Hmmm , for my self im using this room : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254606 its a good room, , but u can try other roms, there are alot !!!
wow!
great ROM mate, thanks for the advice!
is it smooth and snappy?
what kernel are you using for overclocking?
and what does do not flash gaps mean?
Do NOT ask for best rom or best kernel, etc.
All ROMs are good and have their pros and cons. You have to test each ROM and you'll find the best for your needs.

sure, a lot of effort went into making those ROMs and i respect that but it doesn't mean that and all are good..you think otherwise but that's YOUR opinion so don't force it on me mate..

That's not my opinion. Ask for best rom is against XDA rules.

thanks for the heads up!
And lastly, STOP! Stop asking for help in the General section. There is a QnA section just for these kind if questions.

Try CM 7.2 or CM9(It has few bugs). Visit here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1618904
maniac103 from 25.04
For me best is Maniacs from 25.04. Supercharged with v6. Plays games smooth and without any lag.

without flash support for now (hwa), there is no way to play some games that use flash, think that CM9 is not so good to play many games and without a2sd the intern storage is nothing for big games.
Defy mit Android 4.0.4 CM9 RockZ
Supercharged!
Definitely look into v6 supercharger. Makes a great difference
Thread-xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
Cm7.2 @ 1100ghz
V6 Supercharged, nitro lag, and soon to try kickass kernelizer and 3G Turbo charger.
Because of the controversy and arguments they inevitably generate, "best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA. Thread closed.
Hi guys
I found a lot of people's are asking about batter life on our awesome device Note 2
Even I'm confused between custom ROM or Stock ROM
let us to have your experiences with your device and your battery life with you ROM to let the people to decide
Thanks
Which one is better Custom or Stock ROM

I'm still on rooted stock rom and I'm really happy with battery life. I think its more to do with the kernel.... there's Perseus kernel which has undervolt features in the Original Android Dev forum which might be of interest to you... couple that with Rom cleaner and you're good .... good luck

Theres always that one asshole lol I do know what Google is and how to use it. What I'm asking is for peoples experience on what is the best kernel to use in conjunction with CM9 is. What are these forums for if I can't ask these sort of questions? Someone here could save me a lot of heartache/trouble.

Thank you. Have you tried this kernel yet? In your opinion is this the best kernel for CM9 and our device or are you using JB like most of everyone else?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
no offense, but it takes about 30 seconds to flash a kernel. Why don't you try a few and see which one works the best for you? Everyone's experience is going to be slightly different.
I flashed two different kernels before picking one, and after that I added some init.d scripts afterward that improved battery life over the stock kernel settings.

Unfortunately for your situation I am using JB like the rest because I find it more up-to-date, but I have heard really good things about the kernel I posted. Plus, with a title like that, who wouldn't flash it?

I would rather have stability than bleeding-edge any day! Contrary to my claim for the need of stability, I am going to give MIUI a shot. I tried it out when I had my G2x but there were some bugs that made that rom unusable as a dd for me. Hopefully my experience with MIUI will be much more pleasant with the S2!!
I'll flash the kernel later and see what happens. Even though I'll be giving MIUI a test run.... I always end up going back to Cyanogenmod. Always!
Thanks

I'm very disappointed to hear that! MIUI is so sleek and sexy! Why is it so damn hard to get working? ... or is there just a lack devs for that ROM?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
When I was running MIUI my only problem was not being able to shut off the capacitive lights. I had no problems with bootloops or anything of that sort.
I get bootloops and/or camera crashes with the latest JB MIUI and horrible call quality on my end with the last ICS based MIUI. It's odd that the call quality is fixed with the JB MIUI and busted in ICS, should be the other way around lol.
hey, there are many ROM in Development forum,

I have been using the gin2jellybean/kitkat (now) and it didnt let me down but got bored and am currently on Miui turbo gaming edition and all i can say is wow and the battery is amazing so try one of those two
I recently tried NXT 2 just for kicks. No offense to krisdee, it's an awesome ROM -- aesthetics-wise. But performance? I think I'd stick with @vokal1992's ROM for now. It's awesome as it is already. But if tweaked and maintained with Disable Service and RAM Manager Pro? Man, it flies!
Best ROM/Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA or is asking for advice on which to use, You are best trying them out and see which best suits your needs.

Hi guys!
It's wonderful to see that so many people use nowadays the beautiful wildfire!
I've buy some new phone...the last is the moto g...but the build quality, the small dimensions....I love my wildfire!
But I have the stock sense...so instagram, telegram and other programs don't work...even the memory is ridicolous.
So is there a ROM for daily use? I mean smooth and with gps, camera, etc working well?
Sorry for my bad english and thankyou very much for help me

So no issues you need to start but people often forget to read the rules ... (But i read all those in the beginning )..;;; Enjoy old and new ROMS and contribute to the development :good:
