if you dig deep enough, there is just plain ole rooted stock; all w/o modem.

I have a Tmobile Note 3 SM-N900T and I would like to know if I can flash note 3 international SM-N9005 Stock rom on my device.

I believe it depends on the rom. Some devs list the models it can work with. Also only the devil of rom knows what tinkering they have done. You will loose Wi-Fi calling

Thanks for the reply! I am aware that both phones have the same hardware. So can I just flash the LTE international note 3 stock rom firmware on to my tmobile version? I don't want custom roms, so I was wondering if flashing stock rom would work.

Thought so, hey man since you flashed almost all international roms the ones that don't have aroma or manually install the international kernel, my question is even tho it flashes an international kernel while the rom installs it won't brick my note unless I boot up? After flashing rom right away uncheck reboot at the end of aroma(if any) then flash kernel/wifi>gps>bluetooth fix? All should be gravy?

Where did you hear that? I am pretty sure the 7100 has different hardware and the roms are incompatible. You can port roms to our versions but as far as I know only 7105, T-Mobile, and att roms will work

N7105 ROMs are OK. No need to flash modern unless the ROM you flash has the modem included (very few do). I wouldn't run N7100 ROMs as there is enough of a hardware difference to potentially cause problems.
